NEW INFORMATION ON FACE-MASKS EFFECTIVENESS FOR COVID-19

I have been fighting the masks all along. I know they don't work. I had complete hazmat training, so I know what works. they also violate the OSHA Oxygen Depleted Atmospere regulations.

OSHA Oxygen Deficient Atmosphere Regulations

While normal atmosphere contains between 20.8 and 21 percent oxygen, OSHA defines as oxygen deficient any atmosphere that contains less than 19.5 percent oxygen, and as oxygen enriched, any atmosphere that contains more than 22 percent.

Paragraph (d)(2)(iii) of the Respiratory Protection Standard considers any atmosphere with an oxygen level below 19.5 percent to be oxygen-deficient and immediately dangerous to life or health.

Human beings must breathe oxygen . . . to survive, and begin to suffer adverse health effects when the oxygen level of their breathing air drops below [19.5 percent oxygen]. Below 19.5 percent oxygen . . . , air is considered oxygen-deficient. At concentrations of 16 to 19.5 percent, workers engaged in any form of exertion can rapidly become symptomatic as their tissues fail to obtain the oxygen necessary to function properly (Rom, W., Environmental and Occupational Medicine, 2nd ed.; Little, Brown; Boston, 1992). Increased breathing rates, accelerated heartbeat, and impaired thinking or coordination occur more quickly in an oxygen-deficient environment. Even a momentary loss of coordination may be devastating to a worker if it occurs while the worker is performing a potentially dangerous activity, such as climbing a ladder. Concentrations of 12 to 16 percent oxygen cause tachypnea (increased breathing rates), tachycardia (accelerated heartbeat), and impaired attention, thinking, and coordination (e.g., Ex. 25-4), even in people who are resting.

Tests done on the average Oxygen content of standard medical face masks show a sustained Oxygen content at the nose and mouth of 17.3% after less than 30 seconds.

OSHA has established a Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) for CO2 of 5,000 parts per million (ppm) (0.5% CO2 in air) averaged over an 8-hour work day (time-weighted average orTWA.)

I have been refusing to wear a mask forever. I did have to tell Menards that I will no longer buy at their store in Baraboo when they told me to wear a mask. I left. (My husband wears a mask because of his health, so he went in; but he also will not be shopping at Menards.) We have Lowes, and Home Depot and McFarland's - they do not force masks. And Madison, Has lost our visits - they are forcing masks (unless you are protesting). Humm. Well Madison and Milwaukee lost our visits several years ago; because of their anti- First Amendment rights. Hope Wisconsin wakes up soon.

My favorite hat says "GOD, GUNS, and GUTS" and it is on my head every day I'm out and about. So far, no one's ever tried to take it. And they'd better not.
