Yes, absolutely. However, I believe it will take two or three election cycles (if we get there) to correct decades of bad election and policy choices, which culminated in extreme back room deals and corruption by weak, fickle politicians who capitalized on the fact that the American public was largely disengaged. In the end, these decisions created a vast political class who live off the fruits of others' labors...and therein lies the rub.
