Major Cartel Firefight Erupts on Southern Border.

Two new videos were released on Monday that showed separate incidents of gun battles taking place just south of the Texas border between rival Mexican drug cartels.

 The first video, released by journalists Ildefonso Ortiz and Brandon Darby, show part of a gunfight that took place just outside the Reynosa-Pharr International Bridge near Pharr, Texas.

 The video shows panicked travelers parking their car in front of the offices of the Reynosa-Pharr International Bridge and running inside for cover.

The results in Tuesday's primaries in eight states are an early indication that President Trump's "America First" agenda and accomplishments are winning the support of the American people. This is good news for Republicans running in the Nov. 6 midterm elections.

 The Trump agenda of economic growth, job creation, border security, and peace through strength abroad is causing voters to seriously consider the consequences of supporting candidates who carry the Democratic mantle of tax hikes, protecting sanctuary cities, and the hyper-partisan and baseless impeachment witch hunt.

  In Mexifornia, it will be hard for Democrats to point to evidence that a blue wave is coming in November. In congressional districts 39, 45 and 48 – all key pieces of the puzzle for a Democratic takeover of the House of Representatives – Republican candidates received over 50% of the vote in the “jungle primary” system. With Democrats clinging to a meager 3% advantage in generic ballot polling averages, picking up the 23 House seats necessary to win a Democratic majority looks like it will be more difficult than expected.

 Fresh off one of the best jobs reports in years, voters came to the polls in the eight states where primaries were held with growing optimism and a feeling that there is reason to feel good again in America! Democrats also failed in their quest to send two open-border liberals to the general election in the Mexifornia gubernatorial contest. Republican businessman John Cox captured second place, due to strong support from President Trump. 

 Cox will be a strong advocate for the president's pro-growth economic record in Mexifornia. This will be a sharp contrast to Democrat Gavin Newsom's ultra-liberal objectives, which will only continue Mexifornia's charge into the abyss.

  Also worth noting is that a Democratic state senator in Mexifornia was recalled for voting for gas tax increases, costing Mexifornia Democrats the supermajority in the Legislature necessary to raise taxes even more. Fresh off one of the best jobs reports in years, voters came to the polls in the eight states where primaries were held with growing optimism and a feeling that there is reason to feel good again in America.

  Hardworking Americans understand full well that voting for a Democrat for the U.S. House or U.S. Senate is a vote against the Trump prosperity and security agenda that has paved the way for the lowest unemployment rate in 18 years (3.8%), the highest consumer confidence in 17 years, the decimation of ISIS, and the return of American respect around the globe!

  When folks consider the fact that nearly 3 million jobs have been created since President Trump took office, they are rightly nervous to give House Minority Leader nancy pukelosi,   D-Calif., the chance to once again become speaker of the House with a Democratic majority.

 In the Republican Senate primary in Montana, conservative state Auditor Matt Rosendale prevailed in a crowded field. Rosendale, a statewide elected official and strong supporter of President Trump's agenda, will give Montanans a clear choice in November in a state that President Trump carried by a whopping 20 points in 2016. 

 The people of Montana can re-elect anti-Trump Democratic Sen. Jon Tester – who has become Cryin' Chuck Schumer's puppet in the D.C. swamp – or vote for Rosendale, a reform-minded Washington outsider. In New Jersey, Republicans nominated Republican businessman and Washington outsider Bob Hugin. He will be a formidable candidate matched up against ethically challenged career politician Bob Menendez.

 A contested Senate race in deep blue New Jersey is something that national Democrats did not count on and will certainly make their pathway to a Senate majority that much more difficult.

 The Tuesday primary results from Mexifornia to Montana to New Jersey are cause for concern for the Democrats. Voters showed that they appreciate it when politicians make promises and keep them. President Trump is making good on his campaign pledges. Voters are happy with our nation's economic outlook and want it to continue! And they are tired of the two-year, $17 million phony Russia collusion investigation.

 As a result, Washington Democrats with no positive agenda for the American people will have a very hard time convincing voters to overturn the Republican majorities in the House and Senate. If bill clinton is asked what matters most to voters on his book tour, he would undoubtedly say that it's still "the economy, stupid!"

  President Trump and the Republicans in Congress understand this and are focused like a laser beam on continuing the unprecedented progress that's been made.

The Democrats, on the other hand, are in the wilderness swamp, with no plans of turning back.

Donald Trump holds up the Veterans Affairs Mission Act he signed.

 The Trump administration is seeking to pay for recent expansion of Veterans Affairs to private health care through recently increased budgetary caps, according to an administration official.

The VA Mission Act, signed into law by the president on Wednesday, creates a new program that allows veterans to seek private care. The law calls for billions for new programs to provide private care, but does not outline how they will be funded.

 The Washington Post reported the White House is working against funding the new law. However, the White House and the Republican congressional leadership both support securing funding for the VA expansion.

 "The committee will continue to work with the White House in finding the path forward to secure and fund the best care for our veterans," said David Popp, a spokesman for Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.). "It's not a question of whether this important priority will get funded. It will be resolved during the upcoming appropriations process."

 An administration official told the Washington Free Beacon the White House is committed to funding health care for current and future heroes and said the expansion can be paid for under existing spending caps.

 Speaker of the House Paul Ryan's office confirmed Ryan (R., Wis.) agrees with the White House that the new veterans programs should be paid for with existing funds, rather than increasing spending.

 A proposal introduced by Sen. Richard Shelby (R., Ala.) and Patrick Leahy (D., Vt.) would create $50 billion in new spending to address the health care expansion.

 However, the administration says the creation of new funding is unnecessary and can be taken elsewhere from existing appropriations, after Congress recently approved a $67 billion increase in spending for nondefense programs in fiscal year 2019.

 The official added that the White House strongly supports creating a new, consolidated community care program for veterans' health care.

 President Trump's budget for FY 2019 funded the program under the nondefense discretionary cap, while providing $83.1 billion for the VA, an 11.7% increase from 2017. Of that, $73.1 billion would go toward health care services for veterans.

 The Community Care Program, which was created by the Mission Act, accounts for $14.2 billion of the president's VA budget.

Charles Krauthammer Announces He Only Has Weeks to Live.

Charles Krauthammer, Conservative Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer announced unexpectedly Friday that his cancer has returned and he likely only has weeks to live.

 "I have been uncharacteristically silent these past ten months. I had thought that silence would soon be coming to an end, but I’m afraid I must tell you now that fate has decided on a different course for me," Krauthammer wrote in a note to readers.

 Krauthammer underwent surgery in 2017 to remove a cancerous tumor, but he was hospitalized by a series of  secondary complications. "It was a long and hard fight with many setbacks, but I was steadily, if slowly, overcoming each obstacle along the way and gradually making my way back to health," he wrote.

 Initially, he was expected to make a full recovery. In a public statement read aloud on Fox News by anchor Bret Baier, Krauthammer, a regular Fox News contributor, told fans last month that the worst was behind him and he would soon return to air.

 "However, recent tests have revealed that the cancer has returned," Krauthammer wrote Friday. "There was no sign of it as recently as a month ago, which means it is aggressive and spreading rapidly. My doctors tell me their best estimate is that I have only a few weeks left to live. This is the final verdict. My fight is over."

 Krauthammer bade farewell to his colleagues at the Post, Fox News, and Crown Publishing, and thanked readers especially for allowing him to carry out his life's work.

 "I leave this life with no regrets," he wrote. "It was a wonderful life — full and complete with the great loves and great endeavors that make it worth living. I am sad to leave, but I leave with the knowledge that I lived the life that I intended."

 Twitter users responded immediately to the news with an outpouring of support.

An official at the anti-Israel American muslims for Palestine group who openly advocates for violence against the Jewish state contributed $2,500 to Democratic Party leader Rep. Keith Ellison (Minn.) last year, according to campaign disclosure documents.

 The contribution from Taher Herzallah, AMP’s associate director of outreach and grassroots organizing, came in March 2017 shortly after Ellison was named the Democratic National Committee’s deputy chairman.

 Herzallah is best known as one of the “Irvine 11,” a group of students who were sentenced to three years probation for actions taken to disrupt a 2010 speech by then-Israeli ambassador Michael Oren. He more recently—just a few weeks before his contribution to Ellison—was arrested for disrupting confirmation hearings for U.S. ambassador to Israel David Friedman.

 Herzallah has in recent years openly advocated for using violence to destroy Israel, saying in 2014 that “the State of Israel is a lie” and “Israelis have to be bombed.”

 "Israelis have to be bombed, they are a threat to the legitimacy of Palestine, and it is wrong to maintain the State of Israel," Herzallah said, according to the Anti-Defamation League. "It is an illegitimate creation born from colonialism and racism."

 Herzallah backs up his calls for violence by arguing "the only language that the state of Israel understands is that of resistance." Herzallah has also proposed establishing "an Islamic State" to "use violent means to resist occupation."

 "What if as muslims we wanted to establish an islamic State?

What if as muslims we wanted to use violent means to resist occupation? Is that wrong?"

 Herzallah argues there is no future for Palestinian people "as long as Zionism exists," and he doesn't "limit discourse on a future Palestine based on the 1967 lines."

 Herzallah's radical comments are unsurprising given his role at AMP, a group founded by a man who in 2004 called for "an intifada" in the United States. Herzallah's role at AMP is to run its campus group, Students for Justice in Palestine, the leading activist group for the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) campaign that aims to destroy Israel economically.

 Ellison supported the BDS movement until his campaign for the top DNC leadership post, during which he was repeatedly dinged for previous statements on Israel and associations with radical groups such as Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood-founded Muslim American Society.

 He backtracked from many of his controversial positions during his campaign, which was ultimately unsuccessful. "I have long supported a two-state solution and a democratic and secure state for the Jewish people, with a democratic and viable Palestinian state side-by-side in peace and dignity," Ellison said during his campaign. "I don’t believe boycotting, divesting, and sanctioning Israel helps us achieve that goal. I supported the Democratic Platform, which embraces this position."

 Neither Ellison's office nor his campaign responded to requests for comment on the contribution from Herzallah.

The DNC also failed to respond to an inquiry into whether it believes Ellison should return the contribution.

Austria Plans to Shut Down 7 Mosques.

According to a new article from The Daily Mail, Austria plans to shut down several mosques:

 Austria said today it could expel up to 60 Turkish-funded imams and their families and would shut down seven mosques as part of a crackdown on ‘political islam’ that was described as ‘just the beginning’, triggering fury in Ankara.

 Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said the government is shutting a hardline Turkish nationalist mosque in Vienna and dissolving a group called the Arab Religious Community that runs six mosques.

 His coalition government, an alliance of conservatives and the far right, came to power soon after Europe’s migration crisis on promises to prevent another influx and clamp down on benefits for new immigrants and refugees.

 Seven mosques will also be shut after an investigation by Austria’s religious affairs authority sparked by images which emerged in April of children in a Turkish-backed mosque playing dead and re-enacting the World War I battle of Gallipoli.

 The muslim population has nearly doubled in the last 16 years due to a ground swell of immigration from the Balkans and Turkey.

 Is Austria making the right move!

Texas Student Group Stands To Oppose Parkland Kids.

 Ever since the Parkland massacre, there have been a few names we just can’t seem to escape. Names like David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez are becoming almost household names, all because they went to a school where something horrible happened.

 Through it all, the Parkland kids have pretended to be the voices of a whole generation, claiming that the young are somehow ready to throw off supposedly antiquated ideas like “rights” and make the world better.

As if.

 Luckily, though, there’s another group of young people also from a part of the country touched by recent school violence that is ready to oppose Hogg and company.

 A group of pro-gun Texas students is challenging Parkland survivors in their attempt to push gun control after the Santa Fe High School shooting last month.

 The group, called March for Our Rights, sent a letter to Gov. Greg Abbott urging him to consider its pro-Second Amendment viewpoint.

  The letter came in response to another letter sent to Abbott and signed by organizers of the pro-gun control group March for Our Lives. The letter, published as a full-page ad in the Houston Chronicle, called for policy change and asked Abbott not to pander to the gun lobby. March for Our Rights said that while it didn’t have the money to take an ad out, it wanted Abbott to know it supported the Second Amendment:

 We want to make sure you know we don’t agree with billionaire Michael Bloomberg or any of the gun control organizations and activities that he financially supports. 

  A Bloomberg-affiliated group recently took out an ad in the Houston Chronicle, criticizing you and Texas lawmakers for supporting pro-Second Amendment policies for rejecting their misguided gun control schemes.

  While we might lack the ability to finance a similar response, we do have a voice.

The group that the letter referred to was the nonprofit “Everytown,” which received financial backing from Bloomberg.

 This group is also going toe to toe with Hogg and his fellow travelers on social media, also pointing out that unlike the Parkland crowd, no one has written them a big old astroturf check. In other words, they’re legitimately homegrown.

 Just the existence of this group is important.

I’m in my mid-40s. It’s easy for people to dismiss my opinions on the Parkland kids as being some variation of “Get off my lawn.” In fairness, there are times that part of my criticism of them may well sound that way. Part of it is because I have experience these kids don’t.

That said, it’s easy for both them and their followers to ignore me.

 But this is their peers who are opposing them. These are people of their same generation, and they’re making it clear that the Parkland crowd doesn’t speak for them.

 They understand our rights are sacred and shouldn’t be traded cheaply, especially when we have so much evidence that none of the measures being called for would do anything.

  It also warms my heart to know that the upcoming generation isn’t going to be led by the foul-mouthed leader of an anti-rights astroturf group, but by people who aren’t necessarily going to capitulate with their peers simply because someone has been on television enough.

Delaware Assault Weapon Ban Bill Set To Fail In Committee.

Anytime you find out that someone’s rights aren’t about to be curtailed, it’s a good day. It’s a shame that we live in a world where that makes it a good day, but such is the state of things in this day and age, unfortunately.

 However, it’s still good news for the people of Delaware. After all, it seems the effort to ban so-called assault rifles in their state hit a major roadblock when it lost a key vote in committee.

 Sen. Greg Lavelle, a northern Delaware Republican and key swing vote on a bill that would prohibit the sale of an array semi-automatic rifles, said on Wednesday that he will not to allow the legislation out of committee.

It is a decision that means the bill likely will not be addressed by the full Senate, unless the body votes to suspend legislative rules.

 “Unlike many on the other side of the aisle, I consider the Constitution the first hurdle any piece of legislation must get over, and this bill clearly fails that test,” said Lavelle, R-Sharpley. “There are firearms listed in this legislation that are used for the defense of home, for hunting and for recreation. All of those uses are constitutionally guaranteed.”

 Lavelle’s vote reflects a national divide over gun control measures that has widened since a February mass-shooting that killed 17 people at a Parkland, Florida high school.

 Supporters say removing semi-automatic rifles from retail shelves will result in a safer society, while opponents argue such a move would violate the U.S. Constitution.

 Actually, those only part of what opponents argue.

The other part is that it’s such a law that will do nothing to make our communities or our schools safer but will hurt the average law-abiding citizen who uses these kinds of weapons for personal defense or legitimate sporting purposes like hunting or competition shooting. The fact that it’s a violation of the United States Constitution is only one facet of our arguments.

 But in this day and age, we’re used to our opponents completely ignoring the plain text of the Second Amendment. They’ve gotten a lot of practice at it and, as a result, so have we.

 That’s why we need to make the argument that even if it weren’t a violation of the Second Amendment, it still wouldn’t do a damn thing to make our country even slightly better.

 With that said, Lavelle’s refusal to budge is an important move. It would be easy to capitulate to political pressure, but I think we all know that doing so won’t accomplish much of anything in the long run other than emboldening anti-gun forces to try and browbeat others into falling in line.

 The fact is, our rights aren’t up for negotiation and neither is our safety. Laws like the one proposed in Delaware put lives at risk, interferes with people’s recreation, and won’t do a damn thing it’s being touted as doing. By standing against the bill, Lavelle is making a statement that puts Americans first, not hysterical fearmongers who are terrified of an armed populace.

ALERT: ICE Takes Down Over 100 Illegals!

On Tuesday Immigrations and Customs Enforcement conducted a raid on a single business in Ohio. As a result over 100 illegal employees were taken into custody.
  According to The Hill:
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents reportedly arrested 114 employees at a gardening and landscaping company in northern Ohio on Tuesday. 
 The arrests took place in Sandusky and Castalia, Ohio at two Corso’s Flower & Garden Center locations, according to The Associated Press. 
 ICE told the news service that the employees are expected to be charged with identity theft and tax evasion.
No charges have been filed against the company, according to the AP, but authorities say it is under investigation. **** what about e-verify? ****
 The sting at the landscaping company comes amid President Trump's crackdown on businesses that hire undocumented immigrants. 
 This is a major bust for ICE and concludes a months-long investigation into the business.
