Hillary Clinton DOESN’T KNOW WHAT MARINES DO At US Embassies (VIDEO)

hillary benghazi

Apparently, Hillary Clinton is clueless about who works at US embassies. She doesn’t even seem to know what US Marines do.

Breitbart reports:

Clinton revealed her lack of knowledge about the U.S. embassy security situation at Thursday’s House Benghazi Committee hearing, where she said that Marines stationed at Benghazi “were not there” to protect personnel.

“Certainly it was useful for our security professionals and our diplomats to be partnered in that way with the Defense Department. You know, historically the only presence at some of our facilities has been Marines. And as you know well, Marines were there not for the purpose of personnel protection; they were there to destroy classified material and equipment,” Clinton said.

But the Marine Security Guards at U.S. Embassies do, actually, provide security for personnel, according to the Marine Corps website.

Senate Dems rally around Clinton after Benghazi hearing

Senate Democrats are rallying behind Hillary Clinton after her marathon appearance before the House Select Committee on Benghazi, suggesting Republicans have only helped bolster the former secretary of State's presidential bid.

"I had somebody come to my home this morning and say, 'You know, I think that put her in the White House,'" Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) told reporters Friday.

The California Democrat — who led the Senate Intelligence Committee's investigation into the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya —added that "those [committee] rooms get hot. The lights get bright. I think she showed drive and a staying power and a motivation. ... I could see her across the table from [Russian President Vladimir] Putin."

Clinton has won wide praise from the media and Democrats for her hours-long testimony, capping off a positive few weeks for a campaign that was embattled for months by questions over Clinton's private email server.

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) added that House Republicans "certainly didn't do any damage to Hillary Clinton's campaign for president, and since that was their goal, they get an F."

The Benghazi Committee has been under intensifying scrutiny since House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) linked its work with Clinton's flagging poll numbers. His remarks late last month drew quick pushback from Democrats, as well as some Republicans.

Senate Democrats, including Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) sent a letter this week to the Republican National Committee suggesting that it should pay for the committee. They've also repeatedly called on Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to shut down it down.

Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), a Clinton supporter, doubled down on that Friday, telling reporters that "it's time now to close this select committee."

"This has just been a partisan attempt to undermine Hillary Clinton. It hasn't succeeded," she added.

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), who is expected to be the upper chamber's next Democratic leader, called the committee a "political sham," noting that while Republicans "badgered" Clinton, they also "failed to lay a glove on her."

Republican leadership, however, has given no indication that it's willing to shutter the committee and instead defended its work in investigating the 2012 attacks, which killed four Americans including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

House Democrats said separately on Friday that they will stick with the committee for now despite pressure to boycott. Schumer avoided weighing in on whether they should stop participating.

A senior finance staffer for former Florida Gov. George W. Bush’s Greatest Sins Came After 9-11, Not Before

There are more culprits in this story than George W. Bush, and at the head of that list is the U.S. Congress—a Congress that has been under Republican control for at least half of those 14 years since 9-11. Republican leaders in Congress – including Speaker-to-be Paul Ryan, have spent more time promoting amnesty bills than trying to plug the loopholes in our immigration laws that allow terrorists safe haven in our homeland.

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is calling on fellow presidential candidates to return “dark money” sent to Super PACs. Clinton Exposed as Liar in Benghazigate Hearings, but Secrets Remain

In her latest round of testimony on the Benghazi attack that left four Americans dead, Hillary Clinton, secretary of state at the time of the attack, was exposed as a liar. But she was careful to avoid any “serious” scrutiny of the 800-pound gorilla in the room: the Obama administration's widely reported gun-running programs for jihadists battling former U.S. government terror-war allies in Libya and Syria. When questioned, Clinton denied any knowledge of such a program, only to be confronted with an e-mail in which she proposed doing precisely that via proxies. Indeed, the fact that Obama has been arming jihadists in Syria is today beyond dispute.
