Trump To Review Case Of Green Beret Charged With Killing Taliban.

12/16/18 Saagar Enjeti | White House Correspondent
President Donald Trump will review the case of a former U.S. Army Green Beret charged with the premeditated murder of an Afghan while serving in 2010, he tweeted Sunday morning.
"At the request of many, I will be reviewing the case of a “U.S. Military hero,” Major Matt Golsteyn, who is charged with murder. He could face the death penalty from our own government after he admitted to killing a Terrorist bomb maker while overseas."
The case centers around former U.S. Army Major Matt Golsteyn, who captured a suspected Taliban bomb-maker in 2010. Golsteyn and his men said the captured bomb-maker refused to cooperate with interrogators and that under their rules of engagement they had to release him.

Golsteyn said that he and his men suspected the Taliban bomb-maker of masterminding the deaths of U.S. Marines killed the day prior and that a local tribal elder had identified him as a known militant. The former U.S. Army Major later told investigators that he conspired with one of his men to kill the bomb-maker and bury his body.

Golsteyn admitted in a 2016 Fox News interview that he killed the bomb-maker, prompting renewed interest in the case. Following the interview and subsequent re-opening of the investigation the Army charged him with premeditated murder earlier this week.

Golysten’s commander “has determined that sufficient evidence exists to warrant the preferral of charges against him,” a U.S. Army spokesman said Friday, adding “Major Golsteyn is being charged with the murder of an Afghan male during his 2010 deployment to Afghanistan.”

Trump Heads Out In The Cold Rain To Honor The Fallen In Surprise Visit At Arlington National Cemetery.

President Donald Trump made an unannounced visit to Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday to honor America’s fallen as thousands across the country laid wreaths on veterans’ graves.

Trump paid his respects as volunteers for ‘Wreaths Across America‘ waited in long lines to place a Christmas wreath on the tombs of America’s greatest heroes. The event, which is held every December, aims to “remember, honor, and teach” about those who served, and perished, fighting for America’s freedom. In addition to Arlington National Cemetery, Wreaths Across America Day is observed at more than 1,400 cemeteries in all 50 states, as well as at sea and abroad.

The president made the surprise visit to the military cemetery roughly an hour after the wreath-laying event began. He walked through the grounds and viewed firsthand, in the rain and wind, the tributes that were given to America’s veterans.

Trump faced criticism in November for not attending a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on Veterans Day and later admitted that despite attending a memorial service for World War I soldiers in Paris, France, the day earlier, he should have also gone to Arlington on the federal holiday.

“As you know, I just left the day before the American Cemetery, and I probably think — and that was one where it was raining as hard as you can imagine, and I made a speech at the American Cemetery the day before, and I probably —  you know, in retrospect I should have,” Trump said at the time. “I did last year, and I will virtually every year.”

Trump praised "Wreaths Across America organizers and the volunteers" for their dedicated and honorable work in the gloomy weather.

“They do a great job, a really great job!,” Trump said during his visit. “Thank you.”

Trump Increases Arrests of Illegal Alien Hires by 640%.

 12/12/18 by John Binder

President Trump is following through on his “Buy American, Hire America” commitment, surging the arrests of illegal aliens hired by U.S. businesses by more than 640 percent over the last year.

For Fiscal Year 2018, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency increased their worksite enforcement of immigration — going after the U.S. employers who hire illegal aliens over American citizens — their arrests of those illegal alien hires, and the number of investigations they opened.

In Fiscal Year 2018, ICE made nearly 780 criminal arrests and 1,525 administrative worksite-related arrests, a more than 640 percent increase compared to Fiscal Year 2017. Likewise, ICE opened more than 6,800 worksite investigations this year, a more than 300 percent increase compared to the year before.

“Reducing illegal employment helps build another layer of border security, and reduces the continuum of crime that illegal labor facilitates, from the human smuggling networks that facilitate illegal border crossings to the associated collateral crimes, like identity theft, document and benefit fraud and worker exploitation,” ICE official Derek Benner said in a statement.

“Employers who use an illegal workforce as part of their business model put businesses that do follow the law at a competitive disadvantage,” Benner said.

“These laws help protect jobs for U.S. citizens and others who are lawfully employed, reduce the incentive of illegal migration, eliminate unfair competitive advantages for companies that hire an illegal workforce, and ultimately help strengthen public safety and national security,” he said.

The number of worksite audits initiated by ICE totaled nearly 6,000, an increase of about 340 percent from Fiscal Year 2017.

Though criminal indictments and convictions remained relatively steady compared to years past, ICE officials say the numbers will rise, as many cases are pending. So far, 72 managers who hired illegal aliens were indicted this year and 49 managers were convicted of hiring illegal aliens over Americans.

This year, businesses hiring illegal aliens were ordered to pay more than $10.2 million in fines, forfeitures, and restitution.

One Texas company was forced to pay more than $5.5 million after a five-year investigation by ICE revealed their illegal workforce. **** THAT LOOKS LIKE ENOUGH FUNDS TO COMPLETE THE WALL !! ****

ICE Deports Quarter of a Million Illegal Aliens, 6K Gang Members in 2018.

 12/14/18 by John Bender

Illegal Aliens

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency in Fiscal Year 2018 deported more than 256,000 illegal aliens out of the United States, including about 6,000 suspected or known gang members.

Between September 2017 and October 2018, ICE agents deported 95,360 illegal aliens living throughout the interior of the U.S. and 160,725 illegal aliens who were caught by Border Patrol crossing into the country.

Most significant are the number of deportations ICE agents conducted for the more than 95,000 illegal aliens who were living throughout the interior of the country. There are anywhere from 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living across the U.S. at any given time, straining the capacity of ICE.
This year, though, ICE increased deportations of illegal aliens living in the U.S. by more than 45% since resident obuma’s last year in office, when only about 65,000 illegal aliens living in the U.S. were deported.

The number of ICE deportations of convicted criminal illegal aliens and those with pending criminal charges has increased about 11.5% since Fiscal Year 2016, with more than 168,000 convicted criminal and suspected criminal illegal aliens being deported out of the U.S. this year.

In a tremendous increase, ICE hiked the number of illegal alien gang members deported by more than 185%  compared to Fiscal Year 2016. This year, nearly 6,000 illegal aliens who are known or suspected gang members were deported out of the U.S. by ICE. Compare that to the only about 2,000 illegal alien gang members were deported in obuma’s last year in office.

Likewise, ICE deported a steady level of suspected or known illegal alien terrorists, totaling about 42 deportations for Fiscal Year 2018, a slight decrease from the 45 who were deported last year.

The ICE data also reveals the effectiveness of Trump’s visa sanctions on foreign countries refusing to take back their nationals. Throughout this year, the Trump administration placed visa restrictions on Cambodia, Cuba, Eritrea, Guinea, and Sierra Leone, as all those nations would not take their nationals back from the U.S.

This Fiscal Year 2018, after all five nations were hit with visa sanctions, the number of nationals deported to the foreign countries skyrocketed with a 279% increase in deportations from the U.S. to Cambodia, a 189%
increase in deportations to Cuba, and a nearly 150% increase in deportations to Guinea.
As Breitbart News most recently reported, illegal immigration to the U.S. has continuously risen over the last three months to record levels.
Last month, illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico border soared to levels that the country has not seen since Fiscal Year 2014, when more than 51,500 illegal aliens tried to cross the border in April 2015.

Meanwhile, illegal immigration costs American taxpayers about $116 billion every year.

U.S.-born children of illegal aliens — granted birthright citizenship — cost taxpayers about $2.4 billion annually.

There are about 300,000 “anchor babies,” the common name for U.S.-born child of illegal aliens born every year!  This exceeds U.S. births in 48 states.

Facts About Air Force One.

 12/13/18 by Lazar

President Trump has said he would like a new paint job for Air Force One…but that’s not the only thing you need to know about the world’s most iconic plane.

This flying fortress has tons of secrets, or at the very least, tons of untold facts. Air Force One is more than just a big, fancy looking private jet for the POTUS, it’s an advanced aerial security machine. Let’s take a look behind the curtain.

4,000 sq.ft. Yes, it’s large enough to be a house, but it needs the space! The 4,000 square feet provide enough room for all the government officials, journalists, and everyone’s luggage, especially the First Lady’s, and of course, the family dog.

The Boeing VC-25 is a military version of the Boeing 747 airliner, modified for presidential transport and operated by the United States Air Force as Air Force One. Many people don’t know that the term Air Force One” is the call sign of any U.S. Air Force aircraft carrying the President of the United States.

 It Has 3 Floors!

While most passenger Boeing 747s have two levels, the Air Force One aircraft has three. The President enters on the second level, while members of the press enter on the first floor.

 Multiple B747s for President

Did you know there are two Air Force Ones? Well, kind of. The second 747-200B occasionally trails the main Air Force One and provides backup coverage, however, the President can fly in both depending on the situation.

 A Secret Gulfstream Jet

One of three presidential aircraft in charge of evacuating the President during an emergency situation is a Gulfstream C-20C. If you take a gander at the Air Force’s website, however, you won’t find any mention of the C-20C. It’s supposed to be incognito.

How Far Can Air Force One Fly?

How Far Can Air Force One Fly?

Pretty dang far! The 747 can soar halfway around the globe thanks to its massive fuel capacity of 53,000 gallons. As you can guess, this makes it pretty heavy. A fully loaded Air Force One would weigh over 800,000 pounds. While current and previous Air Force One planes have the ability to refuel midair, which allows them to stay airborne indefinitely, the White House recently announced their decision to remove aerial refueling capabilities from the new Air Force One requirements.

The Trump administration has been adamant about driving the development costs of the new Air Force One jets down ever since Trump tweeted that the program was “out of control” and threatened to “cancel order” on December 6, 2016. Many cost-savings measures have been taken since, which included cutting aerial refueling from the program.

How Fast is Air Force One?

How Fast is Air Force One?

The Boeing 747 is capable of speeds exceeding 650 miles per hour. It’s believed to have flown faster than 700 miles per hour in the past.

Original Design Was Inspired By Jackie

Original Design Was Inspired By Jackie

John F. Kennedy felt the first Air Force One design appeared too regal, and, on advice from his wife, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, he contacted the French-born American industrial designer Raymond Loewy for help in designing a new look for the VC-137 jet. Loewy’s work won immediate praise from the president and the press. The VC-137 markings were adapted for the larger VC-25A when it entered service in 1990. However, Loewy’s timeless design might be getting a red, white and blue overhaul.

The paint job President Trump would like the future Air Force One to have.

A New Paint Job for Air Force One?

A New Paint Job for Air Force One?

President Trump met with Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg earlier this year to discuss two future Air Force One models. The deal would reportedly cost $4 billion and likely wouldn’t lead to new planes available for use until 2024. But he’s not just leaning toward a different aircraft, President Trump also reportedly wants a new look. Specifically, one that incorporates red, white and blue. Graphics artists here at the History In Orbit imagined what that could look like. Which one do you like better, the top design or the one below?

Wherever the Plane Goes, the Limo Goes

Wherever the Plane Goes, the Limo Goes

Air Force One is received by the Presidential Limousine which flies prior in a Cargo Flight, so the President is never without his stylish and safe ride. A set up of several cargo planes typically fly surrounding Air Force One to provide the President with services needed in remote locations if needed.

Air Force One (Replica) Floats Down Potomac River

Air Force One (Replica) Floats Down Potomac River

A barge carrying a full size replica of Air Force One floated down the Potomac River from Rhode Island to National Harbor, Maryland on Monday October 1, 2018. Now you’ll be able to see the iconic plane up close and personal…just don’t expect them to reveal all of the plane’s secrets…like the ones in the next few slides.

The life-size copy is part of a project to help educate children about America’s political history and democracy. Visitors to the “Air Force One Experience” can tour the plane and see what it’s like to be a president on Air Force One.

Armored Windows, the windows aren’t the only armor on this flying fortress.

Is Air Force One Nuclear Resistant?

Is Air Force One Nuclear Resistant?

Yes. Air Force One is its own nuclear defense stronghold. Would you expect anything less? The body of the plane can withstand a nuclear blast from the ground.

 Mini-Hospital Onboard

If anyone onboard suffers a sudden injury or illness, there are medical services at the ready.

Who Else Sleeps on Air Force One?

Who Else Sleeps on Air Force One?

POTUS isn’t the only passenger flying on Air Force One. He’s accompanied by a slew of advisors, journalists, secret service members, and senior officials.

How Many Kitchens Are On AF 1?

Hungry? You have two kitchen areas to choose from inside of Air Force One. They are big enough to feed nearly 100 people at a time, but how many people does it take to operate such a large plane? Take a guess.

How Large is the Crew of Air Force One?

How Large is the Crew of Air Force One?

It takes approximately 26 crew members to service Air Force One. You’ll know they are crew if you see “Air Force One” written above the presidential seal on their jackets…unless of course they stole the jacket and are impersonating a crew member. In which case you’ll want to use the next item on the list for help.

Use One of 85 Phones to Call For Help

There are upwards of 85 available phones on the plane. Many of them are used simultaneously. The white phones are for unclassified use, the beige phones are secure lines, but if you’re in trouble, either phone works.

Does Air Force One Have Cameras On-Board?

Back in 1959, the aircraft got cameras placed in its wheel wells that were so strong they could distinguish license plates from nearly 30,000 feet away. This was courtesy of Secretary of State Allen Dulles—of which the Washington D.C.-area airport would later get its name.

 Which President Liked Jelly Beans?

Which President Liked Jelly Beans?

President Reagan was the one who absolutely adored jelly beans during his time in office. He required there to be a bowl on Air Force One at all times.

Which President Smuggled Coors Beer Onto Air Force One?

Which President Smuggled Coors Beer Onto Air Force One?

There once was a time when you couldn’t buy Coors beer in most eastern states. Unless of course, you were the President of the United States. President Gerald Ford made sure he had access to the tasty brew whenever he was on Air Force One as he had members of his team smuggle it aboard. His cover up was certainly more covert than his predecessor Richard Nixon’s. **** We had Coors beer in west Texas when I was a teenager in the late 60's. YE-HAA ****

 This is a Broccoli-Free Flight.

George HW Bush was vehemently against broccoli, arguably more than other things.” He made sure to outlaw broccoli on Air Force One throughout his presidency.

 Radar Jamming.

When people label Air Force One as a “floating White House,” it’s because the aircraft is like a tank. It’s nuclear proof, able to jam radars around the globe, and its flight path is not traceable.

 Terrorist Attack Preparations.

If there is a terrorist event, Air Force One will provide the necessary protection for the president and his team.

 September 11th, 2001.

Obviously a tumultuous day for the entire country, a lot was asked of Air Force One which can conveniently double as a mobile bunker.

How Many People Can Be On Board Air Force One?

Up to 70 people can be on board the jet when it takes off. Considering there are so many random items, including kitchens and hospitals, it’s remarkable that it can fit nearly 100 people.

Does Air Force One Have a Doctor Onboard?

You bet they do! Air Force One doesn’t just have an onboard hospital, it has a doctor at the ready, prepared to tackle any situation.

Does Air Force One Take Precedence Over Other Traffic?

Does Air Force One Take Precedence Over Other Traffic?

Even though Air Force One flies into normal, commercial airports from time to time, it’s treated way better than the planes you and I are on. DUH!

The airspace around the airport is cleared for several minutes prior to the 747’s arrival and for a few minutes after it lands. Whenever the President comes to town, make sure you’re not flying that day.

 Tax Payer Burden

The upkeep costs of Air Force One are quite high. It can cost well over $250,000 for the President to take short trips around the U.S. The production of Air Force One alone was over half a billion dollars, with about $140 million being paid by the U.S. Air Force.

Two Bullets

Two Bullets

These two bullets were found after the Battle of Gallipoli which started in 1915 and ended in 1916 during WWI. The allies consisted of British, French, Australia and New Zealand against a fierce Turkish Army. In the end, the allied side lost 46,000 troops while the Turkish lost 65,000, with the Allies retreating from the battle.

The Turks still consider their victory at Gallipoli to be a great, defining moment in the nation’s modern history. Eight years later, the Turkish War of Independence broke out, led by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Ataturk was a commander at the battle of Gallipoli.

Trump Ends Dependency On Foreign Oil For First Time In 75 Years, Mainstream Media SILENT.

Under President Trump, the United States has been able to achieve something it has not been able to do since the 1940s — effectively end its dependency on foreign oil.

It is being reported that for the first time in 75 years, the United States has exported more oil than it brought in, the Daily Wire reports.

The accomplishment fulfilled a major campaign promise Trump made to his supporters to make America energy independent from the world.

From the Daily Wire:

“While the U.S. has been a net oil importer since 1949, over the final week of November, U.S. net imports of crude oil and petroleum products fell to minus 211,000 barrels per day (bpd) — which means America exported more than it imported, according to data from U.S. Energy Information and Administration.

Oil production has been booming in the U.S. as the shale revolution swept the nation. America is now the world’s largest producer of petroleum, passing Russia and Saudi Arabia. As the U.S. oil boom spread, the power of OPEC was reduced and gas prices in the U.S. have dropped from the $4+ highs under former president Barack Obama.”

The Epoch Times reports that the energy milestone was largely ignored as media heads and even the market were focused on an OPEC meeting in Vienna, Virginia.

“While there is so much focus on the drama in the OPEC cartel, the real historic news that went unnoticed was that the United States last week exported more crude oil and fuel than it imported for the first time on record,” Phil Flynn, analyst at Price Futures Group in Chicago, said per the Epoch Times.

“So now the United States can join the community of exporting nations as opposed to consuming nations, at least this week,” Flynn added.

Here’s more, from Bloomberg:

“America turned into a net oil exporter last week, breaking almost 75 years of continued dependence on foreign oil and marking a pivotal — even if likely brief — moment toward what U.S. President Donald Trump has branded as “energy independence.”

The shift to net exports is the dramatic result of an unprecedented boom in American oil production, with thousands of wells pumping from the Permian region of Texas and New Mexico to the Bakken in North Dakota to the Marcellus in Pennsylvania.

While the country has been heading in that direction for years, this week’s dramatic shift came as data showed a sharp drop in imports and a jump in exports to a record high.”

‘obumacare’ Ruled Unconstitutional by Texas judge

Texas, along with 19 states, had argued to U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor that they had been hurt by a jump in the amount of people utilizing state-backed insurance. When Congress cut the tax penalty from the program in 2017, the states claimed, it essentially undercut the Supreme Court’s reasoning for finding former President barry obuma’s signature legislation constitutional in 2012.

“The remainder of the ACA is non-severable from the individual mandate, meaning that the Act must be invalidated in whole,” O’Connor wrote in a 55-page opinion, according to Bloomberg. O’Connor is a conservative Republican appointee who previously blocked other obuma-era policies.

“As I predicted all along, obumacare has been struck down as an UNCONSTITUTIONAL disaster,” President Trump tweeted following the ruling. “Now Congress must pass a STRONG law that provides GREAT healthcare and protects pre-existing conditions. Mitch and Nancy, get it done!”

In a second tweet, the president declared the ruling to be “great news for America!”

Mexifornia and other states ruled against by the judge will likely challenge the decision by appealing in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

“Today’s ruling is an assault on 133 million Americans with pre-existing conditions, on the 20 million Americans who rely on the A.C.A.’s consumer protections for health care, on America’s faithful progress toward affordable health care for all Americans,” Xavier Becerra, Mexifornia’s attorney general, said in a statement, according to The New York Times. “The A.C.A. has already survived more than 70 unsuccessful repeal attempts and withstood scrutiny in the Supreme Court.”

“obumacare has been struck down by a highly respected judge,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement.

“The judge’s decision vindicates President Trump’s position that obumacare is unconstitutional,” Sanders continued. “Once again, the President calls on Congress to replace obumacare and act to protect people with preexisting conditions and provide Americans with quality affordable healthcare. We expect this ruling will be appealed to the Supreme Court. Pending the appeal process, the law remains in place.”

Democratic leaders, meanwhile, reacted harshly to the decision.

“The ruling seems to be based on faulty legal reasoning and hopefully it will be overturned,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., tweeted. “Americans who care about working families must do all they can to prevent this district court ruling from becoming law.”

“While the district court’s absurd ruling will be immediately appealed, Republicans are fully responsible for this cruel decision and for the fear they have struck into millions of families across America who are now in danger of losing their health coverage,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said in a statement. “When House

Democrats take the gavel, the House of Representatives will move swiftly to formally intervene in the appeals process to uphold the life-saving protections for people with pre-existing conditions and reject Republicans’ effort to destroy the Affordable Care Act.”
