How do you affect public opinion? Start with the very impressionable young, in their formative years. Then they can tell Mommy and Daddy how wrong it is to drive such a big car, and we have to save the planet.

I noticed my son coughing into the bend in his arm, and had to finally laugh. Asking me what was so funny, I mentioned he was doing the Obama cough. He said "No way", his children taught him to do that, so how could that be, because they were also teaching it in Pre-School? Exactly! Because their teachers taught them to do that .... because Obama taught the teachers to do that. This is how it starts.
