Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

Huh? No, we voted for Russ Feingold because he promised to help protect 2nd amendment and such. Tammy Baldwin promised to respect veterans, and help with the elderly. We could vote for both. Nope, don't ever encourage anyone to vote Democrat. United we stand America, was not democratic, and neither was Ross Perot. So I'm not carrying this on any further. seems you and my husband are alike. If I tell him it's going to be nice out, he tells me well, it's raining now. And it appears that you and I cannot converse in the same language.
I am not a liberal, not a democrat, not a RINO, I am one who believes in the Constitution and America.
Believe in your choice and pray that we get the best President - not Hillary or Sanders.
You have me confused again, you vote for democrats to protect the constitution when they are the party that pisses on it. And so often says it is a relic we need to abandon because it stands in the way of federal intrusion into all our lives.
Hey DV, I said that we first voted for Feingold and Baldwin when they first ran - I was 23 at the time, and believed their lies. It is now 53 some years since- 53 years of government take over - both parties. Anyway, I have voted against them every time since then. We won against Feingold - Ron Johnson is in and will be again if the votes hold. Guess I'll have to make a chart. (Oh think it was Ralph Nader my husband voted for twice, once instead of Romney. Anyway, enough already. As I said before, whichever GOP wins, I'll vote for, but do not want Rubio or Bush. Worrisome with Rubio. And because we are not party oriented, we actually vote the person. (Except forced to vote party in the primaries). Feb. 18 for us.
So enough about my voting record. That isn't what will change the presidential race.
I sent this letter to Feingold's campaign center, after receiving a Russ Feingold donation request. (I get requests from the Dems, and from the repubs) - of course I didn't get the money nor a response. But I did get another donation request just a week ago. Ron Johnson is getting our votes.
Russ Feingold;
I expect that you will not get a chance to read this letter; your staff will probably throw it away.
Years ago, I donated to your campaign, your first one. As a single mother, with 2 children, also working two jobs, the $90.00 was very hard to share, but I did it. I worked uptown, and discovered your office. I talked to you and came away with a belief that you supported my ideas about most everything – including gun control.
Since then, I’ve been so disgusted with myself for ever believing the misinformation you fed me, especially about gun control. So, I am requesting that you return the donation I gave you, plus interest. Living day by day on Social Security (that is being stolen by Congress), helping to support my daughter, who lost 2 husbands to cancer, and is disabled, with 2 children at home, that money would be a help.
You accuse Ron Johnson of not signing and following the “Badger Pledge – you forget to mention that you aren’t following that yourself. So your signature means absolutely nothing!
Seattle raised the minimum wage to $15.00 and now 700 jobs have been lost. And who loses these jobs – the young men and women, high school, new workers looking for their first job. They work part time at Culvers, McDonalds and go to school. Do you really think they will have jobs if the minimum wage is raised? The jobs will disappear, or more experienced workers will get the jobs and hours will be cut.
As for shutting down the government – wow! Wish they would; by the way, do you believe in murder? Planned Parenthood DOES NOT DO mammograms, or any other women’s healthcare stuff. They do abortions!!! That is murder, the embryo is a baby and that baby also has a right to live.
Student debt crisis: Seems to me that a lot of this is caused by government. And the minimum wage would make it even harder for those who are trying to pay their way through school. Oh, most of these young men and women are from more wealthy homes, we of the middle and lower class can’t afford to send our kids on, unless they can get a McDonalds or Culvers Job. And the welfare ones are being subsidized by the Government! The taxpayers are struggling themselves, and you want them to pay for these more wealthy kids to go to school?
You mention leadership, wonderful. You had been in the Senate a very long time – where was your leadership efforts then? Clinton, Obama, Johnson, Carter, Bush 1 and 2? You were there when Clinton took over our 2nd Amendment rights; you and McCain, with your campaign finance scheme, interfered with our First Amendment rights to speak out. You stopped us little people from expressing ourselves, but allowed the big liberal wigs to continue. And do you think Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are leaders, or what about Obama? I see no leaders there, only those who wish to remain in Congress forever.
Social Security: oh right, it is a Ponzi scheme. Even I know that. After all, my money was taken away from me, and was supposed to guarantee a pension later. And it was not to be taxed, nor was anything said about paying into Medicare. Well, I have to pay taxes, and the last time we got a cost of living was 4 years ago. By the way, where is the money; seems Congress has been leaving IOUs in the pot instead of letting the money be invested. Isn’t that what a Ponzi scheme really is? And you went right along with this for many years.
So send me my money - $90.00, forget the interest; that would be about $75.00 because of the long years you spent in the Senate. Just get it to me soon. I want to use it to support Ron Johnson.
