Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic
Crooked politicians must be held accountable for the crimes they have done. Trump is the only one who will do it. To elect a POTUS who will not prioritize fixing our criminal political system will not be good enough for me.We will not get another one like Trump ,who will bitch slap the evil out of Washington politics..No one can deny that Trump is crazy enough to do it. But he needs us to want it fixed. He can not stand alone..This is that time in history. The time that many have hoped. Turn your back on this opportunity, and we are done. THAT IS THE TRUTH OF IT.

You will have to clarify the fact M, show me one statement I made that is an apology for Hillary and I don't care who she may get us in a military conflict with except for Russia or China. We can kick everyone else's ass in a matter of days if we choose. You keep looking for signs that I support the liberals. You are wasting your time. I have never supported any liberal or a liberal policy. I am only trying to limit the damage some republicans are trying to accomplish. You see I think America is a great country and getting better every decade in spite of the mistakes we make along the way. However, given the freedoms we have I see no reason to be concerned we will continue on that progress unless me make a big mistake and have all of us taken out of the fight. You see if you are not in a contest you can't possibly win that contest. I want to remain in the contest.
M, your daily jousts w/ the site pest-in-chief, reminds of Lewis Carroll whose great character, Alice, responded to the taunts of the Cheshire Cat: "I'm not crazy; my reality is merely different from yours!"
Indeed.
R U sure? That quote sounds like more hellery clintoon!
Thomas,
Jack has some points that are valid to him and they should be talked out. No one has all the answers. Oh Hell, not even me!
Jack,
It won't remain the Country you cherish under the ineptitude of Hillary, and her hawk positions where she believes she we must use military force as she has proposed almost but not quite exclusively as a first response in the past, will cause a military conflict with either Russia or China and will definitely cause economic warfare more so than Trump will do because he does have a good business head on those shoulders and will be looking for profitability for himself and the United States.
What amuses me is the made up assertion that China and Russia are vaunted military powers; a claim beyond hysterical.
Beginning w/Gustavus Adolphus and John Churchill in the 17th century, Russia's abysmal battlefield performance has been a series of defeats, resulting in disasters, culminating in catastrophe; such as the Bolshevik Revolution.
As for China, from its days of Empire, they have never been more than a narrow regional power who couldn't even handle Japan, a nation one tenth their size.
China was a near failed state at the time of Japan's invasion of Manchuria.
An in progress civil war (Mao), European colonialism carving off slices and a government installed that was just pitiful. Japan was strong enough to keep thirty or so front line divisions of Russians tied down in the east even as Hitler was rolling up the Urals. Let us not forget outside of some serious boneheaded plays by the general staff Japan was giving the US fits in the pacific. So not a real good meter of military strength and proof wars are won in will of a people to conduct them not by on paper strength.
Such assumptions based on misunderstood history are worst kind of dangerous.
Russia ... just dont invade the place it's too damn big but it is a decent military at this time, a lot has changed in 15 years. Never look at how much money a country puts into its military alone, it does not translate well.
Together it would be a tough going and the US would be just a couple of bad moves away from getting a huge reality check. Of course the same can be said of them.
The surest path to being a historical warning is underestimating others.
The only point I'm making is direct and simple.
My example/reference is Russia's performance on the battlefield.
It has been abysmal since Michael Romanov in 1613.
And history is often a harbinger of the future.
Two things I think to should consider TVC, a countries power is not measured by its military power any longer and past military history is not a prediction of future might, both measures have been replaced by technology. Both China and Russia excel in that area when it refers to defending or challenging other nations. Military might is completely obsolete to technology might. Russia began it transition soon after the missile crisis in the early 60's and China has been pursuing this agenda long before the start of the Vietnam war. We are at least 4 decades behind their progress. If you think we can bang heads with either Russia or China today you are badly mistaken. They can shut the lights out without emitting a single bead of sweat.
Would not go in that direction either for the exact same reasons, at the time of the Soviet collapse they were far enough behind and that fall did nothing to speed up their progress.
Now? Who knows what is real is what is not, I wont pretend to know.
Technology is nothing more than the application of scientific knowledge to normal events; such as digging a hole. You can dig w/your hands or use a shovel. The latter applies technology which is hardly magical.
Speaking of China and Technology, I'm reminded of an old and true story.
Around 1750, approaching the last decades of the Qings, China's most incompetent Dynasty, (who made the Romanovs of Russia look like creative geniuses); Emperor Quinlong decided it was time to upgrade the Imperial Navy for the purpose of instilling fear in the hearts and minds of China's adversaries, principally the Japanese.
So he ordered a warship w/a Marble Hull, be built to project China's strength and tenacity. Today is sits on the sea bed of the Summer Palace in Beijing, never moving a centimeter during its 200+ year existence. The Japanese were neither fearful nor impressed.
Moral of the story. When evaluating Chinese technology always check for the marble content.
Rhodes my old pal. Glad to see your back. Hope things are ok. I missed your wit.
