Thieves could go free while victim faces jail time

You simply must read this article. An elderly man could spend the rest of his life in prison just for trying to defend his life and property.

The article says:
"82-year-old Robert Wallace said in February that he looked out his window and saw two men hooking his flatbed trailer up to their pickup. He yelled at them to stop, but they sped away, stealing his trailer. He told police he fired two shots at the pickup."

Although the two thieves admitted stealing the trailer, they have not been charged with any crimes and are being given deals to testify again the 82 yr old man they tried to run over with his own trailer.

Both these scumbags have prior arrests records and are believed to be in the country illegally.

The 82 yrs old faces 12 felony counts, including attempted murder - for trying to protect himself and his property.

One of these men is being investigated for a car theft ring.
One of these men has escaped criminal charges in the past by taking the famous plea bargin of agricultural trespassing which is not a criminal charge and allows someone to escape deportation
