Unions = Organized Crime

I worked for Oscar Mayer for over 43 years, had to retire because of my mom's health. Anyway, I was not in the union, (office staff), but had some experience with union take overs.  For years and years, Oscar Mayer worked with the union and the workers were very satisfied. Then along came AFL-CIO, Bakers Union. They felt it was time for OM to feel the power of the union. For 2 weeks, we had to walk through the lines, (I helped in the line for 2 days).  The workers, for the most part were very unhappy, they were not backing the union, but had no choice.  This was the reason given by the Union:  Oscar Mayer , it's time you get the message. We control the workers.  (Not their actual words, but was the same idea.) So OM finally became skinned by the union.  Guess what, workers were soon even more unhappy, because of the dues they were forced to pay, and the new restrictions.  Now it is 2016, and guess what. Oscar Mayer after over 133 years In Madison) will be gone in 2017.

2nd example: My husband worked for Red Dot Foods, Inc. You probably have not heard of this company - started in Madison. The chips and popcorn were far better than what Lay and Frito Co were putting out. I worked there for a year - lived 1/2 block from the plant.  Office again. I was there when Frito and Lay company merged; they bought out Henry Mayer's business (his son, with 2 %, his wife with 49% sold out.) Owner thought it was a merger - when he discovered it was not, he committed suicide. Mr. Meyer, was a very nice person and boss.

Shortly after the  merger, my new husband came to work as the potato chip fryer.  While there, the union worked against workers. The steward spent more time in the office, passing on what happened in the membership meetings and the workers were sold out. A year later, Red Dot was gone, Frito-Lay moved on and 9 plants were closed. And oh, the workers were cheated out of their last paychecks.  Where was the union throughout all of this? Nowhere.

Then, the unon pushed for obamacare just as Hillary did before. This meant the unions took Cadillac health care away from members and replaced it with medicare. Single payer is their goal. That only means they can pilfer at will from a so called single payer system. Mafia straight up.
