Koch Brothers Push GOP in Surprising Direction.

Koch Brothers Push GOP in Surprising Direction
A group backed by the billionaire Republican donors Charles and David Koch is launching an ad campaign urging lawmakers to pass a permanent solution for DACA recipients.
The Libre Initiative, a conservative grassroots organization focused on engaging the mexicano community, is releasing a series of mailers on Thursday targeting 20 Republican and Democratic lawmakers in support of immigration legislation to "provide certainty for Dreamers" and strengthen the nation’s southern border.
The push is part of a broader seven-figure campaign on the issue that includes broadcast and digital ads, immigration town-hall meetings, phone-banking and advocacy work.
The initiative comes as a discharge petition to force a House vote on immigration policy gains steam. The effort, led by a group of moderate GOP lawmakers, has garnered signatures from 21 Republicans, several of whom are facing tough re-election bids in swing states in November.
If just five more Republicans sign on, along with all 193 Democrats in the House, the effort will be successful.
The Libre ads are aimed at members of leadership in both parties and in both chambers, as well as senators from states with growing mexicano populations.
"Tell Speaker Ryan, it's time for a permanent, bipartisan solution," reads one of the mailers. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Leader chuck schumer, and House Minority Leader nancy pukelosi are also targets of the ads.

Race Hoaxer Rachel Dolezal May Be Going to Prison For Lying About THIS.

 05/26/2018 by: AAN

Former Spokane, Wash. NCAA leader Rachel Dolezal, who made international headlines in 2015 when it was revealed she was a white woman falsely claiming to be black, has been criminally charged on three counts relating to a welfare fraud scheme.

She has been charged with first degree theft by welfare fraud, perjury in the second degree, and false verification for public assistance, after investigators discovered she lied about her income in order to qualify for welfare payments.

Dolezal, who now admits she is biologically white but continues to call herself black, legally changed her name to Nkechi Diallo.

“According to court documents, Diallo illegally received $8,747 in food assistance, and illegally received $100 in childcare assistance. Total restitution, according to the documents, is $8,847, allegedly stolen from August 2015 through November 2017,” Spokane NBC affiliate KHQ reported in breaking the story.

KHQ reports the investigation began in March 2017 when welfare officials learned Diallo has published a book about her life, but had not reported any income or royalties.

Subpoenaed bank records reveal Diallo deposited a total of $83,924 into her bank account between August 2015 and September 2017. In filings for welfare payments during that time Diallo reported her income as less than $500 a month.

Just as she did when confronted about her race claims in 2015, Diallo tried to pretend there was no issue, then refused to answer any further questions.

The State of Washington is seeking restitution for the defrauded payments, and may seek a prison term of up to 15 years.

Several months before being exposed as a race hoaxster, Diallo she told police she was being targeted by white supremacists who were mailing her threatening letters at the Spokane NAACP’s post office box.

A police investigation revealed the letters could not have been mailed, as they had no stamps or postmarks, and only Diallo and the mail carrier had access to the mailbox. No postal employee reported handling or seeing the envelopes, leaving Diallo as the only possible source for the letters.

Diallo was previously employed by Eastern Washington University where, in her online biography, she claimed to have been the victim of “at least eight documented hate crimes [targeting her] and her children during her residency in North Idaho.”

In each case, Diallo was the only witness. Diallo claimed racists painted a swastika on the door of the Human Rights Education Institute at which she worked, but no one witnessed the incident and the group’s security cameras had been turned off. HREI suspected Diallo staged it.

Diallo also claims racists left a noose on her front porch. Again, there were no witnesses.

A neighbor recognized the rope as one he had fashioned into a makeshift noose a year earlier to hang up a deer for processing, but the rope had gone missing.

Investigators called Diallo to ask about the neighbor’s statement, at which of course, she did not return their call.

"Policeman" by Paul Harvey done in the style of that wonderful SUPER BOWL commercial "God Made A Farmer" narrated by Paul Harvey. This is a tribute to the many police officers who risk their lives daily. We should never forget who are the first ones we call, when we are in danger.

Cornyn: We’ll ‘Stay as Long as It Takes’ to Get Appeals Court Judges Through, ‘Including the Month of August’.

 5/26/18 By: IaHanchett

On Saturday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Hugh Hewitt,” Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn (R-TX) vowed the Senate “will stay as long as it takes,” to get Appeals Court nominees through, “including the month of August.”

Cornyn said there has been “unprecedented foot-dragging and obstruction when it comes to non-controversial nominees, burning the time on the clock on the floor, as you know, which is a scarce resource, on non-controversial nominees that get confirmed almost 100-0.
So, I think we need to put the pressure on Democrats, Senator schumer (D-NY).
Because they’re the ones, frankly, who are most exposed, as you know, in the midterm elections.”
Host Hugh Hewitt then asked, “If they don’t, will you stay all summer long, if need be, to get those 20 more Appeals Court judges nominated, confirmed, and put on the bench, Senator Cornyn, even if it’s all through the long, hot days of August here inside the Beltway?”
Cornyn answered, “Well, we will stay as long as it takes, including the month of August.”

Nearly 700 aliens Rescued in Single Texas Border Patrol Sector.

Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo Sector saved the lives ...

 5/24/18 Bob Price

Laredo Sector agents reported the rescues of more than 680 illegal aliens whose lives were put in danger by cartel-connected human smugglers, according to information obtained by Breitbart Texas from Laredo Sector officials. The rescues occurred along the Rio Grand River, in ranches where aliens attempt to circumvent Border Patrol immigration checkpoints, also in cars, trucks, and 18-wheelers.

Officials report that while the number is high, it is actually down 9% from the previous year in the same period.

In the past week, agents added to their totals in four separate rescue efforts.
Laredo Sector Marine Unit agents rescued five Guatemalan nationals on May 10 who were clinging to branches after being abandoned by their callous human smugglers. The river is currently experiencing rapid currents and deep-water conditions, Laredo Sector officials stated. The Marine Unit agents quickly pulled all five Guatemalans into their boat and took them to the station where they could face prosecution for illegal entry into the U.S.
Laredo North agents responded to a call for assistance from an illegal alien who became lost on a ranch located northwest of the Texas border town. After being abandoned by his human smuggler and wandering in the brush for three days without food or water, the alien national finally called for help on May 9. Agents located the Guatemalan national and found him suffering from dehydration and severe foot blisters. An agent trained in emergency medicine treated the man.

Agents assigned to the Cotulla Station and the Laredo Horse Patrol Unit rescued another illegal alien on a ranch located northwest of Laredo. The agents came upon the man while tracking a group of illegal aliens who had just crossed the border. The agents treated the man for dehydration. The mxican national also claimed to have been assaulted by his human smuggler. After addressing the man’s immediate medical needs, the agents transported him to a hospital for further treatment.

On May 7, Laredo North agents responded to another call of an illegal alien lost on a ranch northwest of Laredo. The call came too late for the man’s cousin, who died from exposure to the harsh conditions in South Texas, officials stated.

After locating the lost migrant, agents assisted the man for dehydration and transported him to a hospital for treatment. Later that day, agents recovered the body of the man’s cousin.

“These events illustrate how the men and women of the United States Border Patrol not only serve to protect our borders, but are also committed to the preservation of life and assist anyone in need,” Assistant Chief Patrol Agent Gabriel H. Acosta said in a written statement.

Border Patrol Agents Save Life of alien abndoned by Smugglers, Recover 2 Bodies.

 5/26/18 By: Bob Price

Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector saved the life of an illegal alien who human smugglers abandoned in Brooks County, Texas.

Within days, agents recovered the remains of two other aliens who were not as fortunate. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Falfurrias Station in Brooks County responded to an emergency beacon on April 22.

The beacon is located on a ranch about 80 miles from the Texas border with Mexico. Agents found a alien who had been abandoned by the cartel-connected smugglers who attempt to march them through dangerous conditions around the Falfurrias Checkpoint.

Agents provided emergency medical assistance to the alien, according to information provided to Breitbart Texas by Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol officials.
“Smugglers do not feel any empathy for those who succumb to the Texas heat,” Chief Patrol Agent Manuel Padilla, Jr. said in a written statement. “While we have committed technology and resources toward our humanitarian efforts for life preservation, we highly caution aliens who contemplate placing their lives in the hands of smugglers.”
The following day, Falfurrias Station agents responded to a much less fortunate alien. The agents were conducting patrols on a ranch in an attempt to find the aliens before they can become endangered by being abandoned by the smugglers. The agents came across the human remains of an alien who had been left to die in the field.
Brooks County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene with a local justice of the peace. The deputies recovered the remains. The remains will be transported to a medical examiner who will attempt to determine the identity of the deceased alien.
Human smugglers, mostly connected to Mexican drug cartels, transport their “human cargo” from stash houses in the Rio Grande Valley to the southern part of Brooks County.
The U.S. Border Patrol operates a checkpoint that is centrally located in the county. There are no other roads around the checkpoint so the smugglers drop their loads on the ranches and force march the aliens to roads in the northern half of the county.
“The more people that are pushed into the ranchlands with these human smugglers, the more deaths we are likely to have,” Brooks County Sheriff Benny Martinez told Breitbart Texas in an interview. “These smugglers just don’t care about the lives of these people. If they fall behind for any reason — these smugglers abandon them and leave them for dead.”

“We are fortunate to have the Border Patrol agents in our area to help prevent these needless deaths at the hands of smugglers,” Martinez said. “They work diligently to try and find the aliens before they are abandoned and they respond quickly when people call for help.”

Two days later, agents assigned to the Kingsville Station discovered another deceased alien on a ranch near Armstrong, Texas, in Kenedy County. Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and recovered the remains.

“While the primary duty of our agents is to safeguard America’s borders, they are also working diligently to preserve life when the situations arise,” RGV Sector Chief Patrol Agent Padilla told Breitbart Texas in response to an inquiry. “Our message to all aliens who are determined to enter the United States illegally is to reconsider the dangerous decision of placing their lives in the hands of smugglers.”

Despite the efforts of Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley, 60 migrants have been found dead since October 1 because of the callous actions of cartel-connected human smugglers.

*** ANOTHER FUNNY JOKE! ****

killary: ‘Democrats — We Believe In Facts, Real Ones, Not the Alternative Kind’.

 5/23/18

Wednesday at the New York State Democratic Party’s convention in Long Island, former Secretary of State and loser of the Democratic presidential nominee killary clinton declared that Democrats “believe in facts.”

clinton said, “I followed in the footsteps of Daniel Patrick Moynihan, someone whose words have been on my mind recently. He said, ‘everyone is entitled to their opinion, but not his own facts.’ Well as Democrats, we believe in facts, real ones, not the alternative kind. It is hard to believe this even needs to be said, but that is where we are these days.”
