But on the serious side do you think the nation would rise up to protect America,our heritage and the the consitution? (Declaration of Independence, para. 4 last sentence.) And what of the military and thier oath to protect against all invaders foreign and domestic? Or is 1776 so far into our past that we have forgotten how to fight for our freedom? Brenda

At 7:55pm on November 13, 2008, Laura said…: I watched the election results with my sons and some of their friends. They are Seniors in High School and some had voted for the first time. It was really refreshing to see them so excited and informed. The ones that could vote, voted for McCain the ones that couldn't supported McCain. They were dumbstruck by the results.

The next evening a few of them were back over and we watched The Patriot, this is the flag they flew, so we've adopted it to be our protest flag against the Obama Regime.

On a side note, I cannot tell you how upset these poor boys were after the election. One actually said he had a hard time saying the Pledge because he was so upset about what will happen to this country. I am so fired up, I want my country back!!!

It is the last entry on the list, but the first blog entered. It is a guide to help EC delegates understand our objections to Barack. I also have a brief synopsis of the recommended sites I am including with my letters. There will be photocopies of documentation supporting our position as well. Anyone who is interested, I can either post here, or e-mail. I ask, please, do not be confrontational with the EC delegates. IMHO, I think we will get further if we remain reasonable, respectful, and focused on our position. I hope that the delegates will not feel angered or threatened, as that could cost us their attention and their sympathy with our stated case.
Again, welcome. Look forward to hearing how things are progressing in Texas.
