Production goal 150,000. Sold 6.950. Each Volt is 235,000. GMAC (now Ally) owes 13.2 BILLION. Chevy was bought by the govt at $31/share, it will never get that high again. The IPO was for quick cash and those who got it later make NOTHING.
The VOLT is a govt car. It will only sell to the Federal Govt, there is NO demand in the public or private sector. Therefore MORE money will be injected, or it will fail. Either way, it's a rip off and every taxpayer should be outraged.
