Twice Deported Illegal Alien Raped Girl In Louisiana

WEST MONROE, LA (MyArkLaMiss.com) – Eliezer Merino-Tetlactle, 25, of Mexico, pleaded guilty today before U.S. District Judge Terry Doughty to one count of re-entry of a removed alien, U.S. Attorney David C. Joseph announced.

According to the guilty plea, West Monroe police arrested Merino-Tetlactle on August 23, 2018 for carnal knowledge of a juvenile, computer aided solicitation of a minor, possession of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

His background check showed that he was an illegal alien who had been previously removed from the United States twice.

Merino-Tetlactle faces two years in prison, one year of supervised release and a $250,000. United States Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations and the West Monroe Police Department investigated the case.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Leon H. Whitten is prosecuting the case.

WHAT CRISIS?...PREVIOUSLY DEPORTED KILLER AND RAPIST BOTH CAUGHT RE-ENTERING THE COUNTRY!

 3/5/19

U.S. Customs and Border Protection press release…

TUCSON, AZ – Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents, in separate incidents over the weekend, apprehended previously deported illegal aliens with substantial criminal records.

Saturday morning, agents assigned to the Casa Grande Station arrested a 47-year-old Honduran national, Pedro Flores-Ramirez, after he illegally entered the country.

Processing agents at the Casa Grande Station conducting a records check discovered Flores was previously convicted of numerous crimes in Los Angeles, California. Flores served lengthy prison sentences for assault with intent to rape, kidnapping and two separate narcotics charges stemming from a 2009 arrest.

In a separate incident, Douglas Station agents arrested Hector Pulido-Cruz, a Mexican national, who entered the country illegally Sunday evening. Agents discovered Pulido was convicted in Chilton County, Alabama, for vehicular homicide and was sentenced to six years in prison in 2008.

Both men are currently being held in federal custody pending prosecution for criminal immigration violations.

All persons apprehended by the Border Patrol undergo criminal history checks using biometrics to ensure illegal aliens with criminal histories are positively identified.

Three Times the Illegal Immigration of 2017 Levels at Current Rate.

 3/6/19 John Binder

Illegal immigration this year is on pace to more than triple the levels of just two years ago, new projections reveal.

In the month of February, there were more than 76,000 illegal border crossings and inadmissible foreign nationals, the most in this month in 12 years — a record for President Trump’s administration.

Princeton Policy Advisor Steven Kopits now projects that illegal border crossings for this calendar year will be more than three times what they were in 2017 and nearly double last year’s total crossings. The projection predicts there will be more than 840,000 illegal border crossings this year, though Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen predicts about 900,000 crossings.
“Crossings are now clearly at crisis levels, and the pressure will be on Democrats in Congress to tighten asylum laws if they intend to hold the House in 2020,” Kopits notes. “I would note that migrants are also certainly aware of this, and therefore apprehension numbers could rise substantially heading into the summer months as migrants rush to cross the border before new legislation can be prepared.”

While Nielsen receives praise from her close allies in the Washington, D.C. beltway and political establishment, her tenure has been marked with overseeing the largest illegal immigration surge not seen since former President George W. Bush.

During obuma, border apprehensions at the southern border floated between more than 700,000 in Fiscal Year 2008 and dipped as low as about 327,000 apprehensions in Fiscal Year 2011. Since Fiscal Year 2017, when illegal immigration dropped to about 303,000 apprehensions, border crossings have continuously increased.

The vast majority of voters say a border wall would be effective in stopping illegal immigration, though that has not equated to progress on constructing new barriers at the border.

Only about 40 miles of replacement fencing have been built since Trump’s election, although about 124 miles of new wall and replacement fencing has been approved by Congress.

This month, about 14 miles of new wall is expected to be constructed in southern California and some new portions of a wall have been constructed in the El Paso, Texas region.

Border Arrests Reach Crisis Point.

 3/5/19

The Border Patrol has arrested a record number of illegals at the border, a high of 70,000. The Free Beacon reports:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents apprehended more than 70,000 people in February, the majority unaccompanied children or families, the agency announced Tuesday.

This figure is the highest monthly total at any point in at least the past five years, lending credence to President Donald Trump’s ongoing claim that America is experiencing a “crisis” at its southwestern border

“We are currently facing a humanitarian and national security crisis along our southwest border. The vast increases in families and children coming across our border, in larger groups and in more remote areas, presents a unique challenge to our operations and facilities, and those of our partners, including the NGOS who work to assist these individuals and families throughout their immigration proceedings,” said CBP Commissioner Kevin K. McAleenan.

More than 36,000 “family units” (i.e., children and parent/guardians traveling together) were apprehended trying to cross the southwestern border between ports of entry; a further 4,000 were apprehended at points of entry. That total means that more family units attempted to cross the border illegally in February than at any point since the government began tracking the relevant data.

If arrests are so high, it must mean that overall border crossings are reaching new heights. Security issues in  Latin America, coupled with weak support of border enforcement in Congress, make the border a dangerous area that needs Congressional funding if Americans are to be kept safe.

200 Cases of Mumps Confirmed in Texas Migrant Detention Centers.

 3/4/19 bob price

Texas health officials report that nearly 200 people contracted mumps in migrant detention facilities located across the state so far this fiscal year.

Officials with the Texas Department of State Health Services stated that 186 people in migrant detention centers located in Texas had confirmed cases of mumps. The cases impacted migrant adults and minors as well as detention center workers, the Texas Tribune reported.

There have been “no reported transmission (of mumps) to the community,” State Health Services Spokeswoman Lara Anton told the news outlet. She said the state health agency is not aware of the vaccination status of migrant adults and children who enter the United States. However, “all unaccompanied minors are vaccinated when they are detained.”

Mumps cases reached a high of 191 in 2016, officials stated. This was the highest number in 22 years.

Detention center operators are required to report illnesses that occur among their migrant population and those affecting personnel. Required reporting includes cases of mumps, measles, chicken pox, HIV/AIDS, tetanus, hepatitis, and tuberculosis, officials said.

While migrants are screened for illness or mental health issues upon their initial intake, symptoms of mumps can take up to 25 days to appear. U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement officials previously told Breitbart News that families can only be held for 20 days without a hearing.

“We go in and take the measures that we need to protect against further spread,” City of Laredo, Texas, Health Department Director Hector Gonzalez told the Texas Tribune. He said these measures include isolating patients, providing vaccinations, and urging detainees to remember to wash their hands and cover their mouths when coughing.

Dr. David Persse with the Houston Health Department said he confirmed seven cases of mumps on February 9. That number has since increased to eleven, he said. “It tells me the isolation and quarantine efforts are not being done as diligently as it could be done,” the doctor stated.

“Let’s say [the warden] does everything exactly right. He’s still at risk,” Persse said. This is due to the situation where migrants are transferred in from other facilities where they could have been exposed and their symptoms have not yet manifested.

President Donald Trump will travel to the Southern border on Thursday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed on Monday.

“President Donald Trump will travel to the Southern border on Thursday to meet with those on the frontlines of the national security and humanitarian crisis,” Sanders wrote on Twitter.

Trump first expressed interest in visiting the border in January during a Christmas Day interview with reporters.

“President Donald Trump will travel to the Southern border on Thursday to meet with those on the frontlines of the national security and humanitarian crisis,” Sanders wrote on Twitter.

Trump first expressed interest in visiting the border in January during a Christmas Day interview with reporters.

“You’ll see it because in January I’m going there,” Trump said at the time. “We’re almost having a groundbreaking – it’s such a big section. It’s probably the biggest section we’ll get out. So while we’re fighting over funding, we’re also building.”

The White House announced news of the border trip as the partial government shutdown continues into its 17th day, with no end in sight. Democrats continue to block any funding bill for the government that includes Trump’s requested money for border security.

Space Force One Step Closer To Becoming a Reality.

 12/18/18

President Trump has officially stood up the US Space Command, an interservice combatant command that will coordinate all military space activities. Fox News reports:

That’s one small signature for President Trump, one giant leap for the “space force.”

President Trump on Tuesday signed a memorandum that officially established the United States’ interstellar armed forces. The news was announced by Vice President Mike Pence during a speech Tuesday morning at the SpaceX Rocket Launch event in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

“Under his leadership the United States is taking steps to ensure that American national security is as dominant in space as it is here on Earth,” Pence said. “It is my privilege to announce that today, President Trump will direct the Department of Defense to establish a combatant command that will oversee all our military activities in space.”

Pence added: “The U.S. Space Command will integrate space capabilities across all branches of the military. It will develop the space doctrine tactics, techniques and procedures that will enable our war fighters to defend our nation in this new era.”

This is only the first step in the reorganization of space forces however. A true “space force”, either its own military department or under the Department of the Air Force, will be the next objective to develop a sound footing in the next battle domain.

Mike Pence’s Promise to Conservatives.

 3/1/19

Mike Pence took the stage at CPAC on Friday, promising conservatives that socialism will never take root in America. PJ Media reports:

OXON HILL, Md. — On Friday, Vice President Mike Pence addressed the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) with a powerful denunciation of socialism, repeating President Donald Trump’s declaration that America “will never be a socialist country.”

“Today Democrats openly advocate an economic system that has impoverished millions of people across the world. Under the guise of Medicare-for-all and a Green New Deal, Democrats are embracing the same tired economic theories that have impoverished nations and stifled the liberties of millions,” Pence declared.

Citing Sen. bernie sanders (I-Vt.), a Democratic candidate for the presidency in 2020, Pence noted that “it’s not just him.”

He said the socialism advocated by Democrats would not be anything “new,” but rather “more of the same: more taxes, more spending, more government, and less freedom. Socialism is on the rise, and it is incumbent on every freedom loving American to make sure it never taints our free system of government."
