The particular genius of the constitution is that it makes no permanent rule other than it’s faith in the wisdom of ordinary people to govern themselves. Our founding fathers were pompous middle aged white farmers but they were also great men because they knew the one thing that all great men should know … that they didn’t know everything. They knew they were going to make mistakes but they made sure to leave a way to correct them. Americans want a government of listeners not lecturers, a government of citizens not royalty, a government that can change not stand still. Regardless of political affiliation, the president isn’t an elected king, no matter how many bombs he can drop, wars he can start, or legislation he can force upon the American people. Even though most politicians would have you think otherwise, he is supposed to be a servant of the people. Not a mouthpiece for the latest trend on capitol hill. Any president who assumes the title of the most powerful person in the world should not forget the reason why they are. It is because of the people of this great land with their blood, sweat, tears and sacrifice why you have a pedestal high enough for the whole world to hear. It is not your voice we want to hear cross your lips, it is ours. This land that champions it’s self of being the most diverse and free nation on earth that acts as a shining city upon a hill is slowly being smothered by those who believe that it is their right to slander and defile anyone who differs with the vision they have of what America is or should be. 9/11 was one of the darkest and most brilliant moments that this country has ever witnessed. Dark in a sense of lives lost and brilliant in the fortitude and compassion that Americans felt for America and for individual Americans. On that day I witnessed an America I had never seen before in my life time. An America that stood up with one voice and shouted with conviction what this country would and would not tolerate. The political rankness in this country is to the point where it is the darkest this country has ever known. And in that darkness it is easy for people to forget what it means to be American. People forget that the ones who have created this foul divisiveness are the same people who think that they know what’s best for you and yours and are betting that you will do nothing to stop them. It is time for the America that has seen us through the best and worst of times to stand up and be herd. Let your leaders, whether on capitol hill or in the white house, know that their aspirations of ideological bliss don’t include you and that the only bliss they should be searching for is freedom and justice for your family and the world.
Thanks for joining We The People USA. This site was created to keep people informed about all the issues stemming from the 2008 election and general issues that affect our every day lives. We're now in the processes of organizing State Action groups to meet with elected officials, agency representatives and other citizens within your state and community. This initiative is new and more information about the activities we are planning will be coming soon. We have been working with several like-minded groups over the last several months who are already organizing on a State and Local level, so please use this link to locate your State's Action Group and join other members in your state as we work towards taking back our Country.
In addition to our own groups, we are working with other patriotic organizations in the freedom movement to build a United Coalition. This would allow all groups/organizations to come together under one umbrella organization. I have created a specific group on this site for this effort called the United Coalition of We The People USA. If you haven't heard about the Coalition, please take the time to read more about it in Welcome/FAQ Letter that I have prepared. And, if you already belong to other social networks or organizations, please help us get the message out about our State initiatives and the United Coalition.
I encourage every member on this site to be active in posting their thoughts and opinions. If you think this site has value, please spread the word by clicking the "Invite" button on the top, just inside the banner, so you can email others on your contact list and ask them to become members.
On this site, you will find is a Member Reference Center under our Forum tab which has a ton of information if you are searching for the best way to contact your elected officials and government agencies.
If you're interested in following the Presidential eligibility lawsuits or the electorate actions that transpired, we have groups following that too. Again, there are plenty groups to join, so please check out the Groups page and do a quick search.
This site also has a live chat feature. To learn how to use the Chat feature, click here. And, if you are active in any outside initiatives, you can post your latest Event on the Events page or if you host any Radio Shows, Conference Calls or Meetings, you can also post them there too, or in the Forum section under the appropriate catagory.
Here, anyone can write a Blog article and all members are allowed to comment on anything that is posted. Please search for the blog article "Members, Please Remember To Mind Your Manners," if you are not sure about blogging etiquette.
If you click the links at the top, just inside the banner, you'll see that some tabs have sub-tabs which link to articles, news and videos. We even have a TV Player under the Videos tab, and while you're clicking around, be sure to check out the WTPUSA Video Playlist and Forum section.
So, please make yourself at home and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Welcome again and thanks for helping "preserve our Republic."
