Letter to State Senator Hatfield Supporting A.G. Rob McKenna

Senator Hatfield,

As you are aware, Attorney General Rob McKenna is an elected official, who by suing the federal government over Constitutional issues that may or may not exist in the health care bill, is representing Washington residents with integrity and is doing his job as he should be. Governor Gregoire’s actions in this matter are inappropriate; she is engaging in strong arm & apparent defamation tactics as well as foot stomping child like tantrums. Gov. Gregoire is representing her personal views and representing the federal government to Washington residents which is an outrage. As a Washington Resident I’m embarrassed by her actions…

As your constituent I urge that you not support or participate in any attempts by Gregoire or anyone else to derail A.G. McKenna in performing his duty as the elected Attorney General of Washington State. If there does turn out to be constitutional violations in the health care law then they need to be addressed, if there is none then fine but McKenna should have support to check.

Senator Hatfield I expect you to be loyal to both Washington and U.S. Constitution’s, as well as to your constituents, rather then to any party. Wrong is wrong, and right is right, in this case it is worth checking as the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights is always worth fighting for.
