While Sekulow,'s comments are on the mark, the headline is brainless. The media isn't distracted, it's purposely disinterested!!! 

Before Islam emerged in the 7th century, the Levant and the Anatolian Plain, leading to the Fertile Crescent, was populated by hundreds of small yet vibrant Christian Communities.

Over the centuries, Islam, an intolerant and neurotic cult, viscerally hostile to cultural/religious freedom, has obliterated most of them.
