This email is from my father-in-law. His first cousin's son-n-law is a retired
Navy SEAL and is privy to info that the Media will not cover...

FYI:
I thought you all would be interested in this report from Paul, a retired
SEAL who is married to the daughter of Ruth, my first cousin.
Paul in recent years has been active in the Naval training center in Niland, CA
where personnel are trained for combat in Iraq and Afganistan. Accordingly,
Paul is in touch with current SEAL activities and his report differs from what
the liberal media purveys...

1. Obama was opposed to killing the pirates and did not authorize the shots;
furthermore, he immediately became angry when the 3 pirates were killed to
release their prisoner.

2. Although the SEALS had already arrived at the scene, Obama ordered the FBI
to take responsibility. FBI personnel arrived 12 hours after the SEALS and soon
advised that they were not equipped to deal with the situation.

3. After 5 days of frustration, the skipper of the Navy ship at the scene
authorized firing by the DEV group of SEALs on the
vessel.

4. Because of an impending storm, the boat on which the 3 pirates and Captain
of the Maersk were aboard was taken in tow by the Navy ship. This placed the
boat in calm water in the center of the wake of the Navy ship, and at a known
and fixed distance.

5. The Captain of the Maersk and his 3 captors were below in the cabin of the
boat being towed.

6. When the Captain of the Navy ship ordered the SEAL group to fire they did
so using night vision equipment. There were 4 snipers; the first used a
frangible round to take out the window, then the other 3 fired simultaneously a
millisecond later, killing the 3 pirates. Immediately thereafter several
inflatable boats manned by additional SEALs sped to the boat to rescue the
Captain of the Maersk before the mother ship of the pirates could do anything.

7. When Obama became aware of the universal approval of the action of the
SEALs, he promptly let it be known through the liberal media that he
had ordered the killing of the 3 pirates.


P.S. Paul also states that activities at the Niland facility have increased
recently due to the current Afganistan scenario.
