Melbourne FL Tea Party

I wasn't the organizer, but I did get involved today with the Tea Party in Melbourne FL. I went over to the tables to sign petitions and got caught up in helping organize the signing of four (4) petitions (Term Limits, Illegal Immigration, Fair Taxation and Secret Ballots). There must have been over 1,000 people at City Hall in Melbourne FL on Strawbridge Avenue from 12:00PM - 1:15PM. It was truly electrifying. Everyone was engaged and helping each other; I just think this is going to explode into something real great for our country. I don't have any pictures since I was helping with the onslaught of people eager to sign petitions but will take it with me to the next one at the Brevard park off Park Avenue.

I just came home from a Tea Party in Harrisburg, Pa. It was packed, very friendly and polite and cold, pouring rain! This is the first protest I ever attended. The people's patriotic attitudes brought tears to my eyes! I came home soaked but very happy I went, and I did not notice any trouble makers.
