'Boy' Scouts Demand Condoms for Global Gathering.
 05/22/18 TheBlaze by: Sarah Taylor

Leadership of the Boy Scouts has mandated that condoms be “readily and easily accessible” for next year’s 24th World Scout Jamboree, which is scheduled to be held in the mountains of West Virginia from July 21 to Aug. 1, 2019.
According to an announcement on the event’s page, “For the first time, a world jamboree will be hosted by three national Scout organizations: Scouts Canada, Asociación de Scouts de México, and the Boy Scouts of America.”
John Stemberger, Florida Family Policy Council president and chairman of the board for the Christian scouting organization Trail Life USA, told Charisma News:
In light of the mandatory condom policy, it is not clear how far down the rabbit hole the Boy Scouts will continue to fall.

With the addition of condoms and alcohol, the World Jamboree is starting to sound more like a 1960s Woodstock festival rather than a campout that parents would want to send their children to!

All of this should be deeply disturbing to the churches that are chartering Boy Scout Troops.

These policies present a clear youth protection problem that the BSA absolutely refuses to recognize.

The fact that they are requiring that condoms be “readily accessible” and are communicating this to everyone—including youth participants—shows that the BSA is both anticipating and facilitating/condoning

sexual conduct between minors at this event.

These policies are both outrageous and completely irresponsible!

PRICELESS! This throws a MASSIVE wrench in liberals’ MS-13 aren’t 'Animals’.
5/22/18
Well, so much for MS-13 not being made up of “animals”:
MS-13 gang member nicknamed 'Animal' sentenced to 40 years.
We can’t wait to see liberals spin that one.

Local man just taking a photo angry at NYPD for crushing his dream of working in child care

Meet Ignorant Kelvin Rodriguez, 21, of the Bronx.

Bronx man poses for a picture with a gun in front of an NYPD police car and then wonders why he gets stopped.

Did he NOT hear about the officers who were murdered while sitting in their car?

Young Kelvin went viral on Friday after he posed for picture holding a gun next to an NYPD patrol car. For real:

Kelvin was later arrested after the NYPD saw the photo and now he’s mad that this might put his future in child care in jeopardy. From the Daily News

“I was about to become a teacher’s assistant, but this has messed me up,” Kelvin Rodriguez, 21, told the Daily News outside his home in the Westchester Square section.

Rodriguez said he fears his arrest cost him a shot at a job at Brightside Academy child care center on White Plains Road.

“I have all my certificates,” Rodriguez said, displaying papers that said he was trained to cope with children suffering from shaken baby syndrome and to look out for child abuse.

“They’re making me out to be a terrorist … I’m not a monster, we got nothing",” he said.

WATCH: ‘Anti-immigrant’ head of ICE reminds Congress who makes immigration law.

This clip from The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra really doesn’t need much introduction, but it’s well worth a watch.

At a House hearing on Central American immigrants and border security, Thomas Homan, acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, interrupts the questioning to remind legislators exactly who makes the law that he swore to enforce.

“No one on this panel is anti-immigrant,” he tells Rep. Nanette Barragán. “We’re law enforcement officers enforcing the law that you all enacted.”

Seriously... giving ICE a hard time for enforcing laws?? That's how out of control these ridiculous liberals are!

JOURNALISM: White House reporters keeping tabs on sinkhole, clouds, bag of wet socks.

We’re old enough to remember slow news days, but there’s something really strange going on with the White House press corps lately.

Playboy’s White House reporter and CNN analyst Brian Karem, noted some clouds over the White House Tuesday.

However, more reporters had their eyes on the ground, keeping track of a growing sinkhole outside the press briefing room:   CBS reports that the sinkhole has been “confirmed by groundskeepers.”

This week I’ve been observing a sinkhole on the White House North Lawn, just outside the press briefing room, growing larger by the day.  Perhaps due to the 'swampy weather' in DC lately.  There’s a sinkhole in the North Lawn of the White House.

Perhaps the most bizarre update from the White House press corps today came from the Daily Caller’s Saagar Enjeti, who noted that a bag of wet socks he spotted in the White House briefing room last Thursday was still hanging around. *** GREAT REPORTING! ***

Even CNN’s Jim Acosta managed to work a sly dig at the Trump administration into his tweet about the sinkhole. “Swampy weather,” get it?

‘HAVE AT IT’! California Dems are all set to put the FINAL NAIL in their state’s coffin.
  5/22/18 by Sarah D.

Mexifornia’s not circling the drain fast enough! They’ve gotta kick this thing into high gear:

Mexifornia’s proposal to offer full health coverage to illegal aliens is one of the most daring examples yet of blue-state Democrats thumbing their nose at President Trump.

A very expensive way to "thumb your nose"! What could possibly go wrong?

More from Politico:

Mexifornia is poised to become the first state in the nation to offer full health coverage to undocumented adults even as the Trump administration intensifies its crackdown by separating families at the border.

The proposal — which would build on Gov. Jerry Brown’s 2015 decision to extend health coverage to all children, regardless of immigration status — is one of the most daring examples yet of blue-state Democrats thumbing their nose at President Donald Trump as they pursue diametrically opposed policies, whether on immigration, climate change, legalized marijuana or health care.

“Mexifornia has never waited for the federal government, or for a political climate, to be able to take leadership on a whole host of issues,” state Sen. Ricardo Lara, author of the state Senate bill to extend Medicaid coverage to all adults, told POLITICO.

"It seems to me astounding that Mexifornia could consider an expansion like this at this particular moment,” said Paul Ginsburg, director of the USC-Brookings Schaeffer Initiative for Health Policy. He described the plan as “fiscally very dangerous” given Mexifornia’s fragile long-term financial outlook and the potential negative effects of the Republican tax overhaul on the state’s budget.

Well, it’s not that astounding … not if Mexifornia Democrats’ main objective is “thumbing their nose at President Donald Trump.” Fiscal responsibility isn’t even on their radar.

Gun Control Group Virtue Signals With Full-Page Letter To Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.

  5/22/18 Beth Baumann

A group of gun control advocating students took out a full-page ad in the Houston Chronicle, which was paid for by Everytown for Gun Safety, The Hill reported. The ad was a personal letter to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) detailing why the students demand stricter gun control laws.
Student activists in Texas write open letter to Gov. Greg Abbott, TX. as full-page ad in Houston Chronicle:
“Do you think that the children who were shot in class this week died because they hadn’t prayed enough?”
“We are dying on your watch. What will you do about it?” Kolten Parker  5/22/18

Here's what the letter said:

Dear Governor Abbott,

Our job is to be good students. Your job is to keep us safe. You have failed at your job.

Like so many politicians cozy with the NRA, you have steadfastly opposed any reasonable measures that might protect us from gun violence.

Instead, you've signed dangerous policies to force public colleges in Texas to allow guns on campus and make it legal to openly carry firearms in public.

You've continued to push the notion that guns everywhere for everyone make us safer. By that logic, should we be among the safest states in the nation?

In that past, you've tweeted that you were embarrassed that Texas was second in the nation on gun sales—and that Texans needed to step up and buy more guns!

A few months later, you said that gun violence was happening because of "hearts without God." Do you think that the children who were shot in class this week died because they hadn't prayed enough? What about the 26 who were killed while they were worshiping in Sutherland Springs? Do you think they are to blame, rather than yourself and other politicians who refuse to allow even a meaningful discourse on reasonable gun violence prevention policies?

We were happy to hear your mention background checks and responsible gun storage when you spoke on Friday. But here's the thing: Words only matter if they're followed by action.

And you have no track record of fighting for anyone other than the NRA.

The majority of gun owners support laws that disarm domestic abusers or require a criminal background check on all gun sales. Do you?

Why is our safety less important than the check you get from the NRA? We know that common sense gun laws make us safe.

Since January 2009, Texas has experienced at least 20 mass shootings—more than any other state in the country. Do you think that a culture of guns everywhere and our lax gun laws might have something to do with that?

You've said that straying from Jesus is the cause of gun violence. Well, that this be your "come to Jesus" moment. Children are dying. We're being shot and killed in our classrooms, homes, movie theaters—even as we walk home from school. We have become collateral damage in a country whose lawmakers refuse to stand up to people who just want to sell more guns—regardless of the body count.

We appreciate your thoughts and prayers, but without policy change, this crisis will not end.

And what we're asking for isn't unreasonable. In fact, most Texans, gun owners and even NRA members support common sense gun laws.

You've met with the NRA in the past, and just a few weeks ago you spoke at the organization's annual meeting. We'd like a chance to speak with you, too. To tell you how ti feels to go to school everyday terrified that we won't come home. To ask you to be brave enough to stand up for public safety instead of pandering ot the gun lobby, and work with Texans who, frankly, are terrified.

We are dying on our watch. What will you do about it?

The ad comes days after the shooting in Santa Fe, Texas that left 10 dead. Abbott had said he would hold a roundtable to discuss options for how to prevent school shootings.

"We need to do more than just pray for the victims and the families," Abbott said following the shooting. "It's time in Texas that we take action to step up and make sure this tragedy is never repeated ever again in the history of the state of Texas!"

Abbott's roundtable took place on Tuesday.

DHS Secretary To Democratic Senator: Fighting Illegal Immigration Is Not A 'Philosophy,' It's The Law! 05/9/18 Matt Vespa
DHS Secretary To Democratic Senator: Fighting Illegal Immigration Is Not A 'Philosophy,' It's The Law

Call it what you want, but this is a window into how far left Democrats have gone on immigration?

Fighting illegal immigration is a philosophy? That’s what Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) said in a brief, but heated exchange with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, who testified before the Senate Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee yesterday.

"Thank you Senator Tester and Sen. Capito for hosting me at the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee today to discuss the budget and priorities, including the need for additional resources at the border." Sec. Kirstjen Nielsen

Sen. Murray wanted to know if DHS was exploring alternative methods other than detention to save taxpayer dollars concerning pregnant women who are caught at the border. Nielsen said that they utilize ankle bracelets, but added that if a pick up repeat offenders of those crossing into the U.S. illegally, or have been charged with a crime worthy of prosecution, they turn them over the marshals. That ends any option for so-called alternative methods to detention. It’s when the DHS secretary reiterated that it’s illegal to enter the U.S. illegally that Murray got snippy.

Nielsen explained that no matter the method, the U.S. government will deport those caught in the United States illegally.

Murray interrupted her, cutting in, “I know what your philosophy is.”

It’s not a philosophy!” Nielsen responded. “It’s a law Congress passed!”

Nielsen also got into an exchange wit Sen. Pat Leahy.

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), the ranking member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, accused Nielsen of failing to follow up as promised to questions about a controversial report asserting that the 402 of 549 people convicted of international terrorism in the U.S. were foreign-born.

“It’s been four months, even though you stated you would get back to me, so let me try again,” Leahy began, before diving into questions about the report.

After Nielsen reiterated a commitment to follow up with him, Leahy interrupted her:

Oh come on. It’s been months and months and months,” he said.

Nielsen said she did not have data on how many of the 402 foreign-born persons in the Homeland Security report came from countries listed in President Trump’s travel ban, nor how many came to the United States through the diversity visa lottery, which the Trump administration has framed as a security threat.

“I do not have that information with me today, sir,” Nielsen said.

It’s no wonder why this issue catapulted Donald Trump to the top of the GOP primary field in 2016, and into the White House!

Tennessee Will Ban Sanctuary Cities!

 5/21/18   Lauretta Brown

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam (R) announced Monday that he will allow a ban on sanctuary cities to become law without his signature.

The ban, which passed the state House and Senate by veto-proof numbers in April, requires local law enforcement officials to comply with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement requests to hold immigrants for purposes of deportation. It would not take effect until January 2019.

"I think the best thing for the state to do with this decision is to move on from it," Haslam told reporters Monday.

Haslam decided against signing the measure because he believed that doing so would be tacitly admitting that there was an issue with sanctuary cities in Tennessee. He said he also didn’t want to veto the measure because that would prolong the debate on it.

He explained that, despite the debate and controversy surrounding the proposal, it doesn’t change much for the state.

"We spent a lot of time looking at what are the legal ramifications of this,” he said, “and we became convinced that really other than expressly stating what was already allowed (it) didn't change (much)."

The American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee executive director Hedy Weinberg claimed Monday that “by allowing this bill to become law, the governor has ensured that thousands of Tennesseans will be forced to live in the shadows, in fear of reporting when they are victims or witnesses to crimes and undermining local law enforcement’s ability to use their discretion and resources in the way that they believe best protects public safety in their local community.”
