Karl Marx: The father of the philosophy behind
"The Third Way"
Ohio Issue 1 — also known as “The Third Frontier” — will be on the ballot for us to vote on this May 4th. I have done research on the issue that I would like to share with you. The issue is much deeper than the propaganda you may have received in the mail that says ‘vote yes for jobs’.The bond renewal is an estimated $700 million over four years. Bureaucrats are asking your permission to redistribute even more of your wealth. This program allows the government to steer Ohio’s economy. This is
fascism (also known as
progressivism ).
Do you know the history behind the Third Frontier?
Progressives,
Ira C. Magaziner and
Robert D. Reich, introduced a state-level industrial policy in Rhode Island in 1984. They called it the
Greenhouse Compact and a “blueprint for national industrial policy.” Mr. Magaziner said that “Rhode Island needs a Strategic Development Commission” that “should steer the Rhode Island economy” by “using a combination of powerful levers.” Rhode Island voters killed the policy 4 to 1. Eighteen years later, Ohio voters passed a similar policy called the ‘Third Frontier’.
What’s in a name?
The name ‘Third Frontier’ has ties that are not just a mere coincidence.
Robert D. Reich published a book in 1983 called
The Next American Frontierin which he laid out his blueprint for the American economy. The ‘
Third Way‘ proudly states, “Three of our former chairs now serve in the senior ranks of the Obama administration.” The ‘Third Way’ holds that organized labor, banking, big business, universities, and government should work together. The ‘Third Way’ states that there is a way in between capitalism and socialism. It is called fascism, but they don’t like to use that word. Hitler also believed in fascism, or the ‘Third Reich’. Stalin called his policy the ‘Third Period’ and he was a member of the ‘Third Group’ political party which professed Marxist doctrines. ‘
Third International‘ was founded in Moscow in March 1919 to coordinate the world communist movement. Also, the ‘
Triple Revolution‘ was an open memorandum sent to U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson and other government figures on March 22, 1964 in which the weaponry revolution of mutually assured destruction was identified.
Who supports Issue 1?
One of the
supporters that stands out as a red flag to me is
ProgressOhio. Another group that supports big government and more government control is the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation who supported the creation of the
Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board last November. As a group that claims to look out for farmers, why would they support more government bureaucrats dictating how you raise your animals? Something smells fishy.
Who should control which businesses thrive or fail?
Government
The Third Frontier program was started by progressives who believe that government bureaucrats know best. When a few elite decide how to redistribute your wealth, it inevitably leads to corruption like bribes, favors, fraud, and waste.
You
In a free market, if consumers purchase a product/service, then that business thrives and more jobs are created. If consumers do not purchase a product/service, then that business either improves their product to meet the demands of the consumers or fails. Each individual consumer controls how their hard-earned money is spent, hence there is no chance for government corruption.Government bureaucrats should not use our money to steer the economy.
I will be voting NO on Issue 1.
Sincerely,
Carrie Mihalick
