STRATEN PLANS WAYNE TOWN HALL OPEN FORUM ON 10-29

WAYNE – Roland Straten, Republican candidate for Congress from the 8^th Congressional District, will hold a Town Hall Open Forum on Friday, October 29, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. at the Wayne Municipal Building, 475 Valley Road.

The purpose of the Open Forum is to provide 8^th District residents with the opportunity to express their views on any issues of concern to them and to question Straten about his positions on the issues.

“People are worried about government-run health care, bailouts, ineffective so-called stimulus spending, and all the other things that are dragging this country down: all the things that my opponent, Bill Pascrell, has voted for while carrying out Nancy Pelosi’s orders,” Straten said. “ObamaCare and failed stimulus packages are why this economy is not recovering and why people are not finding jobs.”

Straten, a successful Paterson businessman for over 40 years, will reduce spending, taxes and regulations and will repeal and replace government-controlled health care if elected.
