OUR PRESENT SITUATION !
Children of Congress members do not have to pay back their college student loans.
Staffers of Congress family members are also exempt from having to pay back student loans.
Members of Congress can retire at full pay after only one term.
Members of Congress have exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed, under which ordinary citizens must live.
For example, they are exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment. (BULLSHIT)
And as the latest example, they have exempted themselves from Healthcare Reform, in all of its aspects.
We must not tolerate an elite class of such people, elected as public servants and then putting themselves above the law!!
I don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent, or whatever. The self-serving must stop.
Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon their states.

It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention.
If each person that receives this will forward it on to 20 people, in three days most people in The United States of America will have the message.
Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:
"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the Citizens of the United States ..."
This is an idea that should be passed around, regardless of political party.
Congressional Reform Act of 2017
1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. And, no more perks go with them.
2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as ALL Americans do!!
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people (i.e. NO MORE INSIDER TRADING!!!).
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts by and for themselves.
Serving in Congress is an honor and privledge NOT a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work … not get all kinds of freebies. **** I agree 100%!! **** Bull--

White House says all options are on the table during the border security funding negotiations; Ellison Barber reports.

President Trump warned Friday that if Democrats do not agree to his demands to fund a wall on the southern border, he will “close the Southern border entirely” and cut aid to Central American countries — while pulling back on trade with Mexico.

“We will be forced to close the Southern Border entirely if the Obstructionist Democrats do not give us the money to finish the Wall & also change the ridiculous immigration laws that our Country is saddled with,” he tweeted Friday morning. “Hard to believe there was a Congress & President who would approve!”

The tweetstorm came amid the partial government shutdown that will soon enter its second week. The closures began last Saturday after Republicans and Democrats were unable to agree on a funding package that would keep the government open and fund Trump’s promised border wall. Trump has demanded $5 billion for the barrier, but Democrats have refused, instead offering $1.3 billion for general border security.

With both sides refusing to budge and little activity on Capitol Hill amid the holiday break, there are no signs of the impasse ending anytime soon. One member of the House Republican leadership told Fox News on Thursday that a resolution may not emerge until the new year.

But on Friday, Trump not only renewed his demands for the wall, but threatened numerous consequences in the absence of that money. He even suggested pulling back on the recently renegotiated North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which now goes by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

“The United States looses soooo much money on Trade with Mexico under NAFTA, over 75 Billion Dollars a year (not including Drug Money which would be many times that amount), that I would consider closing the Southern Border a ‘profit making operation,'” he tweeted.

“Bring our car industry back into the United States where it belongs. Go back to pre-NAFTA, before so many of our companies and jobs were so foolishly sent to Mexico,” he carried on. “Either we build (finish) the Wall or we close the Border.”

He then said "the U.S. would terminate aid with Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, which he said are doing “nothing for the United States but taking our money,” and referred to reports that another caravan of migrants hoping to get to the U.S. is planning on leaving Honduras in January. Word is that a new Caravan is forming in Honduras and they are doing nothing about it. We will be cutting off all aid to these 3 countries – taking advantage of U.S. for years!

Trump has previously threatened to shut down the border, but took no action to do so following those threats. He also previously threatened to cut aid to countries that assist, or do nothing to stop, the caravans. But earlier this month, the U.S. pledged a total of $10.6 billion in aid and investment for Central America and southern Mexico — as part of a push to promote better security and job opportunities so that Central Americans and Mexicans do not have to emigrate to the U.S.

A cut-off of trade relations with Mexico could also risk a new agreement that DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen announced this month that calls for immigrants claiming asylum in the U.S. to be returned to Mexico as their cases are processed.
Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s incoming acting chief of staff, claimed Friday on “Fox & Friends” that it appeared Senate Democratic Leader chuck schumer is interested in a deal but Speaker-designate nancy pukelosi is preventing it. He alleged Democrats are not dealing because Pelosi is waiting until she secures the speakership.

“We don’t think they will [negotiate] until after the new Congress is sworn in,” he said.

But pukelosi has denied claims they haven’t provided a counteroffer.

“Democrats have offered Republicans three options to re-open government that all include funding for strong, sensible, and effective border security – but not the President’s immoral, ineffective and expensive wall,” said Drew Hammill, pukelosi’s deputy chief of staff. “With the House Majority, Democrats will act swiftly to end the Trump Shutdown, and will fight for a strategic, robust national security policy, including strong and smart border security, and strong support for our service members and veterans.”

On Monday, the Department of Elections issued voter registration forms to illegal aliens to vote for members of the San Francisco Board of Education in the 2018 election, reports ABC7 News.

San Francisco is the first city in the state to allow non-citizens to vote in local elections.

“As a parent myself and a former member of the SF Board of Education it is critical that the voices of all parents are at the table particularly those that have historically been denied a voice in the process,” said Supervisor Sandra Lee Fewer who represents District 1. “We want to give immigrants the right to vote,” said Supervisor Norman Yee who represents District 7.

This November will be the first election in which non-citizens can register to vote.

“Third time was a charm,” said San Francisco School Board member Matt Haney.

School Board member Matt Haney was the co-author of the resolution endorsing the measure. He says the school board was in full support of it. “I think it’s critical that all of our families have a voice in the governance of our schools,” said Haney.

Mexifornia Republican National Committeewoman, Harmeet Dhillon voted against the measure in 2016 and called giving illegals the right to vote in local elections in San Fran “another bad, bad idea from America’s utopian petri dish. Yet another bad, bad idea from America’s utopian Petri dish, my home town. I share my concerns over illegal resident voting here: SF Department of Elections issues voter registration forms for non-citizens."

To be able to register to vote in the Board of Education election, illegal aliens must be ‘residents’ of San Francisco, at least 18 years old on election day and parents, legal guardians or caregivers of children under the age of 19 who also reside in San Francisco, reported ABC.

The Democrat party cares not for taxpaying American citizens. They cater to illegal aliens. They are turning the illegals into one huge voting block in order to permanently entrench the Dem party as we are seeing with this move to allow non-citizens to vote and other ‘motor voter’ laws.

Feds in El Paso: Rep. o’rourke Called to Ban Contact with Judicial Watch.

Federal law enforcement sources in El Paso say that U.S. Rep. beto o'rourke dem. called their office to prohibit contact with Judicial Watch in the aftermath of a disturbing story confirming that Islamic terrorists are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez.

Sources tell JW that beto o’rourke, a Democrat who represents El Paso in the U.S. House of Representatives, telephoned the area offices of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) in an effort to identify—and evidently intimidate—sources that may have been used by JW. On August 29 JW reported that the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) is working in Juarez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED).

In the piece JW cites high-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources confirming that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border has been issued. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat.

In the aftermath of JW’s story Ft. Bliss, an El Paso Army base near Juarez, increased security measures and the sheriff in Midland County Texas—located halfway between Ft. Worth and El Paso—confirmed that he received an alert bulletin warning from the feds that ISIS may have formed a terrorist cell in or near Juarez.

o’rourke evidently believes that someone on the inside is feeding JW information because the facts in all our reporting have been correct, according to government sources with first-hand knowledge of the matter.

“He called the El Paso offices of the FBI, HSI and USBP asking if anyone was talking to Judicial Watch,” one inside source told JW this week.

o’rourke’s calls were followed by a memo that came down through the chain of command threatening to terminate or criminally charge any agent who speaks to media of any kind.

This would include JW, a nonprofit legal watchdog that has broken a number of government corruption stories on its website and newsletter.

Of course, Congressman o’rourke’s office emphatically denies making any phone calls to any El Paso federal law enforcement offices related to this matter. His director of communications, John Meza, assures that no one in the congressman’s office—including the congressman himself—has talked to any law enforcement agencies or officials to discourage or question contact with JW or any other media outlet. “We don’t do that,” Meza said.

The obuma administration steadfastly denies that islamic terrorists are operating in Juarez, even as facts continue to unfold proving otherwise.

Though the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has failed to respond to multiple inquiries from Judicial Watch, both telephonic and in writing, about this information it has issued statements in the media rejecting the story. Is it possible that the administration called upon a trusted ally, a federal lawmaker from the targeted area, to silence the whistle blowers?

After all, the administration has for years covered up, or at the very least downplayed, a serious epidemic of crime along the Mexican border even as heavily armed drug cartels have taken over portions of the region.

JW has reported that the U.S. Border Patrol actually ordered officers to avoid the most crime-infested stretches because they’re “too dangerous” and patrolling them could result in an “international incident” of cross border shooting.

And who could forget the famous words of obuma’s first Homeland Security Secretary, janet napolitano; " the southern border is “as secure as it has ever been.”

While the nation is absorbed with presidential election theatrics, the Obama administration continues letting huge amounts of illegal immigrants to pour in through the southern border and the latest figures released by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are incredibly chilling. The number of family units apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol in the first 11 months of fiscal year 2016 nearly doubled from the previous year, according to updated information released by the agency. The majority of these illegal border crossers will remain in the country under Obama’s special refugee and family reunification programs.

Fiscal years run from October through August and the latest available government stats show a 97% increase in the number of illegal immigrant family units this fiscal year compared to the same period in 2015. Family units are described as containing a child under 18 with a parent or legal guardian. Minors, classified as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), are also entering in droves, the DHS numbers reveal, with a 52% increase in apprehensions this fiscal year compared to 2015. In recent years the Obama administration has allowed tens of thousands of UACs, mostly from Central America, remain in the U.S. after crossing the Mexican border.

Initially, the influx of illegal alien minors received lots of media attention but the coverage has fizzled even though the crisis continues. In the first 11 months of the fiscal year the Border Patrol apprehended 54,052 UACs compared to 35,485 in 2015. The overwhelming majority of UACs—33,183—entered the U.S. through the Rio Grande Valley sector in Texas. During the initial surge in 2014, 48,468 UACs came in through the Rio Grande Valley and the number dropped to 21,131 last year before rising again this year. The same pattern applies to other crossings, some more pronounced than others. For instance, the Yuma sector in Arizona saw a 227% increase in apprehensions from last year and the El Paso sector in Texas a 133% increase.

The same crossings were the busiest for family units, the Border Patrol figures show. So far this fiscal year, 45,672 of the 68,080 illegal immigrant family units have crossed into the U.S. through the Rio Grande Valley, which saw an alarming 91% rise from last year. The El Paso sector had an astounding 361% boost in family units compared to last year with Yuma and El Centro in California 278% and 124% respectively. In both the family and UAC cases, the numbers spiked in 2014, dipped considerably in 2015 and came back up in 2016. Most of the family units came from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, though a few thousand came from Mexico. The majority of UACs also came from the same three Central American countries but a much larger chunk—10,854—are Mexican.

There seems to be no end to this madness, which continues to cost American taxpayers monstrous sums because the Obama administration allows most of these illegal immigrants to stay in the U.S. as refugees. Tens of thousands have been released to the custody of relatives, a majority of them also illegal aliens. Government records obtained earlier this year by the Washington D.C.-based Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) show that 80% of the 71,000 UACs placed between February 2014 and September 2015 were released to sponsors who are in the United States illegally. In more than half the cases the illegal alien minors were placed with parents, CIS writes in a report, and the rest were released to siblings, aunts and uncles. The Obama administration says it’s a family reunification program.

The cost to American taxpayers is outrageous. Besides the tens of millions of dollars that public school districts nationwide must spend to accommodate these kids’ special needs, the federal government uses a special Refugee and Entrant Assistance Account to help the UACs integrate in the U.S. as well as a separate Unaccompanied Children (UC) program with a billion-dollar budget.

In its report the CIS states that the UC budget request for fiscal year 2017 is $1.226 billion, which marks an increase of $278 million from fiscal year 2016.

The Refugee and Entrant Assistance budget is also massive at $2,184,860,000 in fiscal year 2017, a $510 increase over 2016. Additionally, the obuma administration uses funds from a $70 million slush account for “unexpected urgent refugee and migration needs,” the CIS reveals.

In the last few days alone, an illegal immigrant who had been deported eleven times attacked his wife with a chainsaw in front of their children, another got charged with a series of violent rapes and dozens were arrested for operating a major human and drug smuggling enterprise in a major U.S. city.

The gruesome chainsaw attack occurred in Los Angeles County, which has long offered illegal immigrants sanctuary. A man named Alejandro Alvarez-Villegas, deported to his native Mexico 11 times since 2005, tried to kill his wife with a chainsaw.

In local media reports, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) refers to him as a “serial immigration violator,” but the agency fails to explain how that could possibly occur. Alvarez-Villegas has been charged with seven felonies and is being held without bail.

One Mexifornia newspaper worries that the assailant’s immigration status will fuel calls for a big wall on the border with Mexico and spark “illegal immigration foes to point to the U.S. immigration system as a failure in need of revamping.” Which is true!!

Several hundred miles north in San Francisco, an illegal immigrant from Peru recently got charged with rape by force or violence and other crimes. The 37-year-old, Orlando Vilchez Lazo, was a driver for the ride-sharing company Lyft who somehow passed a background check. Lazo faces life in prison and is being held in jail in San Francisco on $4.2 million bail.

San Francisco has long provided Illegal aliens with sanctuary and forbids it law enforcement agencies from cooperating with federal immigration officials.

Judicial Watch has sued the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department (SFSD) to prevent the use of taxpayer funds on policies that prohibit department personnel from cooperating with federal immigration law enforcement officials. Back in 2008 Judicial Watch investigated the SFSD’s handling of an illegal alien (Edwin Ramos) charged with the triple murder of three innocent American citizens. Ramos, who had been arrested on three prior occasions and convicted with two felonies, was never turned over to federal immigration authorities for removal to his native El Salvador under San Francisco’s sanctuary policies.

In the other recent case involving serious illegal immigrant criminal activity, 18 human smugglers and 117 illegal aliens got arrested in three stash houses in the area surrounding El Paso, Texas and southern New Mexico. Most of the illegal aliens—93—are from Mexico and the rest from Guatemala (12), Honduras (6), Brazil (3), El Salvador (2) and Peru (1). At least three of the illegal immigrants have serious criminal records, according to information released by ICE. A 32-year-old Mexican man busted in the ring has convictions for child endangerment and driving while intoxicated as well as being arrested for illegally re-entering the U.S. after being deported.

A 30-year-old Mexican has ties to a drug cartel and was previously arrested for fraud and misuse of visas.

A 34-year-old Guatemalan has an outstanding warrant in Florida for driving under the influence and has also been charged with illegally re-entering the U.S. after deportation, according to the feds.

Besides arresting the criminal elements, the feds also seized more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana in the El Paso bust, large amounts of U.S. and Mexican cash, nine vehicles and three tractor-trailers.

Two American citizens were nabbed in the operation, including a 42-year-old man with prior convictions for aggravated stalking, kidnaping, possessing a deadly weapon and possessing marijuana with intent to distribute. The other U.S. citizen, a 25-year-old man, has prior convictions for escape from custody, possessing marijuana, assault and driving while intoxicated. While all this is going on, the overwhelming majority of immigration-related media coverage continues to focus on children being separated from their parents. A new national poll reveals that most Americans consider immigration the most important problem facing the nation.

A suburban Pittsburgh school district is investigating a potentially bias-fueled fight between two students in a high school bathroom, reports CBS Pittsburgh. The incident was caught on video, which went viral.

It happened in the Chartiers Valley School District, southwest of Pittsburgh.

Authorities say a girl is accused of attacking another girl, who appeared to be wearing a hijab.

The video shows one of them arguing with, then allegedly attacking a smaller student, who was wearing a hijab.

The words exchanged weren't totally clear but a student wearing purple could be heard saying, "You're lucky you're from another language, because I will crush you."

The Council on American-islamic Relations, or CAIR, said, "The muslim student was treated later for a concussion and severe bruising. Criminal charges are pending."

CAIR called on state and federal officials to investigate the incident for possible bias and said it's offering legal support to the student's family.

Several students CBS Pittsburgh spoke with called the incident unacceptable, adding that the girl in purple has a reputation for causing trouble and that they're hoping the district takes strong disciplinary action.

The district released a statement saying it "does not condone or tolerate violence of any kind and will enforce consequences to the fullest extent.

The District considers matters of student safety and security to be of utmost importance and strives to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment for all of its students and staff."

The Collier Township Police Department said it's looking into the incident. So far, the department said, it considers it bullying, rather than a hate crime. **** I'm glad to hear that. ****BULL

Any possible charges and disciplinary action were pending.
