Burris- Step down!!!

First of all, I am by no means a racist or prejudiced toward any skin color in preference over another. I would like to state for the record that I am sick of those in on crying racism in situations like the Burris case. Junior Senator Burris SHOULD resign and submit to open and proper investigation procedures. He is not exempt because of race to be tested on the scandalous allegations laid before him. Let him be tried. Let the American people see what scumbags most politicians are, Mr. Burris! In my opinion, if found guilty of corruption, you are no better than former Governor Blagojevich or Bill Clinton (research Vince Foster, Whitewater, and Monica Lewinski) or even Nixon (of Watergate infamy). You have been given, by your sponsoring Senator, an ultimatum. He told you to get out while you can, and instead your arrogance (or conviction- which I think is misplaced) has overcome you in your refusal to deny a vote of "No Confidence" among those you claim to serve. You sir, are the worst kind of politician. You do not serve honesty or civility, but rather you have ignored both public and even political outcry to step down from your position. Let the American people hear the truth! We will demand it of you whether you like it or not. Your attorney has instructed you not to speak to the press?!! That's transparency?!! We are not fools, Mr. Burris. You will be held accountable for your actions, especially if it can lead us to those you are affiliated with in any misdeeds that serve anyone BUT the people YOU WORK FOR! We, the people, will work to lawfully petition or otherwise introduce legislation to eliminate this threat of self-service in all forms that threatens to subvert the will of the people, who grant power to the government to serve us- not the other way around! If you do not come clean, we will seek every legal means possible to extract the truth. If that means a lovely stay at Guantanamo- we will consider it as an open option. Tyranny can come from both sides of the border. We declare anyone on either side of the law that threatens the Constitutional rights of the people to be hereby classified as terrorists themselves! The time to come clean is now. For this is what you risk if you do not answer to those you claim to serve. The choice is yours, Mr. Burris.
