Sen. John McCain offers dark view of Middle East, GOP presidential race

William V Theobald, The Arizona Republic 8:46 a.m. MST December 2, 2015

WASHINGTON – Sen. John McCain on Wednesday offered a mostly dark view of the Middle East and urged the Obama administration to put forth a strategy to deal with Syria and the terrorist Islamic State group.

“We’ve got two choices, my friends. We either attack them there or they attack us here,” he said of terrorists.

Speaking to reporters at a breakfast sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor, McCain also indirectly criticized the front-runner in the Republican presidential campaign but also praised some of the candidates and pledged his support for the party’s nominee.

During the weekend, McCain called for sending 10,000 U.S. ground troops to the Middle East as part of a multinational force of 100,000. Wednesday, he said the number of troops is not as important as the Obama administration first articulating a strategy for dealing with terrorists, Syria and the increasing influence of Iran in Iraqi affairs.

He said it would take presidential leadership to convince a skeptical American public – and Congress – of the need to send U.S. ground troops. Air strikes alone, McCain said, are not enough.

The good news, McCain said he learned on a recent trip to the area, is that the flow of new terrorist fighters coming to the Middle East had been slowed and the numbers being killed had increased.

On the GOP presidential race, McCain tiptoed around direct criticism of front-runner Donald Trump. But he said the Republican nominee “cannot alienate the Hispanic voters and expect to win a general election."

“Do the math,” he said.

Trump has generated controversy with some of his statements about Hispanics, particularly those in the country illegally. McCain said he worries that a weak presidential nominee will drag down the party’s congressional candidates. McCain is up for re-election next fall.

Still, he said he was a loyal Republican who will support the GOP nominee.

He called on GOP candidates to respond to audience members at events who make racist or sexist comments.

“You have to repudiate that,” said McCain, who  during his own 2008 presidential campaign rebutted audience members who made personal attacks on Barack Obama.

“You have to do what is right,” McCain said.

Letter: McCain quote sums up what’s wrong with U.S.

So, asked about Donald Trump's qualifications for the job of commander-in-chief, our good Sen. John McCain says he thinks voters deserve more specifics rather than the platitudes Trump hands out, which have nothing to do with seriously addressing problems the president would face.

Then, when asked if he would support Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton, McCain responds: "I vote for the Republican nominee, obviously. I am a loyal Republican."

What he's saying is even if Trump were Elmer Fudd and Clinton Mother Teresa, good-old Elmer would still get his vote.

The two-party system is sinking like the Titanic and taking we Americans down with it. It does not benefit average citizens.

The perspective of Democrats and Republicans alike could be stated three ways: (Nos. 1 and 2 are interchangeable. No. 3 is not; it's always on the bottom of the list.)

1. Always vote for and support my party, no matter what.

2. Do whatever benefits me — be it power, money or position.

3. Oh, and if time permits, do whatever is good for the country. McCain has shown a good example of that kind of thinking.

McCain is losing in the polls at the moment because everyone in Arizona knows hes a democrat in sheep's clothing. I sure hope he losses this time around I'm tired of hearing him cry about how dumb voters are.

With you on that. And he was why my husband wouldn't vote for him in The Presidential election.

John McCain — The Insane Traitor Who Masquerades as an American Hero

It looks like John McCain‘s remarks about Donald Trump supporters being crazies has backfired on him big time. Now McCain’s life is being dissected piece by piece, beginning with his war record, outbursts of angry insanity, to his overall anti-American tenure asSenator of Arizona.

Seemingly, McCain has always been a traitor to his country, beginning with his stint in Viet Nam, where he was accused by many fellow soldiers of collaborating with the enemy while being held a POW in N. Viet Nam.

Colonel Ted Guy, McCain’s commander during his time as a POW was preparing a case of treason against McCain shortly before President Richard M. Nixon signed a blanketpardon for all returning prisoners of war. Thus, McCain escaped all prospects of prosecution.

John McCain, again, blatantly met with the enemy, rallied for their support, and led the way back in 2012, alongside the Administration when President Obama tried everything in the book to gain approval from Congress to begin bombing the Assad government to help certain rebel factions gain control of Syria. John McCain even went to Syria to meet with the so called rebels to seal a deal, helping them financially with billions of dollars, weapons, and equipment, training by the US military in Jordan, and help on the battlefield. These same insurgents who have various ties to international terrorist organizations, including Al Qaeda, are now known as ISIS, since being able to organize into a massive army via the US help, all compliments of President Obama and Senator John McCain.

Incident after incident of weapons and supplies being mistakenly dropped into ISIS handshave been reported. Make no mistake, these supply and weapons drops are intentional.

Again, McCain is committing treason against his country.

Donald Trump is right: John McCain is no American Hero—he is a coward in every respect.

McCain has an impeccable record of being anti-American with every piece of legislation he endorses and writes.

McCain does not support war veterans.

McCain is anti-second amendment.

McCain supports an open border policy.

John McCain also has his POW records sealed, which is not consistent with someone proud of their record.

John McCain supports almost every bill that comes along the pike that is bad for the American people and for the country in general.

Senator McCain has also been wrestling with insanity since the public has known him, with angry outbursts, foul language, and rants. This, along with his general anti-Americanism are a direct result of the brainwashing he went through during his time as a POW and the guilt he carries around all the time in his subconscious because he aided and abetted the enemy. He has been carrying this around ever since. Definitely not a person who we want in public office making important decisions about our country.

McCain must be on some mega psyche prescription drugs in relation to his mental state,Ambien being admitted to. But many other psychotropic drugs have to be taken also by someone in his psychiatric state.

One thing is clear about John McCain, and that is…he is, and always has been mentally unfit for public office.

A group of almost 200 retired generals, admirals and top military analysts submitted a letter to Congress asking them to reject Barack Obama’s nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran. “The agreement will enable Iran to become far more dangerous, render the Mideast still more unstable and introduce new threats to American interests as well as our allies,” the letter, which was addressed to Republican and Democratic senators and congressmen, stated. They didn’t listen.

Sen. Barbara Mulkowski (D) became the 34th vote the president needed to prevent the Senate from overriding the deal. But the Democrats had some Republican buddies that caved. 8 to be exact.

Now it’s time to blow up their phones and flood them with emails. They have committed TREASON! They should all be fired! Hell, they should all be thrown in PRISON!

HERE ARE THE TRAITORS!

  1. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee

  2. Dan Coats of Indiana

  3. Bob Corker of Tennessee

  4. Jeff Flake of Arizona

  5. John McCain of Arizona

  6. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina

  7. Orrin Hatch of Utah

  8. David Perdue of Georgia

Just today we reported that presidential hopeful Donald Trump exposed a little-known provision of the Iran deal that basically forces the United States to defend IRAN against our good friends Israel!

“You know, there’s something in the Iran deal that people I don’t think really understand or know about, and nobody’s able to explain it, that if somebody attacks Iran, we have to come to their defense,” Trump said on “CNN Tonight” on Tuesday.

“And I’m saying, does that include Israel? And most people say yes, they don’t have an exclusion for Israel. So if Israel attacks Iran, according to that deal, I believe the way it reads that we have to fight with Iran against Israel,” Trump explained.

I had read that a few weeks ago and had posted it on STI.  Thought I might have been mistaken, or gotten a false-positive article. Grin

Now I know that I wasn't wrong. Also, it is has been brought up that Iran has NOT Signed the agreement, notice it's not being called a treaty.n. So it is invalid. Has anyone questioned that? Of course not. Obama's puppet-masters are also those pulling the strings of the Media puppets.
