According to an article on Count Us Out (h/t ladyhawkke) a law firm in Chicago with ties to Obama had already discussed the "natural born citizen" issue as far back as 2006.

I have been doing research about running for California Senator in 2010 when Boxers term runs out. I am going to start a PAC to get myself elected. I truly believe we need to get like minded people elected and to do that we have to do it one state at a time. I have made the promise should I get elected the first thing I do will be to expose Obama for what he is and that is an Usurper. I will go to the public to push my case and also as a safeguard. I belong to the site Restore the Republic. On this site I was asked to start a local militia set up the way our founding fathers thought it should work. They did not envision a militia being made up of National Guardsmen but by free citizens under a nominated Captain. The group meets twice a month to drill and prepare. Each member is to provide a weapon, ammunition and a knapsack for provisions. The militia exists when a government oversteps its authority or when that government becomes a tyranny. Obama still has not provided his birth certificate proving he is eligible to be POTUS. Until he does he should be considered a usurper and is to be opposed. Would you be amenable to something like that?
