Dear District # 8 Resident Voters,

If you have already decided to vote for me, please don’t forget to vote on Tuesday.

If you have not yet decided, please consider the following:
Rather than to go into the issues, which you have heard multiple times, I would like to give you a bit of my background, and let you choose whether this background will allow me to serve you well.

Objective:
Create and pass legislation that will benefit the citizens of my district and the country as a whole by providing good jobs and quality of life.

General:
Raised in Wayne, live in Montclair, worked in Paterson.
An engineer and businessman, not a career politician.

Education:
Engineering degree from Duke University
MBA from Tuck School at Dartmouth College

Military:
Served on the USS PYRO in Vietnam during the Vietnam War as an officer. During my military career I had 50 men working for me which was an incredible learning experience for a youngster right out of college.

Work Experience:

• Worked in the Financial Planning Department of Union Camp Corporation doing economic forecasting, mergers and acquisition analysis, computer simulations of the paper industry, and budget analysis
• CEO of Associated Fire Protection in Paterson for 40 years.
• Professional engineer & licensed electrician

• Fire Suppressions System Association (FSSA) Technical Committee
• Member former VP, NJ Chapter, Society of Fire Protection Engineers
• Board Member, NJ Hotel & Multiple Dwelling Health & Safety Board
• Former Member NJ Fire Commission
• Former Board Member NJ Fire Equipment Advisory Board
• Former President, NJ Association of Fire Equipment Distributors
• Board of Trustees (former Chairman) Paterson Chamber of Commerce (current)
• Chairman of the Board, Memorial Day Nursery, Paterson, NJ (1998 – 2001)
• Board of Trustees, Paterson Education Fund, Paterson, NJ (1988 – 1996)
• Troop Committee (Former Scoutmaster), Troop 13, Montclair, NJ (1989 – 1993)
