Question: Should the “Restoring Honor Rally” held at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on August 28, 2010, sponsored by Glenn Beck and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF), serve as a wake up call to each and every God, Family and Country Loving American, regardless of political affiliation, race, color, creed, religion or national origin and, if so, why?

Disclaimer: I am not a politician and thus am not known for always being politically correct because I call it as I see it. I lost my father, a WWII Veteran, who survived the Battle of the Bulge, but lost the battle with his PTSD symptoms at the young age of fifty-nine and I also lost many a friend during the Viet Nam War that fought and died to uphold our “Constitutional Rights” and the freedom that too many “Americans in Name Only” take for granted. I have to admit that I tend to get extremely concerned when I see politicians, regardless of political affiliation, sex, race, color (In the Marine Corps we were all green), creed, ethnic origin or religion, doing things and/or taking actions that I see as a threat to the freedom and/or rights given us under our Constitution and/or the safety, security or welfare of our Veterans, active duty members or their dependents/survivors. America…Love it or leave it!

I also consider the sharing of these concerns to be given me under our “Freedom of Speech Rights” and, as an American Citizen, I believe that it is my “God Given Right and/or Duty” to stand up for and defend this or any other rights given me under our Constitution, as other God, family and country loving Americans in uniform have done in the past and continue to do to this date:
