Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic
“McCain is a good friend of Hillary's and mine, although we permit him to deny it at election time," said Bill Clinton. Clintons and McCains seem to have embraced each other, offering up their families' working relationship as an example of ways that political leaders can overcome the partisan divide. Richard Fontaine, a McCain foreign policy aide, said McCain "was struck by Secretary Clinton's pragmatism, willingness to reach across party and ideological lines." He said: "I think they both lament the extreme partisanship that has come to characterize Washington these days." The senators reportedly shared vodka shots after a day of meetings, as they prepared for their 2008 presidential campaigns. McCain won admirers in Clinton's camp when he took to the Senate floor in July 2012 to defend top Clinton aide Huma Abedin after Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., suggested members of Abedin's family had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. McCain called it "an unwarranted and unfounded attack on an honorable woman, a dedicated American and a loyal public servant." http://news.yahoo.com/mccain-clinton-bond-crosses-partisan-waters-2...

Both 2 steps away from death's door.” * ronald: “My God, politics is so incestuous with the Senile Senator from Arizona, who wants to go to war with everyone and the Lesbian Liar former First "Lady"! * Wayne: “McCain needs to come out of the political closet and proudly proclaim that he is a DEMOCRAT. And thanks Arizona, for sticking him down the rest of the country's throat for another 6 YEARS!!” * chic: “Well they do have a lot in common--both morally and ethically bankrupt career politicians who have betrayed those for whom they are supposed to be working, in order to advance their own political career. Textbook examples of the kind of people we need to get OUT of our political process.”
