I agree with you Virginia Pence is a decent man but he will not be able to influence Trump. No one has ever been able to do that, not even his children or his father. hero's are never politicians, heroes are persons who sacrifice themselves for the good of others.  We are surrounded by heroes every single day of our lives. When it comes to electing a president I don't look for heroes, I look for someone who cannot destroy America if elected to that office.

Other than that, America does need Heroes. Heroes in the way that every Veteran is a Hero. Every Soldier that gave their life for us is a HERO.  Heroes are role models for us and our children. the ordinary person who stands up to the ridicule by the "knaves and cowards populating the you owe me a living and hell no I won't go counterculture", for what is Traditionally and Morally Right, is also a Hero despite the derisiveness of the Left Wing Nuts.( no offense or comparison with the Red Wings Hockey Fans [fondly known as Wingnuts] intended). I am thoroughly sick of that class of miscreant that dares to call and compare themselves with the real Americans who still have moral standards they apply to themselves, and with compassion to others who are in true need of help.
