Pub Insults Gun Owners Across America With This Outrageous Sign

It reads: “NO CONCEALED WEAPONS ALLOWED. If you are such a loser that you feel a need to carry a gun with you when you go out, I do not want your business. Douchebag.” That’s the message Backstreets Pub & Deli recently sent to gun owners with a sign posted in its store window. He has had to take the phone at the pub off the hook because of the national outrage.

The solution to this problem should be obvious ….We need to spend more money on education. These men are victims of Republicans cutting funds to schools. How were these three victims of society supposed to obey a sign they couldn’t even read? ….Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts, who’s been trying to *blackmail restaurant chains into banning guns, *presumably, this means that when Ms. Watts goes out to eat, her armed guards have to wait in the car. North Carolina BBQ Place "No Firearms" Sign and Is Promptly Robbed

I don't really think that anyone should have a gun in a bar unless it's the bartender. I have been to quite a few cop bars in my time, and even the very ones who do know better, or should, get out of hand when drinking. Some States even will remove a CCW if a person is found to have a gun in a Bar or has been drinking beyond a certain point ( usually one drink) and is slightly inebriated. Some of the guys I worked with, once decided to have a marksmanship contest inside one of the cop bars, and we had to jump on them to stop them when they actually fired a shot. Fortunately there were no civilians in there at that time. Unfortunately Shift Commanders were there, and the guys were disciplined by being put on the Bow and Arrow Squad (unarmed desk duty) for six months. So I don't approve of mixing guns and booze. If the guy had said "No Guns Allowed" instead of what he did say probably nothing would have come of it with the protests. I do agree that "Pete" is a jerk for the way he did things though.
