The line of candidates who wish to fill State Senate seat vacated by Senator Warren Hardy just got longer.

Republican and conservative candidate Steve W. Sanson Jr. has declared his candidacy for Nevada Senate District 12. Steve Sanson Jr. has new Priorities for Nevada with specific plans. He aspires to be a leader that really listens to Nevadans... Steve Sanson served as a combat medic in the Army National Guard and he is a graduate of Ranch High School. He currently attends UNLV Some of the ways he plans to create jobs for Nevada is to create a Military Hospitality Facility for our Veterans at McCarran Airport that will create 20 job openings, creation of the Las Vegas Rail Road Society Project that would create 200 jobs in the Northwestern part of the Valley, and an odorless cremation facility in Boulder City which will cut the funeral expenses of Nevadans transporting their loved ones to Henderson or Las Vegas for cremation. Steve Sanson Jr. believes that schools should compete for students instead of students going to school where they are zoned

His father, Steve Sanson Sr. also serves in the United States Marine Corps and is running for Clark County Administrator. The military Tradition runs in the Sanson family.


Steve Sanson Jr seeks to use the office of Nevada District 12 to pursue more efficient government including forensic audits of all government offices for two years to weed through corruption and mishap policies. Steve Sanson Jr. also believes when construction companies leave cones up weeks before a project starts causing back up traffic and accidents they should be fined.
