Reasons I for Fear For My Country

For the first time in my life, I fear the United States may not make it. I've lived through a period four wars in my lifetime, and I have not seen anything like what is happening today. The turning point in my opinion was in the Radical movement of the Sixties. The Spoiled Hedonistic Children of the Greatest Generation were lured by false promises of the Socialist Agenda.

The college professors who had been Pro Marxist, and who had joined the Communist Party in their youth in the Thirties, were now  in tenured professorships. They subtly poisoned the minds of the college crowd, and made them believe the Government of the United States with it's Capitalistic Ideals, was an evil force to be destroyed. Those kids formed many Anti-American groups like the SDS, the Weathermen, The Symbionese Liberation Army and actually started to wage war against their own Country.

The Public of that era rejected the movement, and it went underground, and started to infiltrate main stream society and government.  Those same Marxist indoctrinated Radicals are now in control of most of the Government. We used to laugh at them and convince ourselves that they could not be taken seriously by anyone with any intelligence. We were wrong, they had a long term plan just like the Chinese Reds and the USSR used to have, planning for years, even decades in the future. The plan conceived in the late Sixties has come to full fruition. We are playing catch up, and will continue to do so, unless we are smart enough to anticipate their next move and block it. We have to be very careful not to fall into any of their traps.

The Liberal/Progressive Machine as it is now known, has been systematically goading, frustrating, pushing, and lying to discredit the value system and morals Americans value so highly. They use highly emotionally charged rhetoric to elevate the inane, and denigrate the laudable things we believe in. I have to admit their rhetoric has a devastating effect on the young, and on the naive sections of our society. The weak minded and the overwhelmed also fall for the lies.

I can see just as well as all of you can,  there is a concerted systematic movement afoot, to collapse everything in our society so it can be rebuilt in the Marxist Workers Paradise ideal. I know this struggle has been going on since 1844. I know this because my Great Grandfather was a Socialist Politician who campaigned on Woodward Avenue in Detroit when it was still a dirt road. My Grandfather disowned his own father, because he was a Socialist. My Grandfather was a staunch Republican Who often spoke out against the Socialist leaning policies of Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, and eventually against Franklin Roosevelt too. He was a firm believer in the Capitalist System until the day he died.

We had many talks about what things were like when he was growing up in the era after the Civil War. The most striking things he spoke of, were those things he lived through and remembered first hand, and they were not in the History books. Or, the relating of the events in the books was so corrupted and changed to reflect the politics of that era, they seemed like it was something different that happened.

Did you know that the Federal Government decided to change the content and context of what was taught in history books in 1877 and again in the 1890s? The Federal Government "Standardized the way things could be taught about History, government, World History etc. My Grandfather said he suspected that was done to keep future generations from learning the truth about how the power was stolen from the states by a strong Federalist Government.

I think the Progressive Machine has taken a page from that time in History and has turned against the Nation once again. I have learned from my Grandsons History teacher, there is currently a move by the Department of Education to only teach American History from 1877 forward because "There is not enough time to teach it all, so we will only touch on the important things". I ask you what is more important than knowing both the WHY and the HOW we became this Nation. If we don't know in depth the reasons and background for our becoming a Nation, we will not have reasons to continue to validate our past or protect our future. The Constitution gives us the continuity between our Past and our Future, and provides protections against Government stepping on us or removing our Freedoms at their whims.

Never Forget the fact that is codified in the 10th Amendment; the States are actually soverign nations unto themselves and the Federal Government is supposed to be impotent with regards to making regulations for the States except what is specifically and narrowly granted to it in the Constitution. The majority of things the Federal Government has imposed on us is Constitutionally Illegal and it would only take a concerted effort by any State to have those things removed by a Court of Law.

My Friends, Enjoy the Easter holiday and whatever freedoms we have left. We meet here not at the beginning but rather at the end. The rot has reached the core. Our United States of America is done. We will not be able to turn the ship around. Perhaps a new America will rise one day again, but it will not be in our lifetimes.

I feel much the same way.  We have a lot of work to do.  November 6, 2012 is our last stand:

Seriously Mike, you are absolutely right, as always.  We must stop educating the five or six of us reading these posts, and make our case to the slugs...I mean the people, the public out there that could not care less about Tea Party, coffee klatches, why fuel is so high, is Trump's hair for real? Yep, We have got our work cut out for us.  But we try.  We're just gonna keep on trying. It would be easier if we were not so fragmented.
