8/3/18 by: True Daily Staff
An illegal who had been deported multiple times has committed a horrific act. The Daily Wire reports:
A twice-deported illegal alien from Mexico was arraigned on Monday for the murder of a New York woman.
Jose Olmos-Torres, who entered the United States illegally on three occasions and has been deported twice, murdered a homeless woman whose body was found outside of an armory in New Rochelle on Friday.
Olmos-Torres is charged with second-degree murder and is set to appear in New Rochelle City Court on Friday for a felony hearing, reports lohud.com.
Olmos-Torres, also homeless, was subsequently arrested on Saturday.

Communist Offers Bounty for ICE Agents – This Happens.
8/10/18 True Daily Staff
A Massachusetts leftist offered a bounty for dead ICE agents.
Then, the Federal government stepped in. PJ Media reports: A far-left Boston-area man was arrested by federal agents in New York Thursday morning after threatening U.S. immigration agents on Twitter.
The threat came as multiple Democratic officials and left-wing pundits were demonizing ICE officers, calling for them to be abolished, and as far-left activists in cities across the nation were protesting ICE facilities.
Leftists will try to justify this as a an attack on the First Amendment, even though making threats is clearly against the law.
Woman who pushed teen off Washington state bridge acting 'as if nothing happened,' report says.
8/13/18 By Ryan Gaydos | Fox News
Cell phone video captures the moment 16-year-old Jordan Holgerson was shoved off of a 50-foot tall Moulton Falls Bridge near Vancouver, Washington.
The woman who allegedly pushed her 16-year-old friend off a Washington state bridge -- causing the teen to break several ribs and suffer a lung injury -- is reportedly acting “as if nothing happened.”
“Taylor hasn't been to visit Jordan to see if she is OK. She clearly doesn't care. She messaged Jordan to say 'sorry' but nobody thinks it was a sincere apology,” the person said.
Holgerson was with a group of friends at the time and had second thoughts about jumping into the Lewis River before she was pushed, she told KGW-TV.
Officials were investigating the incident.

National Review Columnist Calls Out Feminists for Stunning Hypocrisy Over Arming Women.
8/13/18 by Micah Rate
In her latest column for National Review, Bethany Mandel, an editor at Ricochet and columnist at The Forward, explains why “women need guns.”
While saying women need access to firearms for self-defense is a common sense position for Second Amendment supporters and gun rights advocates, gun control proponents often dismiss the idea as absurd.
As Mandel writes in her piece, members of the political left tend to hold two conflicting worldviews. One view is that women in the United States are living in constant danger, that one of the greatest countries in the world is a bigger threat to women than a country like Iran. The other view is that the Second Amendment, or gun rights in general, “should be repealed or, at the very least, drastically curtailed.”
According to a report Mandel cites in her piece, America is “apparently one of the ten most dangerous countries in the world for women.” Now this report, as Mandel notes, is not based on any statistical evidence. The findings come from interviews conducted with supposed “women’s experts.” While the U.S. cracks the top ten, as noted previously, Iran didn’t make the cut.
Mandel goes on to expose the hypocrisy of the left:
"The notion that women are so at risk in the U.S. becomes particularly interesting when one considers that the same liberal ideologues promoting it are also diametrically opposed to gun rights.
Even under constant threat, women, if gun-rights opponents got their way, would not have the ability to protect themselves with the best defenses available. If women were really so threatened, so at risk of rape or assault at any given moment in the workplace and on the streets, what would we want them to have on their persons and in their homes to protect themselves?"
She hit the nail right on the head!
Here at Bearing Arms, we’ve covered several stories where women have needed to use a firearm to defend themselves and their families.
As Tom has noted on more than one occasion, men are, on average, much larger than women. To ask women to protect themselves without a firearm against a significantly bigger attacker is asinine!
For women, owning a firearm and knowing how to use it gives them a significant advantage if dangerous situations arise.
As Mandel says, "a gun levels the playing field for women; it’s called the great equalizer for a reason."
So, if the goal of feminism is to level that playing field throughout society, why do so many feminists oppose arming women to do just that when it comes to violence?
“To most feminists, feminism means eliminating power imbalances between men and women. A physical power imbalance between the sexes will always exist. But guns can level the playing field, potentially saving women’s lives in the process,” Mandel states.
Her piece also touches on the fact that women don’t need a firearm only to protect themselves from people who are outside of the home. Sometimes women need access to a gun to protect them from their spouse or another family member.
“Would we want the strongest defense available to women to be pepper spray or a gun?” Mandel asks.
The answer is the gun, no question.

Former ‘Gun Regulation’ Democratic Candidate Is Now Facing A Murder Charge.
8/13/18 by: Micah Rate
A former Democratic candidate for Congress, who campaigned on gun control and gun regulation just last year, is now being charged with larceny and murder.
Kellie Collins, who ran in Georgia’s 10th Congressional district, was accused of murdering her former campaign treasurer, Curtis Cain last week.
WSBTV-2 in Atlanta reports:
Kellie Collins, of Thomason, turned herself into the McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office just as authorities in Aiken County, South Carolina found the body of Curtis Cain, Collins’ former campaign treasurer.
Investigators said Curtis Cain did not show up for work on Tuesday, so deputies went to his home to check on him. That’s when they found him dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
The coroner said the body had been there for at least four days.
According to the report, Cain’s car was also missing, hence the larceny charge.
The initial report does not state a potential motive for the killing, but one has to wonder how a gun control advocate goes from pushing new regulations to prevent violence to snapping and murdering a former member of her campaign.
WJBF-TV gives more details on some of the rhetoric that Collins engaged in during her short time on the campaign trail.
NewsChannel 6’s Ashley Osborne did some digging into Collins’ political past. Athens, GA news agency, Online Athens, reported one of the positions highlighted on her website was ‘responsible’ gun regulation. Collins said we need to, ‘shield the community from the effects of firearms falling into the wrong hands.’
One year later, she is behind bars charged with the shooting death of her former campaign treasurer.
While running for Congress, Collins told an online blog called Girls Really Rule, she planned to ‘practice what I preach and be a proponent of public policies that benefit the community as a whole.’
Collins’ statement that the community needs to “shield [itself] from the effects of firearms falling into the wrong hands” is nothing short of ironic. Her hands ended up being the wrong hands.
Stories like this unravel the narrative purported by “responsible” or “reasonable” gun control proponents. It’s hard for any side of the political aisle to advocate for policy changes and promote a key message to the party’s platform when supposed supporters of such policies break them in the worst way imaginable.
Kellie Collins sought to unseat U.S. Rep. Jody Hice last year, but WJBF-TV explains she “left the race before qualifying” and explains she dropped out for “personal reasons.”
Being psychotic must’ve been one of those reasons.
