Dear Member -- I have volunteered to be the State Coordinator for Georgia. I am organizing meetings with US Attorneys, elected officials and other citizens in my home State. We need other citizens to step up to help coordinate the same kinds of activities in their home state. If you want to take action, please read this post

Since we discussed welding supplies there are now 5 google ads on my page selling welding stuff. Wow the advertisment people actually read our posts and messages. Busy world out there. LOL
I would feel sorry for anyone trying weld in -36 degree weather. I could not function in that kind of cold. Im sitting here at my desk paying bills, and my feet are very cold. Im just not a winter person. I long for our 98 degree summer days.
I guess Danny is a die hard I got him what he wanted the classic Pipeliner Fibremetal white hood. He has several lenses for it.The ratchet band had just wore out on his old one. He likes his new machine too. Its his first brand new one , beings that they cost 13,000 dollars. He had a 1967 Red Face 200 gas machine before this one , his oldest boy is using that one now. Danny likes the new diesel machine much better. welds real nice.Well, far as warm here in Texas, not to me it isnt but I guess it is compared to Iowa. Its about 40 out right now with a crisp cold wind. Not my best weather, but tommorow it could easily be 70 out. Its not cold down here many days. We just get a front now and then. Stay warm if ya can.
We have an Airgas store here in Bay City, the manager recently transfered to a bigger town, they may be hiring another. The phone number is 979-323-9110. I think they are still pretty busy, we bought a Lincoln 300 D from them in November, and lots of supplies. They were sold out of the type of hood I needed for Danny yesterday, so, I had to go to AOC.
Also, I drove through 225 in Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte today where all the refineries are and it still appears to be doing well, producing and working. The Mundy Company over there is always in need of single hand welders. And other crafts.
I was Firewatching at Dow Chemical in Freeport Tx , but they are just at an idle now, barely producing product so I have been off awhile now, however my husband is a Rig Welder on Pipelines, and his job so far is going fine, they are building several compressor stations and pipelines that go with them here in Southeast Texas, and across the country.
Not sure whats in the future.
Wow, I don't want to be in Iowa right now, that's for sure! However, down here we are seeing one day in the 20's and the next day in the 70's. These old bones are having a hard time with it, but this in Texas!
