Steve Sanson for Clark County Public Administrator in 2010

Steve Sanson strong commitment to his country and his community has been demonstrated through his leadership and service in the United States Marine Corps in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm, which earned him the distinguishing Certificate of Commendation from the United States Marine Corps, National Defense Medal, Kuwaiti Liberation Medal and many others..

Within Clark County, Sanson assumes an important role with the Veteran Community. Steve Sanson is the former Chaplain for the Henderson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and the Las Vegas Marine Corps League Detachment.

Sanson made numerous appearances at funerals for our fallen serviceman, parades, and community functions. Sanson is the President for Veterans in Politics International (see website: http://veteransinpolitics.us.com/joomla), and had testified in front of our Nevada State Legislature and appearing at our State Capital in Carson City meeting with State Legislators on various veteran issues such as a Veterans Court, keeping natural turf at our Nevada State Veterans Cemetery and many others.

Steve Sanson participates at Town Hall Meetings, County Commission Meetings by testify for a USO or a Military Hospitality Lounge for our troops arriving at McCarran Airport, Planning Commission Meetings, and City Council Meetings testifying against the extended flag pole at Towbin car dealership, and coordinating a Proclamation to the United States Marine Corps for their 231 Birthday from the City of Las Vegas and many others, School Board Meeting testifying for a Clark County Public School to be named Veteran.

Sanson has also made several visits to our Nations Capital of Washington D.C. In Washington D.C. Sanson meet several times with members of Congress and the US Senate to get a Veteran Insurance card, a USO in Nevada, Homeless Veteran Issues, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder amongst our Veterans returning from Combat, and increasing the troop serge in Afghanistan with a group called Vets for Freedom.

Sanson earned a Certificate of Recognition by former Nevada Republican Assemblywoman Valerie Weber and a Certificate of Appreciation by Nevada Democratic Assemblywoman Marilyn Kirkpatrick.

Additionally, Steve Sanson participates with our Judicial Community by lobbying for a permanent Small Claims Court Room for our new Las Vegas Justice Regional Center. Steve Sanson authored and published a self help book on "How to Collect on Your Bad Debt Accounts." Sanson provided education and complimentary books to
many citizens within the community to assist in their preparation for Small Claims Court (see website: http://debtcollections.us/index.html)

Steve Sanson is very active within the Republican Party. Sanson is a member of several Republican Coalitions. Sanson was elected to the Clark County Republican Party - Executive Board and designated Chaplain for the Clark County Republican Party Central Committee from 2006 through 2008 and again in 2009. Sanson was also a Poll Watcher during the 2004 Presidential Campaign and Site Coordinator for the 2008 Presidential Caucus. Steve Sanson has Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons appointment to the Southern Nevada Veteran Cemetery Advisory Board in 2007 and again in 2009, was appointed to the Las Vegas Railroad Society as their Government Affairs Officer in 2009, and was selected to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Use Of Force Board in 2009.

Furthermore, Steve Sanson is the former Vice President for the Asian Republicans of Nevada (ARN). Sanson is instrumental in creating awareness within the Asian and Veteran Community regarding political and social issues. Sanson promotes active participation in the election process for the Republican platform both locally and nationally by eligible voters.

Sanson is also the host of an Internet Talk Show on AllTalkRadio.net every Saturday entitled Veterans In Politics discussing issues that concern the community with distinguished members of our community (see website http://www.alltalkradio.net/atr2/veteransinpolitics.htm).

Steve Sanson character is beyond reproach. He is a man with honor, integrity, and veracity. Sanson selflessness and altruism to his community have been demonstrated time and again. Sanson leadership is superb and his allegiance to the course is admirable and rarely duplicated.

We need a leader with courage and endurance. We need a leader who will stand strong with audacious vision to “do the right thing”. Steve Sanson commitment and devotion have been proven. As importantly, Steve Sanson provides the rare combination of a new look on politics with old-fashion principled values.

Steve Sanson has filed once again for the office of the Clark County Public Administrator. Sanson feels that this office has “not done” its ethical and moral duties to inform the citizens of Clark County how “not to end up” in this office by conducting workshops and seminars educating the people of Clark County on wills, living trust, and the laws that deal with probate.

Steve Sanson by far is not a career politician and he is not beholding to anyone and any special interest groups.
