Why is there a mad rush to pass legislation by a lame-duck Congress? While it appears that they are merely accelerating the pace to ensure that the programs they so vehemently believe in are securely engraved into legislation before their terms are up, in actual fact there is much more to the "rush to legislate." It is fear that drives them, but what exactly are they afraid of?

Would anyone care to FOIA the minutes of the Obama Blair House meeting with 20 corporate chiefs, " a mostly friendly crowd of CEOs (there wasn't an oil man or a health-insurace boss among them) (to) validate Obama's pro-business bona fides?" If North Korea had been the one that had obtained the Wikileak documents and released them to the world, do you really believe anyone would be questioning the NORK motives or clamoring about "Freedom of Speech?"
