Hi Biller, I don't know if you will get this in time, but I am working on a meeting Sunday afternoon of CT folk as part of working on grass roots activities. The meeting will be Sun., 1 pm, in North Haven, but I am still trying to nail down the location. Silly, I know, but I wanted to tell you. If you can get back to me soon, try my regular email, metaqubit@aol.com

I wasn't trying to marginalize the efforts of people that want to post blogs and comments. You are right, this is how information is shared. What I attempted to stress is that there is a huge difference between posting blogs and comments and taking coordinated action. Any movement needs both types of individuals. However, at this particular time, the movement requires people that are willing to do research and outreach, which requires more effort that posting information. I agree that Bloggers and commenters are important, but I don't agree that at the beginning of a coordinated movement, they are equally important, unless, of course, the blogging and commenting is pertaining to the Coalition. Thanks for your comment.

There has been lots of talk about Uniting Groups but I have actually taken the initiative to start the process of making it happen. I don't have all the answers, but I think I have a pretty good plan. The number of members is not a great concern to me as many members only have sporatic activity. I am looking to attract members that want to take action. This is quite different form members that only want to post blogs and comments. Now is the time for all groups to rethink their purpose. Do they want to create change or continue to work in isolation and achieve very little? Those that want to organize in a more coordinated fashion are the ones that would add tremendous value to the Coalition. These are the groups I am looking to attract and I am counting on existing members of those groups to be a mouthpiece that promotes the Coaliton.

Hi Biller, thanks for joining We The People USA. This site was created to keep people informed about all the issues stemming from the 2008 election and general issues that affect our every day lives. Please take an active role in posting your thoughts and opinions and help spread the word about this site by clicking the "Invite" button on the top row to email your contact list. On this site, there is a Member Reference Center under our Forum tab which has a ton of information if you are searching for the best way to contact your elected officials and government agencies. If you're interested in following the Electorate actions, they are listed by state under the Groups tab. Just do a quick search by state name. When you get comfortable, please consider joining an existing Group or starting your own Group.

We also have a live Chat feature that allows you to Chat with online members. And, if you are active in any outside initiatives, you can post your latest Event on the Events page. Anyone here can write a Blog article and all members are allowed to comment on anything that is posted. If you click the links in the top row, just inside the WeThePeopleUSA banner, you'll see that some tabs have sub-tabs.

There are lots of things here to keep you busy, we have a collection of great articles, video questions, news, a WTPUSA Video Playlist and a TV Player, not to mention our Forums and Blogs. So, please click around and make yourself at home and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Welcome again and thanks for helping "preserve our Republic."
