Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

November Elections - You've been warned...

It is time to stop hiding behind the Constitution and start standing in front of it, defending it. When will enough be enough? We can't always expect other people to fight our battles. To say nothing and allow the chipping away of the people's rights and freedoms is to condone and enable. I'm not inciting violence. I'm not waging a war on the government. The government has waged a war on us and our Constitution. Our Constitution has become a stumbling block that hinders the monetary gains of corporations and politicians who fund our elections. How do we rectify a failed government body that does not recognize the laws it has sworn to uphold? I know these are questions many of us have and unfortunately I don't have all the answers. But I do know, to keep our country in civil order, we must use the Constitution to save it while there is something left to save. We cannot continue to be complacent about the systematic disabling of our country. By doing so, we allow others to line their pockets at the expense or our rights and freedoms.
Between political correctness and progressive ideology, our nation is being strangled. It cannot survive and will not survive if left on its current course. We need to stand up and face the corruption, the lies, and the deceit that plagues our government and threatens our daily lives. We all have become slaves to our government and the banks and corporations with whom they are in bed. No corporate campaign contributions should ever be received by a political party. Until this practice stops, it will be business as usual in Washington. Those corporate-funded elected officials do not represent the people. They are employees of those corporations, elected to manipulate and create skewed laws to benefit themselves and the corporations they now represent. I'm not against capitalism. I'm against a government elected by capitalism. Where is the equality when a corporation has more money than an individual citizen and is allowed to use those funds to buy policy? I want representation given back to the individual citizens of this country. The political game is currently very one-sided and the only end game I see in sight is one that continues to hand our rights over to the highest bidder.
Do not be fooled by the people currently trying to ride the freedom train. Be cautious. This is an opportunity to be taken by the cunning politicians who see the benefit of "using" the people to fulfill their own agenda and/or their corporate sponsor's agenda. This saying might be cliché, but it will find you the truth about your potential politicians for November 2010 and beyond... follow the money. You will then know who the people running for office really represent. Ask yourself, does it make it "ok" if these corporations are trying to get the person you want in office? In the end...who do you think those representatives will really represent? Will they represent the individual citizen who casts a vote and gives nothing else or the corporate cash cow who gives perks and paychecks for creating policy to benefit those corporations?
Career politics and corporate back-scratching has created a disease in our government. The only cure is to eliminate the source of nourishment that feeds it. End corporate funding to politics and restore our republic back to the people.
