Very valid points Hayden, but I do not believe the Obama bots and most of the 20 somethings will actually understand what you were proposing. As far as the Baby Boomers go I have a suspicion that the Issue with them was some what contrived by the Democrats/Progressives who outright stole the monies that were put aside and supposedly to be kept separate from the general fund. I also see the population has increased 300% or more since the last Baby Boomer was born, so how can there be a so called shortage of money unless the same Democrat/Socialists are still going full force and stealing the money that should have been earmarked for the baby boomers retirements? I do agree that Social Security is a Ponzi Scheme but every baby boomer who worked did put money into the account for their entire working lives. Factions in the Government continuously mis-use that money for other programs than it was intended for. So I would venture a guess that cutting those add on programs would be a tolerable start to moving towards a smaller more efficient government.
