Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic
El Trumpo just tweeted a signal that he might go third party after receiving the news about a SuperPAC formed just to defeat him:
Way back in August, the Donald made an agreement with the GOP that he wouldn’t seek a third party nomination, but apparently that came with certain strings attached, and he believes the compact has been broken.
As far as I can tell, the Donaldinator is talking about this article from the Wall Street Journal:
The Republican establishment, increasingly alarmed by the enduring strength of Donald Trump’s presidential bid, is ratcheting up efforts to knock him out of the race, including the first attempt to unite donors from rival camps into a single anti-Trump force.
A well-connected GOP operative is planning a “guerrilla campaign” backed by secret donors to “defeat and destroy” the celebrity businessman’s candidacy, according to a memo reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
…The most concerted effort is Trump Card LLC, the self-styled guerrilla campaign being launched by Liz Mair, the former online communications director of the Republican National Committee.
“In the absence of our efforts, Trump is exceedingly unlikely to implode or be forced out of the race,” according to the Trump Card memo. “The stark reality is that unless something dramatic and unconventional is done, Trump will be the Republican nominee and Hillary Clinton will become president.”
It looks like things are going to get even more crazy than they were before

Oh I was talking about the University not the state.
Last time I was there was for the Texas A&M game which ended well past darkness. Not a single street lamp was lit and that crowd basically had to stumble around in the dark to find their cars.Part of some lame green thing and that was only the most visible problem.
When they wanted $10 for small bottle of water in place that does not allow you to bring in anything then the writing is pretty clear that fans are just cash cows. I could go on but that may well have been my last trip to Tuscaloosa. Far cry from being able to just walk in for free at halftime isnt it...
Ah well
Hey Glad to hear it was not the State Rhodes...I love my Bama...:)
People who have never lived In Tuscaloosa itself, even Alabamians, dont know how close the relationship once was between the locals and the university. That is all but gone replaced instead by something else much less special.
When I was a young man living in that town going to game was just a given and the whole thing cost next to nothing, if you went at halftime free, one could just walk in unguarded gates pick an empty seat and enjoy the second half drinking whatever one brought in surrounded by fellow Tiders and yelling till you were horse. It was in all respects a fellowship of southern football.
One of those things one would have wished remain but no.
Now the place belongs to those without souls it would seem. Hope to be proven wrong.
Trump will do whatever it takes to increase his name market value, which happens to be his primary objective in this campaign. He could care less who win the president's job or what happens to the republican party. Trump is for Trump that is a known.
You might be right there Jack. This Presidential run could turn into a lot of cash for him down the road. I have been watching for signs of this myself. Time will tell. If so I feel sorry for those who fell for it. I will stay on the fence with it for now.
