Luntz: pukelosi Is So Unpopular, GOP Could Keep House Majority in Midterms.

 5/25/18 By: Pam Key

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” pollster Frank Luntz said the unpopularity of House Minority Leader nancy pukelosi (D-CA) could mean Republicans keep the House majority in November’s midterms.

When asked about the generic congressional vote numbers tightening in favor of Republicans, Luntz said, “I have been tracking this on a weekly basis going back now for a year and a half, and these are the best numbers the GOP had in the last year.

One of the reasons is that women, working women, women with children, have begun to leave the Democratic party. It’s not they are pro-Republican, but what they see among the Democrats is the negativity that turned them off in previous elections.

Second is that nancy pukelosi is simply the least popular credible figure in the Democratic party right now. She is more unpopular than killary and chuck schumer.” He continued, “If Republicans could find some way to engineer a vote over who would be Speaker of the House in January of 2019, if they could engineer that vote, I would be prepared to say right now that the Republicans would keep the majority, because there are so many people out there—swing voters—who do not want pukelosi as Speaker that one action would make a difference.”

President Trump Signs Executive Orders to Speed Up Firing of ‘Poor Performing’ Federal Workers.

  5/25/1

President Donald Trump signed a series of executive orders on Friday that will expedite the process of terminating “poor performing” federal government employees.

The new rules will “require all federal employees to devote at least 75 percent of their work hours for agency purposes, senior administration officials said. The administration estimates that these actions could save taxpayers at least $100 million a year, BuzzFeed reports.

“These executive orders make it easier for agencies to remove poor performing employees and ensure that taxpayer dollars are more efficiently used,” Andrew Bremberg, the White House’s director of the domestic policy, told reporters.

Despite the move largely benefiting U.S. taxpayers, not everyone is excited about the move.

J. David Cox Sr., president of the American Federation of Government Employees, says the new rules are against the interest of everyday Americans.

"Our government is built on a system of checks and balances to prevent any one person from having too much influence,” Cox said in a statement. “President Trump’s executive orders will undo all of that. This administration seems hellbent on replacing a civil service that works for all taxpayers with a political service that serves at its whim.”

In signing the three orders, President Trump is acting where Congress has failed.

During his State of the Union address in January, President Trump called on lawmakers to pass a bill that would expedite the firing process.

A senior Trump administration official told Bloomberg that the new rules “achieve a similar aim.”

EXCLUSIVE — Sanctuary Cities Subject to ‘Stiffest Penalties in America,’ Says Texas Governor.

5/8/17 by Bob Price  Austin, TX

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said law enforcement and other officials implementing sanctuary policies that release criminal aliens with immigration detainers will now be subject to the “stiffest penalties in America!

He also rebutted the hype and fear mongering being spread by some legislators, liberal chiefs of police, sheriffs, and media outlets.

Abbott’s comments came during an exclusive interview with Breitbart Texas immediately following his signing of the historic bill that effectively outlaws sanctuary jurisdictions in the Lone Star State.

The law creates civil and criminal penalties for those who refuse to cooperate with immigration officials and provides for jail time for a sheriff or police chief who releases a criminal alien subject to an immigration detainer. He also took the opportunity to counter the claims that this is a “show me your papers” law and is somehow unconstitutional.

Democrat legislators and left-of-center Texas news outlets claims about the constitutionality of a provision in the law allowing police officers to inquire about the immigration status of someone they have detained drew pointed criticism from the governor.
In an article published April 29 in the Dallas Morning News, State Representative Rafael Anchia (D-Dallas) said SB4 is unconstitutional because states are pre-empted by federal law in the area of immigration and are not permitted to conduct their own investigation. “The Supreme Court struck down most of the provisions of the Arizona immigration law on this basis.”

Abbott told Breitbart Texas this article “directly misstated what the legal status of this law was out of the U.S. Supreme Court – in the Arizona decision.”

“The so-called controversial part of this law is what some label as the “show your papers” component,” the Texas governor explained. “And what everyone seems to get wrong is that they think that provision was stricken down in the Arizona law. ----

To the contrary, the provision in the Arizona law is stricter than the Texas law. The Arizona law required that law enforcement ASK for papers. The Texas law does not require it, it allows it so there is that one difference.”

“But despite that difference, the Arizona law was upheld by every U.S. Supreme Court justice, including the liberals,” he said emphatically. “The so-called controversial part of this law has been ruled on by the U.S. Supreme Court and upheld,” the governor emphasized.

Abbott reassured American citizens living in Texas this bill does nothing to change their daily lives. “For American citizens, this bill has no impact on them whatsoever, and they have absolutely nothing to be concerned about,” Abbott reassured. “There’s only one group of people that is targeted by this legislation and that is people who are in this country illegally, who have committed violent crimes, and are subject to an ICE detainer request.”

“No one has to do anything different from the way they’ve been operating their lives before this law was signed,” he said referring to a situation where someone is stopped for a traffic violation, ”because it poses no danger, no challenge, no difficulty, for any American citizen."

The law’s author, Senator Charles Perry (R-Lubbock), said police can already inquire about the immigration status of a person they detain, during a Q&A on the Senate Floor during final passage of the bill. He said this bill doesn’t change anything in this regard and citizens and legal residents do not need “carry papers” to prove they are here legally.

The new law does pose a threat to law enforcement officials who choose to ignore detainer requests on illegal immigrants in their jails from immigration officials.

“All law enforcement officers are going to be required to follow this law,” the governor stated. “If they refuse to follow this law, or if they adopt sanctuary city policies, they are subject now to the stiffest penalties in America for adopting sanctuary city policies – which includes jail time where sheriffs could wind up in the same jail they may be releasing inmates from who are the subject of ICE detainer requests.”

“But these officials also are subject to a removal action,” he advised, “and the counties or cities in which they operate are subject to very stiff fines.” The governor said these fines can go up to $25,000 per day. The law makes ignoring an immigration detainer a Class A misdemeanor, Breitbart Texas reported.

Referring to Travis County Sheriff Sally Hernandez and Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez, who have either ignored or threatened to ignore immigration detainers, Abbott said they must come into compliance with the law. “If they don’t change their policies, if they continue to handle detainers on a case-by-case basis that means they will be in violation of this law and subject to its penalties,” he said firmly.

Governor Abbott explained that he believes this law will make Texas a safer place and help avoid tragedies like what happened in the sanctuary city of San Francisco with the murder of Kate Steinle by a previously deported illegal alien released from the local jail.

“This law makes Texans safer because it prevents the types of policies that California has that lead to the tragic murder of Kate Steinle. It prevents the types of policies that were adopted by the Travis County sheriff who had policies that release back out on the street, people who are either accused of, or even convicted of, very dangerous crimes and so Texas is going to be a safer place by ensuring that law enforcement will work with federal officials to ensure that we keep behind bars, and remove from this country, those who pose a danger to our fellow Americans.”

The new sanctuary city law goes into effect September 1, 2017.

What Texas Just Did Will Have Illegals Running Back Across the Border!

GOP Challenger Emerges in Mexifornia.
5/25/18
Mexifornia, which killary clinton won by nearly four million votes in 2016, has become ground zero for the burgeoning “resistance” movement against President Donald Trump.
The state’s political leaders have openly clashed with the Trump administration on issues far and wide, including border security, the travel ban, vehicle emission standards, and the decennial census, to name a few.
Yet one Democrat appears to be actively courting Republican voters in his bid to become governor of Mexifornia.
On paper, Antonio Villaraigosa seems like an unlikely choice for Mexifornia’s shrinking GOP electorate to rally around. A former speaker of the Mexifornia State Assembly and mayor of Los Angeles, Villaraigosa got his start in politics as a union organizer. In 1994, as a newly minted state legislator, he cut a progressive profile by championing legislation to raise income taxes on Mexifornia’s highest earners and expand access to health care. As mayor, Villaraigosa trumpeted gun-control measures and promoted tax increases to pay for expanding Los Angeles’s transportation infrastructure.
It looks likely, however, that the Mexifornia Republican Party will be locked out of this fall’s general election for the state’s top political office.

Texas Takes Radical Measures To Stop Sanctuary Cities. *** DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS! ****

The Texas House passed a tough anti-sanctuary bill containing provisions making it a crime for sheriffs and chiefs of police to refuse to cooperate with immigration officials. They could also be removed from office for providing “sanctuary” for the criminal illegal aliens in their jails.

Senate Bill 4 finally passed the Texas House Thursday afternoon by a vote of 94-53 along party lines.

Following the bill’s final passage in the House, the Texas House Republican Caucus sent out a statement saying the bill ensure federal immigration laws that are on the books will be followed and enforced in Texas!

The caucus stated the bill prevents local entities from creating policies that threaten public safety.

“The purpose of this legislation is to protect Texans from criminals who are here illegally.

We are trying to make sure those bad actors are detained until we can determine their status, ” said House Administration Committee Chairman Charlie Geren (R-Fort Worth).

“This bill will not affect law abiding citizens, only those that are in trouble with the police.”

The One Trump Video the Media's Hiding.

05/24/18 Source: TTN by: Donny Bomenabori

President Trump doesn't put up a front. He's the same man when the cameras are on, and when they are off; that makes him stand out in Washington, where politicians typically say one thing on camera and another when you can't see them.
The media won't show you this, but you can get a rare glimpse of this phenomenon.
   https://pbs.twimg.com/ext_tw_video_thumb/999410978134478850/pu/img/...
President Trump had just finished up a roundtable event in Bethpage, N.Y. where he met with the families of victims of the MS-13 gang; the same gang the media attacked the president for characterizing as "animals", for their savage crimes. As the president prepared to depart, he noticed a line of local police officers who wanted to see him off. President Trump did not ignore them!
President Trump is real. He made it a point to thank police officers, who are on the front line fighting MS-13 every day. New York's Long Island has some of the most violent and persistent MS-13 crimes in the country. The president doesn't take that lightly, as he demonstrated last week when he consoled the family of slain NYPD officer Miosotis Familia at the White House.
President Trump has stood up for police officers ever since he took office, even as NFL players were kneeling during the national anthem to protest the police and trying to rally the public against them. He treats the police much better than his predecessor did, and they notice the difference!

Ex-Southern Illinois University player Jason Seaman was shot 3 times, intervened to stop attacker.
  5/26/18 ESPN News Services
Jason Seaman, a former defensive lineman at Southern Illinois, was the teacher who intervened to help stop a shooter at a middle school in Indiana on Friday.
After a student armed with two handguns opened fire at Noblesville West Middle School in suburban Indianapolis on Friday morning, Seaman was shot in the abdomen, hip and forearm.
Seaman released a statement Friday evening confirming he was injured and thanking first responders.
"First of all, thank you to the first responders from Noblesville and Fishers for their immediate action and care," Seaman said. "I want to let everyone know that I was injured but am doing great. To all students, you are all wonderful and I thank you for your support. You are the reason I teach!"
Police said Seaman, who is hospitalized in Indianapolis, is in good condition,
and the wounded girl student in the shooting is in critical condition.
Noblesville police Lt. Bruce Barnes said in a news release Friday night that the girl was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital. She has not been identified.
Police said there were no apparent injuries to the alleged shooter, who was not identified.
Students and parents said Seaman, a science teacher who also coaches football and track, helped stop the shooter, who pulled out a gun and opened fire while a seventh-grade class was taking a test.
"Our science teacher immediately ran at him, swatted a gun out of his hand and tackled him to the ground,'' seventh-grader Ethan Stonebraker said. "If it weren't for him, more of us would have been injured for sure.''
Police said a male student asked to be excused from class, returning with the guns, and investigators believe he acted alone.
Jacob Long, an eighth-grader, said students throughout the school were crying in their classrooms while teachers took off their belts to tie their doors. Long knew Seaman because he played football and ran track.
"He's a good coach and a good teacher," Long told the Indianapolis Star, "an all-around good man."
Mac Lynas, a seventh-grader who also played football said, "He's a good coach, a good person." Janna Lynas, Mac's mother, said Seaman cares about the kids. "More than just developing football players," she said, "he wants to develop kids into young men."
Seaman played at Southern Illinois from 2007 to 2010. He played in 47 career games and tallied eight sacks with two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
Nick Hill, the head football coach at SIU and a former teammate of Seaman's, called Seaman a hero in a tweet on Friday.
Salukis head coach played one season with Jason Seaman, the hero of school shooting in Indiana. "He was a great teammate, one of the team's hardest workers. You could always trust him to do the right thing."
Jerry Kill, the former SIU football coach who oversees the Salukis' athletic department, recruited Seaman.
"Someone asked me if I was surprised by what he did, and I said 'absolutely not,' he was that type of kid," Kill said. "That's what he stood for. He's a great young man."
Jeremy Seaman told the Indianapolis Star that his brother's actions did not surprise him. "He's never been the type of person to run away," Jeremy Seaman said. "When the safety of the kids is at hand, it's not surprising to me that he was going to do what he had to do."
Jeremy Seaman said his brother was a three-sport athlete in Mahomet, Illinois. He tore an ACL, playing basketball in his junior year but was back on the football field in August. "He's familiar with struggle and adversity," his brother said.
Noblesville, about 50,000 people is about 20 miles northeast of Indianapolis.
The middle school grades 6 through 8 has about 1,300 students.

The school's academic year was scheduled to end next Friday.
