The Fox News Republican presidential forum on August 6 -- also known as the mid-day consolation event for GOP candidates who fail to make the channel´s primetime debate -- is being moved to 5 p.m. and shortened to one hour, the On Media blog has learned. Fox News, the sponsor of the inaugural Republican primary debate in Cleveland, Ohio, has limited inclusion to candidates who finish in the top 10 in an average of national polls. In June, it announced that the remaining candidates would participate in a 90-minute forum at 1 p.m., eight-hours before the main event. The |

This is a suprise. 90 minutes is not very long.
The RNC and the GOP establishment is desperately trying to get some control over this wide open field of candidates and all the conservatives running...The tea party wants to elect conservatives and offering to help them.....We are fighting for control in the primaries to elect republican conservatives in the house and senate....as well as a conservative POTUS.(president of the US)..We will slug it out in the primaries but make no mistake about it...we will vote for a repub nominee ...the worst repub we can think of it hundreds of millions of times better that the best democrat that they can drag out of the cesspools of communist socialist hell...LOL
Excuse me? "the worst repub we can think of...."? No, that still would constitute a very wrongful decision, on our part, and make us look even more like "Dumb and Dumber" to the rest of America and the world if we elect "the worst repub we can think of"! What if this person you're thinking about, as the worst one, is a RINO (Republican In Name Only), like Lindsey O. Graham (nesty!) ? You'd rather elect that guy and have him run against HIllary?! OMG, he's IN BED WITH HER (not literally, but more so to her biddings!). Or maybe the worst RINO for you is Rick Santorum or Chris Christie? Those 2 ARE the worst and you think they're better than the "best democrat they can drag out.."? Well, maybe they might be better but they surely as heck-fire won't be able to beat the dems out of getting elected. No, let's stay on track to getting the BEST of the BEST, the TOP POLLING.....and I don't mean Jeb Bush either! No, he's the WORST of the top tiered ones and he's just another coward for Hillary and he'll NEVER pull in the votes! No more Jeb Bush's, no more Bush's! We don't need no "Bush's"! No, we NEED the most CONSERVATIVE candidate to beat out Hillary and the ilk of the party, especially if they are so stupid to nominate Bernie "the socialist" Sanders! Or how about that O'Malley guy? I doubt the socialist party will get him either.
What I am most afraid of is the GOP's nomination - and they do this at their National Convention -- if you people want the BEST of the BEST, the BETTER candidate (not the WORST) to be nominated then you'd better pull all the resources you can to get him/her to win their Primaries. What I tend to believe with all these 16 candidates we have now, is why do we have 16 candidates? Why did so many come into the running? Even some are reruns from 2012, Trump for one (and he's pulled a surprising move ahead so far with 24%, over Walker's 16%), Santorum again, Mike Huckabee again. What made them think they can get into the race again? I like Mike Huckabee, but doubt he has the stamina to pull in the votes and enough ballsy to debate against Hillary, then again, he could, but he needs money to do it.
Do you think the GOP advocates these runners into the race to weed out one certain candidate they don't want nominated, so they get these reruns back in and put in a few more Libertarians into the mix, and we have to weed them out over the better ones? I don't trust this GOP much, and they're doing something to this field of candidates in order to get whom THEY want, not what WE THE PEOPLE want.
Keep watching......I've been to a GOP convention in my state, so I suspect something's amiss about all these 16 candidates.
Carlene loved your response and will be back to discussion later...been working in my veggie garden this morn and had to jump in the shower eat breakfast etc and then have my down time with my Lord Jesus... see you in awhile...was sooo glad to hear from another woman who KNOWS politics..:)
"No more Jeb Bush's, no more Bush's! We don't need no "Bush's"! No, we NEED the most CONSERVATIVE candidate"......My words "We are fighting for control in the primaries to elect republican conservatives in the house and senate" and also as POTUS...Both of us want the same thing..We have until we get a nominee in the primary.... that is as conservative as we in the tea party are....then we have the general election to vote for that republican nominee...I was trying to convey that if we cannot get the best conservative in and we must go into the General with a lesser candidate ... that I will in no way vote for a dem or 3rd party candidate..I will vote for the repub nominee ..as pathetic as he may be...HE IS BETTER THAN ANY EVIL DEMOCRAT....lol...I needed to better state it ...You and I are sympatico as well on the rino repubs and all the rest of the field that you disliked..I don't want them either..but I will vote republican in the general ....I serve a risen savior ( I am southern Baptist) so I cannot vote for EVIL... Let us talk again on this and other discussions...You are a fighter and we need more activists like you helping in this fight to restore this nation born of God to bear fruit for the Kingdom of God...Matt 21:43 (KJV)........I adore Ted Cruz..above any in the field...He may be our Washington/Reagan...He loves this nation with all his heart..He knows the constitution ..His dad enrolled him also as a member of the Heritage Foundation when he was in junior high....His dad is a Soughern Baptist minister...You shoud hear the speeches tha man gives...Ted was raised up in the nuture and admonition of the Lord...He is a CONSERVATIVE..........:)
I doubt that Ted Cruz is eligible.
He renounced Canadian Citizenship to run..He had held dual citizenship....until then...
So he is not eligible.
Actually he is...if the media could have gotten rid of him by now they would have hammered him to death on that... :)

Find me a farmer in the race and i'll vote for them, they know how to budget, to live within their means, and have zero tolerance for BS. Thats the person I want to see in the white house. I would run but I'm busy trying to fix my lawn mower :-)
