Oh there are good alternatives available I am sure, however the fix has been in for years, why would anyone think that anything could change for the better this quickly. A good alternative would change the game. The establishment is not going to allow that IMO.
Vice President Joe Biden’s announcement on Wednesday that he would not run for president of the United States made it a foregone conclusion that the media would worship at the shrine of Hillary Clinton during her Benghazi testimony on Thursday.
California Democrats Rep. Adam Schiff (CA-28) and Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-28) did their best–or worst–to cover for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as she testified on Thursday at the House Benghazi Select Committee.
Conservatives movement-wide worry that the donor class’s concerted effort to push House Ways and Means Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) into the House speakership—a post he’s almost certain to win now that he’s running—would ultimately lead to an amnesty push in 2017 alongside Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) if Rubio wins the White House.
They should be very worried because it will come if the RINOs have the power.
Former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee is ending his campaign for president, further clearing the field for Hillary Clinton’s looming march to the Democratic nomination.
Forgot he was even in. lol
Gallup’s latest poll finds the much-demonized National Rifle Association with far higher approval ratings than two of its most prominent assailants: President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. The NRA had a 58 percent approval rating, far higher than Obama’s 45 percent or Clinton’s 41 percent.
I can certainly see why!
It wasn’t all that long ago that many of the same “early state” operatives and strategists had Trump pegged for an early primary exit. The news that Donald Trump is increasingly likely to win the GOP nomination is likely to force some of the establishment forces dogging him to recalibrate. Say what they will, there’s no way operatives and strategists are going to want to be frozen out from feeding at the general election trough should Trump become their party’s standard bearer next Fall.
the political establishment knows exactly where Trump stands in the primary battles at each state. What the polls reports has no interest to the political machines except to calibrate their own data. We are a long way from the primaries and this election is not shaping up any different than the ones in the past. Should Trump win the nomination the establishment politicians will have a plan to deal with that outcome.

In 1985, while he was the mayor of Burlington, VT, Bernie Sanders gave an interview to the local cable access network during which he praised Fidel Castro for educating his people and giving them healthcare.
CNS News reported:
Sanders in 1985: Castro ‘Educated Their Kids, Gave Their Kids Health Care, Totally Transformed Society’
During the interview, Sanders discussed his recent trip to Nicaragua, marking the sixth anniversary of the Sandinista revolution, and drew parallels between Castro’s regime and the Nicaraguan Sandinista regime of Daniel Ortega.
“In 1961, [America] invaded Cuba, and everybody was totally convinced that Castro was the worst guy in the world,” said Sanders.
“All the Cuban people were going to rise up in rebellion against Fidel Castro. They forgot that he educated their kids, gave their kids health care, totally transformed society,” he said.
“You know, not to say Fidel Castro and Cuba are perfect – they are certainly not – but just because Ronald Reagan dislikes these people does not mean to say the people in these nations feel the same,” continued Sanders.
