US Warship Shoots Down Iranian Drone, Trump Confirms!

President Trump confirmed that the USS Boxer shot down an Iranian drone today in the Strait of Hormuz.

“The Boxer took defensive action against an Iranian drone which had closed into a very near distance, approximately 1,000 yards, ignoring multiple calls to stand down and was threatening the safety of the ship and ship’s crew,” President Trump said while speaking at a White House flag presentation ceremony with Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

 President Trump noted, without elaborating. "US has 'destroyed' an Iranian drone in Strait of Hormuz, The drone ignored warnings from USS Boxer to stand down as it neared the ship.  “The drone was immediately destroyed. This is the latest of many provocative and hostile actions by Iran vessels operating in international waters. - The United States reserves the right to defend our personnel, our facilities and interests, and calls upon all nations to condemn Iran’s attempts to disrupt freedom of navigation and global commerce,

Compelling statement;

 A group of black pastors has demanded that Nike sever ties with football player-turned-activist colin kaepernick over his political views.

 The group has also called for the popular sportswear brand to reinstate its Betsy Ross flag shoes, which the company pulled after Kaepernick insisted were inappropriate as they were a throwback to the slave era.

What are the details?

 The Coalition of African-American Pastors says that kaepernick’s thoughts — including those on the flag shoe design — are too far on the fringe for a company like Nike.

 The group issued a blistering statement condemning kaepernick’s behaviors, adding that the activist represents “radical anti-American sentiment.”

 Published in the Commercial Appeal, the statement — penned by Coalition President Rev. Bill Owens — demanded the company make the Betsy Ross flag shoes available for the public to purchase.

 “Removing the Betsy Ross flag shoes at 'his behest' implies that your company shares his negative view of America, its founders, and the woman who designed the first flag,” a portion of the statement read. “…  

 For a long time, sports have been something that brings Americans together. Nike has been one of the companies we associate with ‘Team USA.’ Please don’t tarnish that legacy by continuing to cater to anti-American policies.”

 Owens’ letter added, “Many of us marched in the civil rights movement of the 1960s and have an established record of civic activism. We represent a variety of races, ethnicities, and creeds. And we agree that

kaepernick’s views on America and the flag are fringe opinions, not shared by any of us, especially the African Americans who marched against segregation with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In fact, we find kaepernick’s views to be ill-informed and offensive, especially to veterans and others who have served this country.”

Owens also warned that Nike is doing itself a disservice by associating itself with such “fringe opinions,” insisting that an affiliation with kaepernick has “tainted” the group’s view of the brand.

 “How can we purchase the merchandise for ourselves or our families from a company that holds those views of our country?” Owens’ letter added. “If this is not the case, we urge you to make it clear that you respect the American flag, its people, and its Founders. We ask that you sever your relationship with kaepernick, who has become synonymous with radical anti-American sentiment. And we ask that you make amends to veterans by producing a select run of the Betsy Ross shoes for the benefit of the veterans groups and organizations that help military families.”

In an interview, Owens told the outlet that "the letter — which is to serve as a petition to Nike and its CEO — gained a warm reception across his board. We just don’t feel that it was fair that they would pull this flag because kaepernick opposed it, he opposes a lot of things,” Owens concluded. “We love this country, we love the flag, whereas there are some people who just find something to complain about anything.”

 The Coalition of African-American Pastors used to be Memphis-based, the outlet reported, but is now based out of Henderson, Nevada, where Owens moved several years ago.

 While politicians and Presidential hopefuls expressed their outrage and pointed fingers at the Trump administration, official data indicates that Mexico-U.S. border deaths have actually declined in the first two years of the current administration!

 According to statistics compiled by the United States Border Patrol, there were 298 border deaths in 2017 and 283 in 2018, making it an average of 291 per year. The average yearly deaths under resident obuma stood at 372 and 382 under the Bush administration.

 However, as an analysis by National Review highlighted, Trump also likely benefitted from a drop in overall illegal border crossings, a trend that was sparked during Bush’s second term.

 “But the reality is that deaths at the U.S-Mexico border decreased after Donald Trump became president,” the analysis stated. “The fact remains that the totals from 2017 (298) and 2018 (283) are two of the lowest since 1999 – and there was no mass outcry in earlier years with much higher numbers.”

 Indeed, the tragedy of border deaths has been happening for several decades. The highest number of border deaths on record, official data shows, was in 2005 in which the trek claimed 492 lives, seconded by 2012 in which 471 deaths were recorded by Border Patrol.

Mexico Puts Congress to Shame with Stunning Border Move.

The border situation continues to deteriorate, with thousands of illegal aliens demanding asylum into the U.S.  

 Many more try to cross illegally, being apprehended and released into the country.

Congress is close to passing a weak bill to help the issue—loaded with Demwitocrat traps to make the problem worse.

  Meanwhile, Mexico is shaming our own lawmakers with a stunning show of support at the border.

Vice President Pence recently slammed Demwitocrats in Congress when he said that Mexico was doing more to help the border crisis than they were. He was 100% correct.

 As more and more migrants bombard our Southern border, Demwitocrats in the House put their fingers in their ears and ignore it. They would rather see our nation fall apart, than do anything to fix this problem!!

 For months, President Trump has called on Congress to pass a bill that would fix our immigration loopholes and provide funding for the border.

 Demwitocrats instead have ran bogus investigations against him in the hopes of impeaching the president. Their lack of willingness has been shocking. And don’t think Americans haven’t noticed.

 Now, after Trump threatened to take drastic action to deport millions, Demwitocrats are trying to pass a pathetic bill that neglects key funding. Worse still, they are trying to force through plans that would make our immigration system even weaker. President Trump has struck back with a threat to veto whatever they pass.

 The White House threatened late Monday to veto a $4.5 billion House bill that would provide emergency funding at the border over concerns that legislation in its current form lacks certain funding and includes provisions thrown in by Demwitocratic lawmakers “that would make our country less safe.” [Source: Fox News]

 The House bill refuses to provide funds for our detention centers. According to some reports, pukelosi is trying to put in provisions that will allow illegal immigrants and asylum seekers to use kids as props to bypass our vetting process.

 Once again, Demwitocrats are trying to make the situation worse. Instead of cooperating with the president, they still want to undermine the border crisis. These these Are people nuts!! They are so corrupt, they won’t even pass a basic bill to help Americans!!

 Meanwhile, Mexico announced even bigger steps they are taking to protect our border and fulfill their end of the deal.-  “Mexico has deployed almost 15,000 troops to the US-Mexico border to curve migration flow,” CNN reporter Nick Valencia tweeted. “An additional ~2,000 National Guard elements have also been deployed across the country’s southern border with Guatemala & Belize.: MX Secretary of Defense Luis Sandoval.”

 That is a seriously large force for mexico! Mexico is sending nearly 15,000 National Guard troops to our border to address the migrant crisis. Even Valencia from CNN had to say he’s “never seen this kind of cooperation from Mexico before.”

 Mexico has already sent thousands of troops to secure their Southern border with Guatemala. They have pleaded to build more detention centers on their own land. Also, a new policy is being enacted that will require asylum seekers to apply for asylum in the first country they reach. For most, that is Mexico.

 All this will significantly curtail the massive influx of migrants coming to the U.S. Hopefully, we could see the crisis come to an end.

 None of this has happened because of Demwitocrats in Congress!!

If they had their way, we’d have no border!! Hundreds of thousands of aliens would invade our country. We’d be overrun. Our communities would be in even worse shambles!!

 When they are asked to pass a simple bill, they use it as a chance to make the problem worse.

Yet Mexico, which historically hasn’t done anything to help our immigration problems, is doing an incredible job of helping. After President Trump put 'pressure' on them!!

 What does that say to you about the kind of demwitocrates we have in Congress? They have less concern for Americans than the Mexican government.

 Trump has effectively cooperated with the likes of North Korea, the Middle East, and Mexico.

Yet members of his own government continue to cause serious problems!!

How more pathetic can the Demwitocrats get? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

After Texas Gov. Abbott Teams Up With Pentagon – They Unleash A New Wave Of Troops To The Southern Border.

The situation at our border continues to have issues, and tensions among oncoming travelers and ICE remain high.

 You’d think most of D.C. would be working to solve this problem. But to most demwitocrats, it doesn’t appear this way.

 To the concerned citizens, President Trump has been the only leader in Washington to make our border a priority. He’s fought hard to get Congress to provide funding. The president has even done the impossible by securing significant support from Mexico.- But the job is far from over!!

 Until our border is 100% secure—through legislative changes and/or a wall—we still face serious national security concerns.

 President Trump is not sitting back and forgetting about this and as usual, he’s being proactive in making sure every last citizen can sleep easy.

Thousands more troops are moving quickly to help at the border.

 These new active-duty personnel will provide “aerial surveillance, operational, logistical, and administrative support” to Customs and Border Patrol, which we desperately need.

 These servicemen include active-duty military as well as one thousand Texas National Guard soldiers, so it’s a pretty significant force.

 As other states refuse to address the border situation, Texas has always stepped up to back the president.

The reinforcements will provide significant support to our over-taxed and burdened Customs and Border agents … their job is already tough enough as it is!

Our agents have been begging for help for months, as they continue to see more and more aliens at our border’s doorstep!

 Well,  to some extent this ought to be a relief for them.

Over time, the hope is the problems we’re facing down South will get better.--DUH!!

 We’ve got a LONG ways to go but  President Trump is making sure—no matter what happens—the American people and our safety comes first. He's KEEPING AMERICA GREAT!

There’s a lot of people blowing back on the Green New Deal. They’re going, ‘Oh, it’s impractical, oh it’s too expensive, oh it’s all of this.’ If we used to govern our dreams that way, we would have never gone to the moon.”

He added, “We need to be bold again in America. We need to have dreams that other people say are impossible. We need to push the bounds of human potential. Because that is our history. When the planet has been in peril in the past, who came forward to save the earth from the scourge of Nazi and totalitarian regimes? We came forward. Who came forward to save the planet or continents from financial ruin? We came forward with the Marshall Plan.”

These comments will not hurt Booker in the primary.

 Rank-and-file Demwitocrats look down their noses at the U.S. military.

So insulting the troops’ fight against the evils of Nazism may win him votes in a Demwitocrat primary.

 “Department of Defense personnel shall not, without further direction from the President, conduct traditional civilian law enforcement activities, such as arrest, search, and seizure in connection with the enforcement of the laws,” it added.

 Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said "despite the new authorization, the current missions have not yet changed and that troops remain unarmed except for those whose specific job is to protect other deployed troops.

Acting Defense Secretary Richard Spencer has authorized the additional deployment of 1,100 active-duty troops and 1,000 Texas National Guard soldiers to the U.S.-Mexico border, the Pentagon announced today.

They will join some 2,500 active-duty and 2,000 National Guard troops already there, for a total force of 6,600 on the border mission.

The new active-duty troops will arrive “in the next several weeks” and will provide “aerial surveillance, operational, logistical, and administrative support” to Customs and Border Patrol, Pentagon spokesperson Maj. Chris Mitchell said in a statement.

The increase in active-duty forces is required due to a “shortfall in volunteer National Guard personnel” conducting the same missions, Mitchell said.

Border arrests fell in June after Donald Trump worked out a deal with Mexico which included Mexico deploying thousands of troops along their own border to prevent illegal aliens from traveling through Mexico to the United States.

The deployment of additional U.S. troops is another measure the President is taking to tackle this illegal immigration crisis.
