Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic
As this election unfolds. We can not think for one minute that Trump will just move in and fix our countries problems. He will set things right with economy and protection of the constitution. BUT...It is up to our generation to teach the young the proper values of how we live together as free people.Thoughtful explanation is needed to fix the ignorance that has been driven into them while we were sleeping. Our generation knows of real freedom. The 40 year old`s only hear our stories of it, but are already use to their way as being normal. Then you go to the 30 year old`s. They now want the socialism that is coming at us. They are drinking the progressive cool aide. They must be taught of that socialism is not good ,and can not work. They must get this themselves. Then you have a lost generation that will just need to be tolerated as much as possible. I can not see trying to teach them....I started this discussion in hopes of sharing a few ideas.I try and teach a younger person a little bit every time I go out and about...One at a time will be the best way.

It has been a problem for decades - the progressives control education. Only home schooled and charter schools have actually taught true America.
Virgina, half of my grandchildren were all homeschooled by a very Christian mother. They are are in college or are working and they are liberals. The other half of my grandchildren all went to public education and they too are either in college or out working. They are all moderately conservative. I don't think where you are educated has the most influence on your political views. I think your economic background has the most influence.
Well you are correct their also, but the public education has been overrun with liberal programs and teachings. I've noticed it in Madison, where I went to school and where my grandchildren were educated. Even in the 40s and 50s, Madison was already heading down the drain with liberal ideas within the schools.
