A new report by the Center for Immigration Studies found there is a record 42.1 million Americans in the United States today.

Democrats need the new voters–

The Washington Examiner reported:

A new analysis of legal and illegal immigrant counts by the Census Bureau revealed Thursday that there is a record 42.1 million in the United States, an explosion that is being driven by Mexicans flooding across the border.

In a report provided to Secrets by the Center for Immigration Studies, the total immigrant population surged 1.7 million since 2014. The growth was led in the last year by an additional 740,000 Mexican immigrants.

The 42.1 million tabulated by Census in the second quarter represent over 13 percent of the U.S. population, the biggest percentage in 105 years.

What’s more, the numbers of immigrants coming and going from the U.S. is actually higher since many return home every years, said the report. “For the immigrant population to increase by one million means that significantly more than one million new immigrants must enter the country because some immigrants already here return to their homeland each year and natural mortality totals 250,000 annually,” said the Center.

Then there’s this– 80% of California illegal immigrant families live in poverty and need government assistance.

Morale At ICE In A Nosedive

Morale at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is in the gutter, sources tell The Daily Caller. Staffers at ICE find themselves in a politicized culture and are looking for ways to leave the agency for other job opportunities.

“There are people at ICE who are just dying to get out. There are often these openings that you see at USA jobs. For any given job, there might be one position open and you are getting on average four or 500 applicants for that one job and many of those applicants are coming from places like ICE,” one source told TheDC.

Additionally, ICE officers and agents find the mission of their jobs — which is to enforce immigration law — is often counter to the orders given to them when they are told to release criminal illegal aliens into the public.

“They are just so fed up. The organizational culture from where they’ve come from, it has become so politicized. The immigration system is not just broken. It’s dead. A lot of people at ICE are just so fed up,” the source said. “There’s no enforcement, and worse than that when you’re not enforcing you’re being told, ‘Well you basically can’t do the right thing.’ And the right thing being ‘Well, here’s someone who needs to be detained and you’re not being allowed to have this person detained.’”

Hundreds Of Released Criminal Immigrants Committed Crimes Again

 

The Obama administration released 30,558 criminal aliens with a total of 79,059 convictions in fiscal year 2014, and nearly 1,500 of those released went on to commit more crimes ranging from vehicular homicide to sexual assault to child abuse.

Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte released these numbers during an oversight hearing on the Department of Homeland Security Tuesday.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement provided the data to the committee, which showed that of the 30,558 released immigrant criminals, 1,423 have since been convicted again.

Republican Congressmen have criticized the new DHS policy of not prioritizing deportation of fugitive immigrants if the order for their removal was issued before January 1, 2014.

LOS ANGELES — Francisco Rivera is a legal immigrant who delivered an impassioned speech to the Huntington Park City Council on Monday night, joining other residents in protest against their decision to appoint two illegal aliens to city commissions.

Rivera, who is originally from Jalisco, Mexico, told Breitbart News that he is opposed to honoring those who have broken the laws of the country. “You shouldn’t get special treatment or get rewarded if you break federal laws by coming illegally,” he said in an interview.

Here are Rivera’s full remarks (in the video, and transcribed, below):

Listen–Many of you guys don’t know me back here, but I’ll go ahead and introduce myself, a little—just, quickly.

Who am I? I’m a guy that has been volunteering, cleaning up our city for many years now. I’ve been living here in the city for 35 years, and I can honestly tell you I take down every ad, every graffiti, every sticker, every piece of trash that I see on the boulevard, I pick it up and put it in the trash. 

(Interjection: Thank you.)

I can honestly tell you guys, I’ve been here for 35 years, and I’ve looked at you straight in the eyes, every single meeting. I never even knew these guys existed ’til now! I’ve never seen them in my life! All of a sudden they’re gonna get rewarded by breaking federal laws, ladies and gentlemen?

And if I’m not mistaken, I ask myself–doesn’t the City of Huntington Park receive federal money? But yet, you break federal laws! Or, you reward people that break federal laws.

We are a country, yes. But in this country we have laws and rules and regulations that need to be followed. How can we become—how can we be a great nation when we reward people that come to this country illegally?

I don’t have anything against immigrants. But there’s a difference between “immigrant” and “illegal immigrant.”

And I ask myself: what part of “illegal” don’t you guys understand? 

(Cheers, applause)

I mean, even a two-year-old—You know, it’s kind of funny how, I can honestly tell you, If I’m hungry and if I’m starving and if I break into somebody’s house, illegally, I’m gonna go to jail. But if I go and (knocks) knock on somebody’s door and say, “Ma’am, I’m really hungry. Can you do me a favor? Could you please make me a sandwich?” That’s the proper way to ask for something.

You shouldn’t get rewarded by breaking a law and say, “Oh, it’s because I was hungry.” “Oh, OK—so, hey, let’s all go to Huntington Park! Let’s all break doors open there, because they won’t do anything! In fact, they’ll probably reward you [for] breaking federal law.”

And by that, I’m thoroughly disgusted. And it’s very very sad, to be honest with you. And I hope that you guys take that under consideration. That, you know–not every immigrant that is here, is here illegally. And that’s the difference. Theres a right way to do things, and a wrong way. People shouldn’t get rewarded by doing the wrong thing. It’s not fair for guys like me. And it’s not fair for other people as well.

In an interview with Breitbart News Tuesday morning, Rivera reiterated:

You want to become part of this great nation–that’s fine, but you have to come through the right channels and background check. That’s what I see these people are not doing.

I went through all the process. I really appreciate this country and this great nation. A lot of these people, these teenagers, don’t appreciate it.

I have seen with my own very eyes how this country has gone down the drain when these people come into a community. I have heard guys say, “I don’t care about this country.”

I literally remember this one guy, he must have been about 19 years old, bald, holding a Mexican flag. He looked at the sheriff and he literally told the guy, “F- the USA.” I thought, And you want to be a part of this country? Look at what you’re doing, the way you act.”

People don’t have passion and love for this country, but when they are about to be deported they say, “Please don’t deport me!”

They only want to be a part of this nation when they’re threatened with being deported.

I see all the graffiti, the trash–they don’t take any pride in this country, gangs, drugs. If you come to this great nation and work and go to school and obey the laws, but if you’re here to cause problems, go somewhere else. People need to stop getting the handouts. It’s not right in this or any other country.

That’s why I go out for the past seven years and clean up my community. A lot of people think I do it for the city. In reality, I do it as a volunteer. I don’t like to see all this garbage. I’m trying to make a positive image for our community. When you are here and obey the laws, you take pride in your community. When someone comes to this country illegally, they don’t have the same pride in it.

People need to understand that not every immigrant supports immigration reform and I do not approve of it. You don’t cut in front of people in line and expect not to pay the consequences. That’s why we have rules and laws, not just in this country, but many countries. You need to get in line…

I do not approve of immigration reform. A lot of immigrants agree with me. I’ve talked to a lot of legal immigrants and they say, “I’m sorry, I do not approve of it,” and they get called traitors. I obey the laws and rules of this country.

Driver’s Licenses Available To Illegals In 10 States And D.C.

Ten states and the District of Columbia issue driver’s licenses or similar certifications to illegal immigrants, according to a new analysis from the Pew Charitable Trusts.

In a report issued this week, Pew Charitable Trusts reveals that as of this summer California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Vermont, and Washington and the District of Columbia all issue driver’s licenses or similar certification to illegal immigrants.

Nearly 37 percent of the illegal immigrant population live in the 11 jurisdictions that offer driver’s licenses, or about 4.1 million illegal immigrants.

Meanwhile, Delaware and Hawaii both adopted new laws this year that would allow illegal immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses, however, to date, neither state has started issuing them.

According to Pew, five of the 11 jurisdictions that currently offer illegal immigrants driver’s licenses have a greater percentage of illegal immigrants than the national average of 3.5 percent — namely California (6.3 percent), Illinois (3.7 percent), Maryland (4.3 percent), Nevada (7.6 percent), and Utah (3.6 percent).

The states have authority over the regulation of driver’s licenses. Pew’s report looked at the experiences states have had in extending driving certification to illegal immigrants, examining states’ methods for estimating demand and cost, determining eligibility, setting insurance procedures, and providing outreach.

The implementation also resulted in new personnel needs for states, a requirement that the report noted represented states’ largest expected cost. California projected a need for 822 new limited-term positions, Illinois hired 100 more people, Connecticut made plans for 18 hires, Maryland 55 hires, Colorado over 17 hires, the District of Columbia three hires, and Nevada expected 14 more employees.

States largely projected overall cost based on estimated participants and expected new staff.

“California’s fiscal summary estimated costs of approximately $140 million to $220 million and application fee revenue of approximately $50 million over three years,” the report read, for example. “That assumed 1.4 million unauthorized immigrants would apply for driver’s licenses over a three-year period. The state’s 2014-15 budget allocated $67.4 million to issue licenses to unauthorized immigrants and included a mechanism for increasing funding if the number of applicants proved unexpectedly high.”

Despite the steps some states have taken, polls have indicated that a majority of Americans oppose granting illegal immigrants driver’s licenses. An April YouGov/Huffington Post poll, for example found that 64 percent of Americans opposed allowing illegal immigrants to obtain rivers licenses in their state.

District Judge Orders Release of Migrant Mothers, Children from Detention Centers

On August 21, U.S. District Judge Dolly Gee ordered the Obama administration to release migrant mothers and their children from detention centers beginning October 24.

The detention facilities, run by ICE, are used to hold migrant mothers and their children while their health status and other eligibility matters are reviewed prior to pursuing citizenship.

In July, Gee ruled against the administration’s extended use of such facilities, saying “The government acted in violation of a 1997 settlement regarding child migrants.” The Obama administration put forth a “last minute plea” hoping Gee would reconsider that ruling prior to handing one down Friday, but she rejected the plea.

According to The Sacramento Bee, Gee said, “Defendants submitted a 51-page brief that served primarily as a vehicle for a thinly-veiled motion for reconsideration, rehashing many of the same arguments which the Court previously rejected.”

As things now stand, migrant mothers and children currently in holding must be released “as quickly as possible” beginning October 24. Thereafter, the administration may only hold mothers and daughters for five days, unless there are “extenuating” circumstances–as when “70,000 Central American families” flooded into America in 2014 and overwhelmed the system. Under such circumstances the government may hold mothers and children for 20 days instead of five.

The option of a 20-day detention is the only quasi-concession the administration received from Judge Gee.

A few questions for Jorge Ramos

Jorge Ramos seemed bent on the disruption of Donald Trump’s media event in Iowa the other day.  He posed as a questioner, yet was more a distraction pushing a declarative.  He had a speech to make and a spectacle to create.

Recall the interview he conducted with Barack Obama.  He allowed Obama to push out the falsehood that Fast and Furious was a program first started by George W. Bush.  Mr. Ramos’ daughter works for Hillary Clinton.  So, the obvious is self evident.  Mr. Ramos is in bed with Democrats.  He is an agent for an agenda.

Yet there seems to be something hidden here, some ulterior motive for Mr. Ramos. 

He authored a book called “No Borders”.  Now there is a revelation.

The LA Times cites Tim Graham’s observation:

"We do have this antique notion that a newsman will be disinterested and stay above the fray but Ramos reports like he is a lobbyist for the National Council of La Raza or a Democratic pundit," said Tim Graham, director of media analysis for the conservative watchdog group, Media Research Center.

It is curious that a Mexican national would set up shop in the United States and become an advocate for immigration from Mexico to the United States.  Where is love of homeland?  Where is the want to elevate your country of origin by halting the stream out and make it better in Mexico?  Or, is there something else at work?

La Raza (The Race) apparently has slipped under the radar of the uber politically correct and watchdogs of racism.  What could be more blatantly racial than being involved with and supporting a group call The Race? 

And what is the mission of La Raza and those who carry its water? 

Reconquista or reconquest, of the American Southwest is a known goal of sub organizations affiliated and partially sponsored by La Raza as noted in this article from Human Events.  MEChA is one such organization, and one of its former members became Mayor of Los Angeles, another California Lt. Governor. MEChA mission statement language can be found alarming.

“In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal gringo invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan (Colorado, California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon and parts of Washington State) from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny.”

So now, Mr. Jorge Ramos, please explain your connection, if any, to La Raza, and if you will, repudiate the concept of “reconquista” and any groups that propose such an agenda.

What exactly is your mission, Mr. Ramos?  Are you encouraging the flow of people out of your native country to the United States?  If so, why? Are you for repatriating the American Southwest per the objectives of La Raza?

Jorge Ramos: Kate’s Law ‘Completely Unfair’ to ‘Millions’ of Illegals

Univision’s Jorge Ramos, the left-wing activist who confronted Donald Trump in Iowa last week and tried to make Trump’s press conference all about him and his pet causes, told CNN this weekend that Kate’s Law is “completely unfair” to millions of illegal immigrants.

The proposed law is named after the late Kate Steinle, who was murdered in San Francisco while going on a walk with her father by an illegal immigrant who had previously been deported five times. The illegal immigrant said he came to San Francisco because he knew it was a “sanctuary city.” If Kate’s Law passes, deported illegal immigrants who are caught re-entering the country would be sentenced to a mandatory five-year federal prison term.

Ramos, though, insisted that such a law is “completely unfair” to the millions of illegal immigrants in the country.

“I think it is unfair that because one undocumented immigrant killed a wonderful human being that all immigrants are being blamed for that killing,” he said. “It is so unfair… it is as unfair as if we were to criticize all white men in the United States for what happened in that theater in Aurora, Colorado.”

Ramos said his “condolences go to the families of those two Americans who have been killed recently by undocumented immigrants” before again stressing that “it is unfair to stereotype a community… the Hispanic community or the immigrant community.” He said it is “completely unfair to criticize millions of people for what one or two people have done.”

Despite evidence that makes his assertion far from conclusive, Ramos also continued to insist that immigrants (Ramos never said illegal immigrants when referring to crime rates) commit fewer crimes than those born in the U.S.

Mexican Fugitive Wanted for Felony Sex Assault Caught Re-entering US by Train

A Mexican fugitive wanted for felony sex assault was caught re-entering the United States on Friday. US Customs and Border Protection caught Roberto Garcia Ledezma attempting to reach the US on a train.
Breaking 911 reported:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Calexico downtown port of entry apprehended a 35-year-old fugitive with an outstanding felony warrant for sexual assault who attempted to sneak into the United States by hiding on a railcar on Friday.

“This apprehension highlights the fact that none of our inspections are routine,” said Calexico Area Port Director Billy Whitford. “Each and every day the men and women of U.S. Customs and Border Protection perform their duties realizing this; our mission is to protect our borders and keep our communities safe.”

The incident occurred shortly before 4:45 a.m. on August 28, when CBP officers at the downtown port noticed Roberto Garcia Ledezma standing on the side of an incoming commercial railcar that was destined for the U.S.

When officers with the port’s Anti-Terrorism Contraband Enforcement Team approached Garcia Ledezma, he jumped from the train and attempted to enter the country on foot. An officer managed to apprehend Garcia Ledezma, and escorted him to a secure location for further review.

SHOCK POLL: 59% of Americans Support Trump on Deportation of Illegal Aliens

When Donald Trump proposed mandatory deportation of illegal aliens, pundits and politicians on both sides of the political aisle were appalled. But on this issue it looks like Trump has the public on his side.

The fire from the right was almost as fierce as that from the left. “It’s not conservative and it’s not realistic and it does not embrace American values,” said Jeb Bush.

Sen. Lindsey Graham called it “absolute gibberish.”

Conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer called the idea “crackpot” and “morally obscene.”

But the prize for overheated rhetoric goes to Hillary Clinton, who said Trump wants to “literally pull people out of their homes and their workplaces, round them up, put them, I don’t know, in buses, boxcars, in order to take them across our border.”

So what do these folks say about the fact that the majority of Americans back Trump on this?

The latest IBD/TIPP Poll asked 913 adults coast to coast if they “support or oppose mandatory deportation of illegal immigrants in the U.S.”

Not surprisingly, 87% of Trump supporters back the proposal.

What’s surprising is that 59% of the overall public does as well. Mandatory deportation gets majority support in all age groups except 18-24, every income group, among both women and men, at every level of educational achievement, and in rural, urban and suburban regions.

More interesting still is the fact that 64% of independents and 55% of moderates support deportation.

Kate Steinle’s Parents Sue Local, Federal Agencies: “We’re Mad as Hell and Not Going to Take It Anymore!”

On July 1, 2015, illegal immigrant criminal Juan Francisco Sanchez opened fire on Pier 14 in the Embarcadero district in San Francisco, California, shooting 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle in the back.

Kate Steinle died in her father’s arms.

NO ONE from the Obama administration has contacted the Steinle family after she was murdered by an illegal alien in the sanctuary city of San Francisco. And no one attended Kate’s funeral.

Today the Steinle family sued local and federal agencies for the death of her daughter.
Kate’s mother told reporters, “We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore.”

NBC Bay Area reported:

The family of Kate Steinle, who was fatally shot when she was walking along a San Francisco pier in July, plans to file a lawsuit against San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and The Bureau of Land Management holding them responsible for her death.

Authorities say Mexican national Francisco Sanchez, an undocumented immigrant who had been arrested and deported previously, shot Steinle in July while she was walking on the Embarcadero with her father. Her death sparked a national debate about San Francisco’s controversial sanctuary city policy, which offers special protection for undocumented immigrants.

The Steine family — which includes Kate’s parents Jim Steinle and Liz Sullivan and her brother Brad — will be announcing the lawsuit at a press conference on the steps of the San Francisco City Hall Tuesday. They will be joined by their attorneys Frank Pitre, Brian Schnarr and Alison Cordova of Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy.

Since the death of their daughter, Jim Steinle and Liz Sullivan have become activists demanding justice for their daughter. “Everyone can’t keep saying this is the way it is — it isn’t the way it has to be. We have to stand up and say we’re mad as hell we’re not going to take it anymore,” Sullivan said.
