Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic
By now everyone has seen the outrageous actions concerning the Governor of Virginia being set on using military force, to confiscate legal firearms from law abiding citizens. You have also seen where the people, in a unified and large movement are acting to stop him. They have even have formed County Militias. Maybe every County in America should do the same, it would even benefit the States and Counties as well as the people, if it was done correctly.
Here's a thought:
Nationwide; Organize gun owners, gun shops, gun manufacturers, and get them together to create and organize legitimate Militias in every County in America. The Militias would have to be under the control of the County Governments, made up of unpaid volunteers, but officially organized under County Authority to certify the Militias were regularly training, and were Duly Registered as legitimate militias. For their own protection, the Militias Themselves would have to retain insurance paid for by the dues collected from it's members and specifically collected for that purpose only. Doing that would block all arguments by State and Federal Governments which had ideas about disarming the citizens.
Think about it, the Constitution mentions Well Regulated Militias, well regulated would most likely require a civilian government overview and some sort of regular training at the basic minimum. They would have to have County Charters, and be set up so they could not be conscripted into the National Guard, or come under Federal Control. The members would be responsible to own their own firearms and supply their own ammunition, go to a training meeting as required, it could even be target practice at a local firing range, or just a meeting at the County building, as long as it was sanctioned as training by the County and had basic attendance requirements/regulations.
A County based Official Militia would have other benefits too. If the County Sheriff wanted to increase their training so he could deputize them (under the Posse Comitatus Act) to assist in any disasters that arose. All gun owners would be allowed to join regardless of age, but being a minimum of 18 years old, and legally able to own firearms.Lets face it, based on Virginia, it is clear the Democrats, when they get in power, will do everything they can, including using Military Force, to disarm the Law abiding American Public.
It would benefit the Counties themselves because it would give them a pool of trained and organized volunteers to help if the need arose. It would be legal and untouchable, when done County by County citing the Posse Comitatus Act.

I'll be keeping this info in mind if our nasty new Gov. Tony Earl tries something like that. He will not take away my rights to own and carry a gun with my concealed carry certificate. Seems we also still have open carry, at least it was here years ago. Will be checking it out. Dang it - this was the same argument I made years ago at the Capital -one Senator from the Milwaukee district tried to argue with me - again it was Virginia. I told him that "This Virginia doesn't care what that Virginia wants - I'm keeping my gun rights.." He got very upset - but we and the NRA won. And that same Milwaukee Rep got put in prison a year later - he was a crook.
Virginia,
It's clear the Democrats are coming for our guns under the color of law. They pay no attention to the Constitution or even most laws that restrict their agendas. The only way we can reset is to get Trump reelected and then force an article V states petitioned for amendment convention to impose Term Limits, Balanced budget with severs $ penalties to congress if they do not produce one, expanded clarification of the 2nd Amendment that repeals all federal and state laws and restrictions on private ownership unless a convicted Felon, Pay reductions for Congress and Voter approval for any future pay increases for Congress, Clarification of other Amendments in the Bill of Rights plus penalties for any politician who ignores the restrictions the Bill places on the Government. Plus many other things not thought of yet.
