Journalists have questioned rumors of immigrants being discharged from the military.

 The Daily Caller reports:

National Public Radio reporter Tim Mak took apart the Associated Press’s coverage of discharged immigrant

recruits,” framed the military as adopting policy changes that hurt immigrants, according to Mak.

 Mak criticized the AP for only providing “hints and anecdotes” instead of evidence that the Trump administration made such changes. “If I was the editor on this story I would have asked for more meat on the bones,” tweeted Mak. “Show me evidence of a change in policy.”

   Fake News Alert: Police Officer Exonerated of Horrible Accusation.

A lying black woman who claimed that a Texas Highway Patrol Trooper raped her after she was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated might want to rethink her story now that the Texas Department of Public Safety has released the body cam footage from the arrest.

 The Texas Highway Patrol Trooper pulled over 37-year-old Sherita Dixon-Cole after she allegedly committed a traffic violation. They arrested her and took her to the Ellis County Jail, where she was formally charged with DWI.

  In a press statement, the Texas Department of Public Safety wrote:

Following the arrest, spurious and false accusations related to this traffic stop were made against the Texas Trooper.

 Upon learning of those allegations, the Texas Department of Public Safety immediately took action to review the video in connection with this traffic stop and arrest.

 The video shows absolutely no evidence to support the egregious and unsubstantiated accusations against the Trooper during the DWI arrest of the suspect.

 The Department is appalled that anyone would make such a despicable, slanderous and false accusation against a peace officer who willingly risks his life every day to protect and serve the public.

 The allegations were published in The Root and by far-left activist Shaun King, who appeared to add even more allegations to those made by Dixon-Cole, saying that she was “kidnapped” and was “being held hostage.” 

 In a 704-word Facebook post that got more 56,000 shares, King wrote:

"This woman was kidnapped and raped by a Texas State Trooper— OFFICER HUBBARD, she is now being held hostage in Ellis County Jail! He drove the car behind the vacant dealership and told Cole “why don’t you just give me some of that sweet pussy you have been given your fiancé and then you can go home.” Cole begged Hubbard to just take her to jail. He placed his hands back up her skirt and penetrated her vagina, warning her “not to be stupid!” He explained, she could “go home tonight” if she just gave him what he wanted."

 These claims are in no way supported by any part of the nearly two hours of body cam footage that was released by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Several other allegations made by King in his Facebook post also appear to be blatantly false. King also reposted many of the allegations to his Twitter account, where they got tens of thousands of retweets.

The Trump administration has been defending ICE relentlessly in the face of leftist attacks.

Fox News reports:

The Trump administration has launched a full-scale defense of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the face of growing Democratic calls to “abolish ICE” — a slogan that was once limited to the far-left fringes of the party.

 “While I stand before you today at a time when some people are actually calling for the abolition of ICE, in this White House let me be clear — we are with you 100%!,” Vice President Mike Pence said at ICE headquarters on Friday. “And as the president said last night we will always stand proudly with the brave heroes of ICE and Border Patrol. Under President Donald Trump, we will never abolish ICE. As the president said, we will never fail to applaud and expand and empower this agency with the resources you deserve,” he said.

 The searing speech from Pence, which included swipes at Democrats for attacking the agency, came a day after the White House issued a lengthy defense of the agents and the agency itself.

 Abolishing ICE is shaping as a leftist platform point – but will it sway independents and centrist Democrats in the upcoming election?

President Donald Trump asserted on Thursday that a vote in November for Democrats is a vote for “anarchy, amnesty and chaos.”

“A vote for Democrats in November is a vote to let MS-13 run wild in our communities, to let drugs pour into our cities, and to take jobs and benefits away from hardworking Americans,” Trump wrote in a tweet following a speech in Montana, where the Republican was campaigning against Democratic Sen. Jon Tester.

“Democrats want anarchy, amnesty and chaos – Republicans want LAW, ORDER and JUSTICE!” Trump continued in his tweet.

“Every day, the brave men and women of ICE are liberating communities from savage gangs like MS-13,” Trump added in another tweet.

“We will NOT stand for these vile Democrat smears in law enforcement. We will always stand proudly with the BRAVE HEROES of ICE and BORDER PATROL!”

The anti-ICE campaign heated up after the surprise primary defeat of New York Rep. Joe Crowley, the fourth highest-ranking Democrat in the House. Crowley lost a June 26 primary race against Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a 28-year-old Bernie Sanders organizer and member of the Democratic Socialists of America. Ocasio-Cortez has said she wants to abolish ICE. New York Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand jumped on the bandwagon on June 29, saying that she also wanted to shutter the agency.

Trump has signaled that he plans to continue hammering Democrats over the party’s opposition to ICE.

 “Well I hope they keep thinking about it. Because they’re going to get beaten so badly,” Trump said in a Sunday

interview on Fox News about Democrats’ ICE position.

 President Donald Trump criticized Democratic lawmakers for calling for the abolition of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, in a Thursday rally.

 “The Democrats want open borders which means lots of crime. We want tough, strong powerful borders, and we want no crime and we’re going to protect ICE. We protect ICE. They protect us and we protect them,” Trump declared, repeating, “they protect us and we protect them.”

 The White House released a lengthy defense of ICE Thursday saying “abolishing ICE would mean open borders because it would eliminate the agency responsible for removing people who enter or remain in our country illegally, including drug dealers; gang members; and child molesters, rapists, and other sex offenders and  would allow dangerous criminal aliens—including violent and ruthless members of the MS-13 gang—to remain in American communities and inflict terrible harm on innocent American men, women, and children,” the White House continued.

Poll: Americans with President Trump on Immigration.

Voters across both party lines appear to be in agreement with President Donald Trump’s immigration priorities, a new Harvard-Harris Poll finds.

 The poll, weighted to be broadly representative of the U.S. population, found that 65% of voters overall agreed with Trump’s position that any bill codifying obuma-era protections for illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children should be accompanied by funding for a wall, ending chain migration, and ending the diversity visa lottery program!

 The individual elements of each of Trump’s demands remain broadly popular as well.

79% of respondents said they believed “immigration priority for those coming to the U.S. should be based on a person’s ability to contribute to America as measured by their education and skills or based on a person having relatives in the US.”

 The diversity visa lottery program saw a similar 68 percent disapproval by voters.

Negotiations between the White House and Capitol Hill are likely to escalate further as a new February 9 deadline approaches.

 Senate Democrats ended a three day government shutdown Monday largely fueled by a current impasse over DACA and funding for a border wall, which Democratic lawmakers have insisted is a waste of money.

 Trump however has made clear funding for the wall is an absolute must in any deal along with his two other immigration priorities!

The news network reported on Friday that San Antonio police arrested Kino Jimenez, 30. Jail records show he was detained on a warrant of theft of person.

 Jimenez’s arrest stemmed from a viral video shared earlier this week that captured him harassing a teenager wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap at a Whataburger restaurant in San Antonio.

 Hunter Richard told News 4 San Antonio that he was dining with his friends at a Whataburger restaurant when he had his cap stolen.

 “I support my president, and if you don’t, let’s have a conversation about it instead of ripping my cap off,” Richard said. “I just think a conversation about politics is more productive for the entire whole, rather than taking my cap and yelling subjective words to me.”

 In response to the video, multiple people connected to President Trump have offered to give Richard a replacement for his cap that was stolen. Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, tweeted Thursday night that if “someone can get me this young man’s information I’ll get him a new maga hat… SIGNED by the potus!!!.”

Calls to Abolish ICE Omit that Majority of Immigrants Agency Arrests are Convicted Criminals!

 As a growing number of Democrats and their allies call for abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), it’s important to remember that the overwhelming majority of illegal immigrants arrested by the agency have criminal convictions.
 In 2017 immigrants with criminal convictions accounted for 74% of all arrests made by ICE, according to government data used by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center in a study published earlier this year.

  Sixteen % of those arrested by ICE had pending criminal charges and only 11 % had no known criminal convictions or charges, the Pew analysis found.
 Nearly 60,000 illegal aliens deported by ICE last year were convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol and another 57,438 for possessing or selling dangerous drugs such as opioids!

 More than 52,000 ICE arrestees were convicted of immigration offenses, including false claim to American citizenship and tens of thousands had pending criminal charges for assault, driving under the influence and a variety of other crimes. Some had pending charges for more violent crimes like sexual assault, kidnapping and homicide.
 Los Angeles, an illegal alien sanctuary city, topped the list with nearly nine out of 10 ICE arrests consisting of immigrants with criminal convictions.

 Newark, New Jersey had the lowest number with 60% criminal arrests but every region had one thing in common:

“In all ICE areas, considerable majorities of arrests were for those with prior convictions,” the Pew study says.
 Those figures make the calls to abolish ICE, the 20,000-employee Homeland Security agency, preposterous! The growing movement includes elected officials—some presidential contenders—at the federal, state and local level as well as those running for office.

 Among them are senators elizabeth warren (Massachusetts), kamala harris (Mexifornia) and kirsten gillibrand (New York). warren and harris are reportedly making White House runs in 2020.
 Other federal lawmakers calling for the dismantling of ICE include Wisconsin Congressman Mark Pocan and Massachusetts Congressman Mike Capuano.

 In a piece published by a mainstream media outlet, a law professor running for New York Attorney General writes that ICE is a “tool of cruelty and lawlessness and dehumanization.” The agency was born in xenophobia and fear, the lawyer asserts, and it is doing exactly what it was designed to do: “Terrorize illegal alien communities, bring a police state inside our borders and treat people as less than human.”
 Not surprisingly, the biased mainstream media appears to support the abolish ICE movement and has demonstrated it with biased reporting as well as the promotion of radical leftist ideas such as those published by the New York Attorney General candidate.
 A mainstream national newspaper writes that the nation doesn’t need ICE and refers to it as an “agency that harms Latino and immigrant communities.”

 A northern Mexifornia newspaper blames the Trump administration’s “hardline immigration policies” for transforming the idea of abolishing ICE from a pipe dream for liberal activists to a legitimate political issue. The article refers to abolish ICE as a movement that has seen a “remarkable rise from fringe issue to Democratic rallying cry.”

 A multitude of media outlets around the country have followed suit, shamelessly displaying their pom poms for the insane abolish ICE movement.
 ICE needs to be strengthened because the agency is overwhelmed, officers can’t keep up with monstrous workloads and repeatedly lose track of hardcore criminals inside the United States.
 As a result hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens with criminal records are getting released by local authorities in the U.S., according to a federal audit released last year by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Inspector General. A surge in illegal aliens under the obuma administration pushed matters into crisis mode with deportation officers so overworked that they often lose track of dangerous illegal aliens with serious criminal histories, the probe found!
 This includes individuals who represent critical national security threats. One ICE agent cited in the report said this: “You might work 18 hours a day, but you still won’t get caught up!”

 Inspectors visited four key field offices and determined that the management deficiencies and unresolved obstacles make it difficult for the feds to deport aliens expeditiously. “ICE is almost certainly not deporting all the aliens who could be deported and will likely not be able to keep up with growing numbers of deportable aliens,” the DHS watchdog found.

President Trump tweeted a clear message to illegal aliens:

 President Trump on Thursday renewed his call to overhaul the deportation system so that illegal border crossers are swiftly sent back to their home countries and not processed by the immigration courts!

 He followed up with a message to Congress: “FIX OUR INSANE IMMIGRATION LAWS NOW!”

It was the latest in a series of messages from the president on how Congress should address illegal immigration.

 He suggested weeks ago that Republicans wait until after the November elections to take up the issue, but then urged the House to pass a sweeping Republican-authored immigration and border security overhaul.

 After it failed, Trump claimed over the weekend – on Twitter, the same social media forum he used to urge passage of the bill – that he “never pushed the Republicans in the House” to vote for it because it couldn’t pass in the Senate. He again called to elect more Republicans.

 The president is tired of the Democrats standing in the way of solutions to America’s border security problem.

 In his frustration with Senate Democrats, he did tell House Republicans that it was a waste of time to pass the law.

  What hasn’t been reported are the constant national security threats that come from the southern border; we don’t know what the president knows.

 What we do know is that Democrats aren’t cooperating with the president, while the southern border remains wide open.

“The Supreme Court ruling preventing the removal of certain aliens convicted of aggravated felonies that constitute “crimes of violence” highlights the danger posed by congressional inaction.

Congress should immediately pass a fix to close these loopholes so that the United States can promptly remove violent criminal aliens from our country!

 Unless Congress acts, the United States Government will be unable to remove from our communities many non-citizens convicted of violent felonies, including in some cases domestic assault and battery, burglary, and child abuse.  It is a matter of vital public safety for Congress to act now.”

  How to Write a Law on Immigration:

“IF any person crosses any US Border without the PRIOR CONSENT AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the Government, said person has no right or access to ANY services available to Americans. This includes any food, water, medical or any other means of remaining alive. Any attempt to avoid capture will be further grounds to terminate with prejudice.”

 Individual Congressional members should use nature logic and remember that charity begins at home. The serious poverty and homelessness in our country must be our only concern. All foreigners who enter our country without our invitation or federal approval must be deported along with their entire family regardless of their country of birth. It is a sign of immature intelligence for any member of Congress to think like a 6 year old who is incapable of being responsible for the care of his own family.

Members of Congress must grow up and be responsible, “The safety of the American people shall be the highest law.”
