We The People USA

Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

Crooked politicians must be held accountable for the crimes they have done. Trump is the only one who will do it. To elect a POTUS who will not prioritize fixing our criminal political system will not be good enough for me.We will not get another one like Trump ,who will bitch slap the evil out of Washington politics..No one can deny that Trump is crazy enough to do it. But he needs us to want it fixed. He can not stand alone..This is that time in history. The time that many have hoped. Turn your back on this opportunity, and we are done. THAT IS THE TRUTH OF IT.

Sarah Palin says Paul Ryan will soon be 'Cantored'
"His political career is over but for a miracle, because he has so disrespected the will of the people," Palin said of Ryan, "and for him to already come out and say who he will not support was not a wise decision."

Actually he said he was not ready to support Trump.. But ,it was still a sign of him looking at 2020.I donated to Paul Nehlen`s campaign.Even if Ryan wins his primary, he needs to sweat a little.

Several continually ask how can we end the corrupt mess in DC. Now while I don't have any solutions, I have a thought and would be interested in the opinion of the many wise heads who post here. Obviously the crony capitalists, lawyers, lobbyists; along w/the rest of the hustlers that control Congress, won't leave and I don't see that changing until the voters wake up, unlikely till the distant future. But something might be possible within the Executive Branch from a dynamic and forceful POTUS.

Under our system, the President nominates Cabinet Secretaries who serve, subject to Senate approval.

But suppose, a Trump were NOT to appoint these Secretaries; what might happen? Well there would be no confirmation hearings, which currently gives congresscritters leverage over these nominees and opens a door for the lobbyists.

Then who would administer/manage these Departments? Essentially, the Civil Service which, I believe, by law is not subject to Congressional subpoena. As well, all political appointees who lack Civil Service status can be forced to resign.

What would be a consequences of this?  Reduced departmental headcount as well as greater public responsiveness.

How could Congress respond? By cutting off or reducing departmental budgets; a very good thing.

How could POTUS exercise control? These Cabinets are under the jurisdiction of the Executive Branch which is controlled by POTUS. So by naming advisors/consultants, having no enforcement authority, to these Civil Service leaders; POTUS would remain able to direct and guide policy.

Trump has made the crony capitalism a main focus of his campaign. That is without question.

Interesting idea Thomas.

HE WILL FIX IT...

Kevin Trump does not have a clue how to fix the economy or why America is not competetive.
